Banfield Pet Hospital Bethlehem, Georgia

I wish I would have read reviews before walking into this place. I went in to inquire about vaccinations for my new puppy. They told me $90 for the first visit and $50 a month after if I did a wellness plan that I could cancel at anytime. I paid the $90 and they took my pup in the back for 10 minutes. Thereafter, I met the doctor and she told me that they ran a few test and gave him his vaccines. I later learned that the local animal shelter only charges $10 per vaccine so I decided to cancel the $50 a month wellness plan and to just get his vaccines at the animal shelter as needed. I called Banfield to cancel the plan and they told me I have to pay $335 if I want to cancel the plan because they ran “all of these test” in the 10 minute period that they took my pup into a room without my supervisor. This place is a rip off and just want to bleed you out of your money. There is no way in hell I’m going to pay $335 more on top of the $90 that I just spent. All I asked for was a 2nd round of vaccines. My pup had already been to the breeders vet which I had the paperwork for. My advice is to take your pets to an honest vet. Banfield will do things that you didn’t ask for to run up a bill and their Wellness Plan cancellation is a joke. There practice manager Katrina was no help at all. -0 stars from me ????

Don't go, this hospital doesn't care your pet at all, they just want to take money from your pocket!

Been here a few times in the last few years, they are quick to call you and confirm treatments and prices. And everyone I have interacted with has been nice and knowledgeable

They were friendly but could not fill prescription for my pet.

So far they have been very helpful and informative even about behavioral issues with my young kitten. I like the plan my cat is on and the monthly payments are affordable on my strict budget.

Changed our appointment time without notifying us , then refused to see our dog . Tried to cancel our contract because of this and was by told Banfield we would still have to pay even if we canceled it .It didn't matter that they changed the appointment time without notification . Or that the contract was less than a month old . This place does not care about your pets all they care about is the money .

The staff and doctors are very caring and always treat my 15 year old dog with love.

So, long story short my cat got out and got herself pregnant. This clinic was so amazing at helping me figure out what was best for her, and taking care of her! I was updated every step of the way, got to meet her vet, had all of my questions answered, and was just overwhelmed at the care and honesty they gave her. They were upfront with the prices, even helped me figure out a wellness plan that would suit my cats needs. I love it here, and I'm definitely sticking with this clinic from here on out! Dr. Glover is so amazing and sweet, and we were so lucky to have that when we were questioning everything!

I was quoted a price for a procedure and I asked twice if it included everything. They said yes and the day I dropped off my dog, they called and said they didn't include everything and it would now be more. My dogs stitches came out and when I called to tell them, they said they were way behind and I would have to take her to a different location. Horrible service, will never go back.

They take very good care of my dog and they are very knowledgeable. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Love this place.

Staff seems to be doing the best with what they have however there are so many dead fish the whole time we were there that's all that my daughter would say I was honestly heartbreaking and the selection of items in the store or very minimal at best.. we were pleased to see a couple of new items finally come in in the reptile section.

When it came time to say goodbye to our chewy they were amazing to us.

I called to pick up flea and tick medication for my dog. I told them I wanted revolution and the girl didnt say anything about them not carrying it anymore, she just told me how much the product would be. Once I got it and got home I realized it was the wrong one. I called and was told that since they didn't have an updated heartworm test that they couldn't give it to me, regardless of my providing them with one that I had gotten at a different clinic. On top of that I have now lost $60 because they woun't return the medication once it has left the clinic. They did NOT tell me that I needed the heartworm test through them and did not confirm the medication with me when I went to pick it up. I always hear of people having issues with banfield in general and I'm now sold on never going back to them ever again.

I have heard horrible things about this Banfield location. I have never heard anyone say something nice about the individuals working at the hospital/Vet care. Let me say this. Idk what happened but my experience was unexpected. Every single person was wonderful, caring, kind, loving , sympathetic, empathetic and a blessing. They cared for our emotions. They cared for my best friends pup with the most gentle of hands and voice. If I ever need this locations services for my own pup. I will absolutely bring my own pup here to them and not worry at all. I listened through the walls of their conversations they would have with other fur babies and it was kind and loving. The previous complaints I was told was far from what I saw, heard or experienced. I am so glad that I experienced a different treatment. I am so glad that the reason I was there was a much friendlier experience. It was hard enough to say goodbye to a fur baby. Thank you everyone for loving on us while we were there.

Staff was nice and kept me very informed. Easy drop off for pets and great programs for all aged pets

I brought a sick puppy to banfield. They refuse to see it so they didn't think it would live. I drove to Athens to the emergency r

They overcharge and they take forever to do anything. I was told it would take 2 hours to do a simple urinalysis for my dog. Its been 6 hours and they still havent done it and on top of that they quoted me a lower price over the phone which was not the case when I arrived in store.

Love this hospital. love the vets and staff. Always available when you need them.

They do not have things in the correct location; clearance section. And instead of going to check, they wanted to charge me 50% off which made it double the clearance price. Just too lazy to walk back there and look.

They have been taking care of my 3 dogs for the past 3 years under their care plans. The preventive is very good and very complete. We are very happy with their services ????

I have visited many Banfield hospitals because of travel, but this location is one of the best by far. My dog needed immediate attention and after calling at least a dozen Banfield locations, this one went above and beyond to help and got her seen within hours. From Brittany to Emily and Dr. Izlar, everyone was so kind and compassionate with my sick pup. I’m so impressed with the quality of care and would highly recommend this location to anyone.
