Did some auto work for the owners and I have to say that they’re very kind and respectable. The animals all seemed very happy and comfortable with the staff and each other. Had to leave them a review! Keep on being awesome!

Rene and Matt are the most dedicated dog people I have ever met! People like their dogs, but these two love not only their own dogs, but everyone else's as well. Hound Haven is truly a great place for our pups to spend a vacation. Even though they're not the most social or most will adjusted pets on the planet, they are treated as individuals with special needs, not just another dog. And as a pet parent I'm extremely grateful for the peace of mind when we go on vacation. I highly recommend Hound Haven for personal, kind treatment of your dog while you are away.

The owners are very nice people. I feel they interacted with my dog in a positive way. I have a week booked in June for him to stay there and hoping for another week in July. I would recommend Hound Haven to everyone

This is the absolute best Doggie Daycare and Boarding. Our two fur babies have traveled extensively with us and we have a few favorites along the way, but Hound Haven is tops! Rene and Matt have an innate kindness and love for animals. Our dogs went to them immediately at the meet and greet and began giving them kisses. They have control of the dogs, provide a place to run and play, a place to rest ( on beds and sofas and rugs) and plenty of water. They have a doggie door which provides the animals access to be inside or outside at their choosing. There is always someone outside with the dogs. Not only is Mat outside with them...he plays with them! They are accommodating and were life savers for us. We had them booked for 2 weeks waiting for our house to be completed, but as things go, the 2 weeks turned into 4 weeks. Each week I would phone Mat and Rene and say "not yet...can they stay"? They would always say, "no problem". They even allowed us to come and pick them up during the day several times per week to take our guys on walks, rides, dog park visits. We would bring them back before closing, and this meant a great deal to us because we missed our dogs a great deal. I also witnessed them with other dogs, and how they would introduce and help the shy guys slowly integrate with the friends at doggy day care. All of the dogs there were happy and would come and greet us when we came in. I also like the fact that they do a meet and greet first. They will introduce the new dogs to one of the easy going and super friendly dogs, and if there is aggressive behavior displayed by the new dog, they will say "I'm sorry...this is not a fit". They allow for some normal dog behaviors in getting to know other dogs, but aggressive fighting behaviors are not allowed to be a part of Hound Haven. The real 5 star rating comes from our dogs, because our dogs always do a full on body wiggle and get extremely excited when we pull up to Hound Haven for a Doggie Day Care day! We love Hound Haven!

I can't say enough about how great Rene and Matthew are. Sophie loves it there its her home away from home. They are so amazing with all the dogs you can tell they truly care about them like they are their own. It is great to be able to leave her and know she is taken such great care of for daycare and boarding.

I love this place, but more importantly my almost 2 yr old Frenchie does! She visits two days a week and has an absolute blast. Matt and Renee are great because the won’t just take any dog. Every dog has a trial period to ensure they can get along and play well with others! You can see they really do love their dogs. I highly recommend!

We absolutely ADORE Rene and Matt! Our dogs fell in love with their daycare from day one. One of our dogs is massively high energy and the other is laid back with epilepsy. They go above and beyond to meet the needs of both. We can’t say enough about how great Rene and Matt and Hound Haven are! Best daycare in Beaufort!

Hound Haven is a FANTASTIC place to take my doggie for daycare. We go 3 times a week and I never have a worry that Matt and Rene would give my Peaches anything less than the best care and attention. One of them is always in the yard …

We left our very spoiled 13 year old dog Sweetie who is not use to going to doggie daycare. The place is clean and Rene and Matthew were amazing. Sweetie had a great day so we highly recommend this place.

When I first met rene and matt I knew instantly they were dog people. I felt better knowing that I was leaving my dog (bosco) in good hands. I used the boarding service. I was very happy when I came back to pick him up, You could tell bosco loved his stay!! I would 100% recommend to my friends/family who need any of many services they provide.

My dog Ginger was just groomed at Hound Haven and she came home looking great! She smelled wonderful and got a lovely haircut. She is a nervous dog but didn’t come home anxious. She seemed much happier after her spa day. I left her for daycare and she made a few new furry friends! She loved her new friend Winston. We will be back to Hound Haven soon. Highly recommend!

Hound Haven is THE best doggy day care I’ve ever known. Rene is such a responsive, responsible and reliable owner and pet lover. Our dog gladly left the house when she came to pick him up without even looking back! The personal touches Rene adds such as sending videos and updates when we are boarding our dog made us so comfortable that our pup was with her. He always comes back from Hound Haven healthy, full, and extremely tired from all the fun playing with the other dogs!
