If I took my one year-old child to a doctor for the first annual exam and the doctor never spoke with me...I'd find another doctor. …

We were new to the area and had an emergency with one of our pups. She had ingested a toy. We showed up about an hour before closing on Saturday, after our regular vet turned us away. They welcomed our Dobi with open arms, performed emergency surgery, and kept us updated on her status throughout the weekend. Our experience here was so phenomenal that we have decided to switch to Animal Care Hospital for long-term care/routine care for all of our fur babies. I would highly recommend this facility to care for your babies!!

I have been bringing my pets here for almost 5 years. Dr. Reese is the dog whisperer. He is wonderful with explaining the details. The practice is flexible and the service is excellent. The practice is always super busy but then work hard to make sure your pet is seen timely.

I've been coming here since I moved up here 15 years ago. Dr Reese has Resse's Rescues and I have Kat's Kats. He's always let me keep my balance running and willing to take the time to be or spend with you. As for the staff everyone is fantastic. Thank you everyone for looking after and taking care of my kids. ????????

This man is one of a kind. Old school manners, empathy, and an absolute love of what he does...too bad there are only room for 5 stars.????

The only vet in the area that my 70 lbs dog will allow to pet him. Previous vet practice refused to see my dog.

We love dr Reece and all the staff. They are a gem of a vet in the area and we send everyone we know that way. And I am VERY picky, they helped with our boxers cancer , our elderly dogs arthritis and spinal issues as well. You can’t go wrong here and they actually care!

I have been bringing my furbabies to this clinic for over 15 years. Dr. Reese is an amazing doctor. He is very compassionate, friendly and definitely loves what he does. He gets on the floor with my baby and just loves on her while he does his exam and gives her shots, she never even knows that she has gotten her shots, that’s how gentle and loving he is with his patients. His staff are very professional yet treat you as family. Would never even consider going anywhere else. ????

We've been using this Vet for years. They have worked with us when we couldn't pay up front. Dr. Reese is so good with our cats. We saw the other Doctor today for our kitten. He was great as well. We have recommended Dr. Reese many times and will continue to.

My dog was seen last Saturday, September 29th. She was diagnosed with a cough and a slight heart mummer. She was put on heart medication. X-rays were not done or even offered. If x-rays had been done, Dr. Reese would have seen a giant mass in my dogs lungs. Yesterday we rushed our 9 year old beagle to the emergency vet in Braselton where she passed away less than an hour after we got there. My family is heart broken. My 5 year old son is devastated. Please do not use this vet.

I have never written a bad review before, unfortunately I am going to have to share with anyone considering taking your best friend here you might want to think twice. I have been taking my dog here since I moved to the area a little over 2 years ago, just met the vet this morning! It took me over a month of leaving messages to get an appointment and even the office manager doesn't promptly return calls. I was told this was an ongoing issue, they were just so busy, construction was causing issues with the phones and voicemail... Agreed to give them another chance. Walked in this morning to "why has your dog not been getting a particular vaccine?" My response was " I don't know he makes his appointments on time," at that time I was told oh yeah he got the vaccine last year it just wasn't in his chart? My dog has been here 3 times the vet just today decided he needed to be on heart worm medication. Made me question if my dog is really getting the shots and care that I am paying for. Bob will not be back.

I love Dr. Reese and his staff. They are great with my furkids futures and me. Dr. Reese always sits in the floor with my dogs and loves on them while talking to me. He makes it a pleasant experience for everyone. I have used him for my 3 dogs. I was very pleased with his knowledge when I initially brought one of my dogs in for a 2nd opinion on hip surgery. Another vet that I had been using for 14 years told me my dog required hip surgery. I took her to Dr. Reese and within a couple of hours he called and said it wasn't her hip at all. He explained that it was her knees. He was very thorough with his examination and explanation of treatment options. I am very confident in his ability and knowledge. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a vet.

My Yorkie Emmy ate part of the stuff in the bottom of my fake house plant. Took her to Animal Care Hoapital at Bold Springs they took X-rays and confirmed she had an obstruction in her intestines Dr. Reese is the Veterinarian and he was so nice, so professional and so caring for my fur baby. I have spent the last 3 days going in to see Dr. Reese and having X-rays of my Emmy to see where the plant was in her intestines. Dr. Reese gave her Barium so we could follow the plant and know if my baby would have to have surgery to get it out. This morning only a very small portion remains in her colon and she is doing great. Dr Reese is an amazing Veterinarian, man of the Lord and now a friend. I cannot thank him enough for all of his kindness and the knowledge and ability that he has shown during this very sad and stressful time. The office staff are all so wonderful too. Very professional and really care about the animals and their clients. I left this morning after our visit with one happy Yorkie and adopted a new Kitten into our family. We will call the kitten Witness as we believe we were led by the Lord to this wonderful Vet and man. Thank you to all the staff and especially Dr. Reese for working with our Lord to save my baby Yorkie Emmy. Tracy and Peggy England

I love Dr. Reese. He was so sweet and gentle with my baby, Sally. It made for a very easy and calm visit, which is not typical with a cat. I actually adopted her from this vet and was going back for a check up. I highly recommend this vet. And please keep an open mind to adopting the cats here...my little angel is my world. Thank you, Dr. Reese + staff for taking care of my girl.

Loving veterinarian who is all about the care of the animal and the family and not the money. A wonderful practice that gives individual attention and truly cares about my pet. It was a blessing that we found this veterinarian. Dr. Reese is a phenomenal veterinarian and person!

He was okay with yearly exams until two of my pets died. One was a misdiagnosis and the other the new guy had no clue and he left my sick animal and went to lunch. He died same day. I used to like this vet but he spoke more about his personal life and inconsequential trivia than about my dog was suppose to be vetting.

Do not go here. I liked Dr. Reese and his staff. Until....I took my girl in to them sharing that she had been acting as if she was very uncomfortable. He supposedly observed her all day and in the end diagnosed her with a soft tissue injury. I picked her up at 4pm and then within an hour called back and insisted that I needed to return because she was vomiting. He then took an x-ray and found she had swallowed something and had a blockage. This is where I made one of the worst mistakes of my life. I did as he suggested. He wanted to put her on fluids and pain treatment overnight and promised she would be his first operation in the am. She did not make it until then. Note that he seemed rush to leave the office. I trusted him even though my heart was telling me different and I can't take it back. We are heartbroken and devastated.

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! Do NOT take your pet to Dr. Reese. Our dog had a tumor on his side. He was operated on by Dr. Reese. Neither before nor after the surgery did Dr. Reese even speak to us. TWO DAYS later, the would was horribly infected and the stitches had come loose. He had to be operated on again by an emergency veterinarian. After the surgery, the emergency vet told us she was surprised to find that there were very few internal stitches. There was also seriously "angry" tissue around the incision that should have been removed but had not been. We also found out later from another vet that our dog had been seriously under-prescribed pain medication. The poor dog almost died and was not given enough pain medication to help with the recovery. As if that weren't enough, when the emergency vet tried to contact Dr. Reese to discuss the situation, he never returned her calls after multiple attempts. No one from the office ever tried to contact us about our dog's recovery. No one even checked to see why we hadn't come in to have the stitches removed!! When we contacted the office to get our files transferred to a new facility, we were told (after we asked), that the lab results came back positive for cancer!!! When were they going to tell us this??? Enough is enough. If you love your pet, DO NOT, take him or her to Dr. Reese.
