4 paws up. Dawg Tired is a pup and customer freindly place. Their doggy day care, boarding and grooming are all top shelf. They are my dog's home away from home. 5 years of exceptional care and we wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else!

The owner/manager, Sarah was quite curt and snippy about policy. Never addressed me personally or talked to me about the facility. The front desk staff, except for Leah was socially inept, didn't have enough communication skills to answer questions. When I picked up Chip at 530p they had.put him in a cage (not a crate)without my permission so they could clean the play room. Explained he was the last one and they close at 7p. After 2 months, I won't be returning. I did address my concerns with the co-owner husband, he said he would get their side but he doesn't force people to come and bring their pets. Honestly it could be a great.place...but it's really a blank.buildimg with a dirt yard to play in, no grass, no activities.

Our pup reeked @ pick up Ended up with kennel cough Had his toe nails cut ( I would have given a verbal ok to do so, if I'd been notified. Was told he got a bath ( note he reeked of an apple cider vinegar smell. His bedding was covered in same scent. Just not the right place for us !

I've taken my dog here for over a year now for short and more extended stays. Staff are very caring and responsible. My dog can hardly wait to leave me and get back to play with the others. Highly recommended!

I went to tour before I will take my dog for daycare. Well I can say this is exactly where I would take my teddy bear dog. The passion of the owners about safety and caring for furbabies was obvious.

Started bringing our 4 month old puppy here a few weeks ago.. the first couple of times she was so excited to go. The next few times I had to practically drag her out of my car to bring her in. They kept assuring me she was fine once she got in and had a great time. We scheduled a grooming appt for Friday to be at the very end of the day, so she would not have to wait in a kennel or anything. I get there 25 minutes after her appt was suppose to start so I could go ahead and pay and be ready as soon as she came out. I was informed that she actually had been done because their groomer likes to leave at a certain time, so she started on her about an hour and a half earlier than we scheduled. Our puppy looked super fluffy when I got her, but once getting home I noticed her hair had not been cut AT ALL, nails not trimmed, and she still had stuff in her ears. Wait, that’s not all. BOTH of my puppy’s eyes had blood all in them where she had busted blood vessels. Ask a vet or research this if you’d like, but that is clearly a sign of being choked/restrained. My fun, happy, playful, anti-snuggling baby is now really none of those things. She constantly wants me or my husband to hold her. (She’s a 30lb labradoodle puppy.) She’s pitiful. Her little eyes are just sad. I will say the owner refunded us for the grooming she clearly didn’t get, and I’m waiting to hear back on “what happened” to my baby while in their care, but I would not let anyone I know send their puppy here. I had a bad feeling in my gut after the 3rd time I dropped her off. (She only went 2 more times after, grooming trip included in that.) She will never go back. Ever. And I don’t think I’ll ever be okay sending her somewhere again. Puppies/dogs can’t speak. They’re like babies. My heart is absolutely broken thinking about what our baby went through. Every daycare facility should have mandatory surveillance cameras up that customers can access at any time.

I picked my dog Mac up from about a week of boarding to find that he had a gaping wound in his front right leg. Upon pickup, one of the unpleasant employees was quick to rush me out the door and saying repeatedly that Mac did not need to see a vet and it was just a small scratch. Upon further evaluation of the "scratch" it was clearly infected and very deep (literally to the bone). I brought Mac to the vet the following day and was informed that he did indeed need stitches, required sedation for the stitches, needed heavy antibiotics, and it was infected. This all cost nearly $400 in total to treat what was deemed as a "scratch" by the employees and owner at Dawg Tired. Dawg Tired did not call me at any point to inform me about the injury, or seek the medical advice of a vet. They claim to have treated him with antibiotic ointment, which was a treatment plan they came up with all on their own (again, did not consult myself or a veterinarian). While Mac has boarded here in the past, he has also come home with two of his harnesses and a rather pricey flea collar completely in shreds. When I brought all of these issues to the owners attention, he somehow found a way to place the blame on Mac and offered no sort of solutions, compensation for the vet bill or destroyed property Mac had been returned home with on three separate occasions, or even an apology. I am very disappointed as I was boarding my dog here several times per month over the last year, as I am active duty military and travel often for work. I would absolutely warn against bringing a pet here for ANY type of care, as there is clearly no protocol or policy in place for destroyed belongings, serious injuries to the pets, or even an unsatisfied customer. If I could give negative stars on this review, I absolutely would.

The title doesn't lie! My doggo was pretty dawg-gone tired. And I love my doggie... And she is a little spoiled, and man, this place spoiled her worse than I would. My dog is happier and clearly was well treated. I was initially very …

Micah loves this place! We get to Bobby Jones and he begins to be very observant, hoping we are going to Dawg Tired! When we turn on Enterprise, he about goes bonkers. Whether he visits for doggie day care or boards for a week and ends his visit with a bath, Micah loves this place, the humans, and the dogs! I highly recommend it!

Dawg Tired is the best! My dog was initially apprehensive, but after a week she was excited and ready to play when we would walk in the door for daycare! They are very efficient; I walk in and they immediately take my dog and I can head off to work. And they are open until 7pm which is a huge bonus because I work until 6pm most days, when other daycares close. The staff are very friendly and everyone knows and cares about my dog. And the pricing is the best around that I’ve seen. Couldn’t be happier!

Staff was great. My dog stayed for 6 days and was happy when she got there and when she left. Prices were perfect for the stay. She even got a bath and nail trim for a little extra cost but well worth it.

Wonderful place for your pup! My dog has separation anxiety and doesn't like to be left anywhere but he is very comfortable going here (which says a lot because he cried when I took him to another place in the area!) The staff and facility are amazing and it's obvious they truly care about your pets. The grooming is also great. It's very convenient to have him play for a while and then get groomed before we pick him up. Highly recommended place!

Very friendly place, and a great environment to take your pets too. I took my dog there for her temperament test and she passed with flying colors. She will be going there to get boarded in a few days and I know she will do great and have a fun time.

We had tried a few places in augusta before finding Dawg Tired. Our dog absolutely adores this place. He is always excited to go play with the other dogs and comes home thoroughly exhausted. We also get him groomed before picking him up and they always do a great job!

We take our two dogs here from time to time and they always love it. They are great with all sizes of dog. One of our dogs is usually very timid but absolutely loves going here. She now runs to the car when it's time to to. Staff is always very friendly and there hours are great.

I can't say enough about how great it has been since finding this place for doggy daycare. My dog, Deku, loves going to Dawg Tired. We can be around the corner still and he gets excited in the car knowing he's coming to Dawg Tired. The staff couldn't be friendlier, either. I definitely recommend here.

My husband took our sweet boy Gage here to get groomed last week and added a deshedding onto the grooming package. When we first picked him up he looked great BUT a few days later we noticed dried blood in his fur and A LOT of it. Upon further investigation, we found scabs covering his body. Obviously someone didn't know what they were doing when they were grooming him. Please do not waste your money here!!
