Disappointed ???? my family chose Wag Atlanta for our dog boarding this vacation. We loved the idea of the dogs being supervised and playing together. In order to do this your pet needs to be neutered and this is totally understandable. However, this visit no one bothered to check his file/medical records to verify that he has been neutered for the past 2 years. They did not allow him to play with the other dogs and to make matters worse they gave him 2 extra vaccinations shots because they didn't check his file and see that he already was up to date on his shots. No one called for permission or bothered to check the updated records that were dropped off with him at check in. This was very careless of those who were supposed to be caring for our baby. I honestly feel like my dog was mistreated being kept alone and given extra shots all because of improper check in procedures. They offered a refund for the vaccinations he didn't need, but to me that wasn't enough. No refund on the stay because they gave him "loads of one on one time" so they say, but that's not why we chose this location. Make sure you verify EVERYTHING with everyone you speak to so your animal doesn't get mistreated as well. My dog has been laying around lethargic since he's been home. We will follow up with him at his vet.

This is the best place to take your dog

I tried to make an appointment for dog who is 13 years old and in great health. We have boarded here for many years. I was denied because my dog is too old, according to the manager. My dog sees the vet twice a year, is up to date on all vaccines, and has never had an issue boarding. According to website, qualifications for boarding state: ‘Dogs over 12-13 years old depending on breed and health’. My dog may be a senior but in great health. I see no reason why he should be denied boarding. My dog is no trouble and does not even require medication or special feeding instructions! He spent a week over Xmas 2021 boarded here with no issues and I was asking for two nights. I was put in a bind with denial. I said I would board these last two nights and then never come back again, but was denied. Again, I see no reason for the denial and I do not think it was fair to be blindsided last minute without any compromise.

No complimentary bath after paying for holiday fee and 9 days. Im in tears. My child hair all over. Owner said nope manager sorry we don't offer that. Over $ 300 and i cant get a bath. I like supporting my community and location. Covid is in dogs and you dont bathe. Thats why the smell in the doorway is the way it is. Funky! Sad Update: You ask your customers on the day of dropping off for all monies upfront. Why not ask if they desire a bath after 5 since they are not compensated after a week of stay. Any animal needs a bath weekly. But moving past that. Now my family of 3 we're headed on a flight gone away for xmas. We had to reserve spot and pay fee online.(Principle! Not financial ! check it) if you're asking me for money ask me if i want my dog bathed. Clearly i didn't know. I assumed my dog was being bathed. But this time the smell was awful. Yes our longest time away from her too. My dog gets her hair done at Sarah's groom Room and they won't be thrilled. I don't mind paying a dime for my baby.. Communicate ill pay next time. Yout staff is nice. Management could have comped a bath since it wasn't clear. But instead stated its my fault for detaching from email during holidays. but u asked me for money upfront before a flight, not online, when i paid fee... and stated its monetary. If i can pay 390 plus 25 fee, surely i can pay to have my dog bathed. And let me know before xmas you want all of it. Traveling is expensive! Again staff is nice

i would recommend Wag to a friend. The staff was great. The only thing that I thought was misleading were the photos of the suites. There are no rugs nor extra sofas in the suites for the dogs. The wall decorations and tv were accurate. Pics on the site should show truly how the suites look other than it was a great experience,

When I picked Blake up he was so medicated it was insane. I understand my dog barks however I don’t believe it’s fair to drug him. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Bentley enjoyed himself and I will definitely bring him back. I love that pictures are posted for us to see and that I can always call to check in. Everyone is very nice and I highly recommend.

Wag Atlanta was great !!!

Every time I go out of town I use their service. I never have an issue , their prices are impeccable, they offer many things for your pet stay. The website is easy to access and easy to make reservations and pay your account.

Update 12/30 New Boarding for Christmas weekend. Knocking 4 star down to 1. Communicated directly to Wag Atlanta as to why with no response. Any internet response is just for social media show. I tried talking directly before posting. Interestingly, I didn't get the text request to post a review. ------ ------- 4 star----- Boarding (12/10) I'm rating a 4. I see the people here are working hard. I did have an issue. Although , it was not resolved. I was provided solutions and an explanation that made perfect sense. I may go with another boarder on my next need due to the things I am being intentionally vague about. I don't want that experience to cloud from the fact that I will likely use their service again. My biggest suggestion is to be more organized and to communicate internally a bit better. Things do happen and everything will not go perfectly as planned. During the attempt to resolve my issue - everyone was professional and that was greatly appreciated. I'd return.

I’ve never boarded my pup (Chloe, 6-year-old cocker spaniel) before, but decided to check out Wag Atlanta after being recommended by a friend. Chloe was well taken care of and I received updates about her, which eased my anxiety. The location is super close to the airport, which made parking and travel very easy. I will definitely be bringing Chloe back for another stay!

I’ve always had a good experience with Wag Atlanta. My dog always comes back home a little homesick but always super happy. I like that they are open 24/7, it’s always nice to be able to call wherever I am in the world and know I’ll be able to get someone on the line that can check on him. 10/10 would recommend.

Wag Atlanta gave me and my fur baby a wonderful experience the staff was very nice, professional and patient.

My toy poodle enjoyed his Thanksgiving Holidays at Wag Atlanta. He usually has severe separation anxiety but because of the personable care provided by staff he adjusted well. They went beyond the call of duty by sitting on the floor of his suite so he would not be lonely and have company watching tv. He loves adult attention and being petted, they gladly provided both. As a result of my dogs positive first experience at Wag Atlanta he will return for the Christmas Holidays. We love Wag Atlanta, used them all the time when we lived in Atlanta and love being able to use them when we visit from Florida. Super convenient - they get dropped off when I take off and picked up when I land. Best care, best service, wished we had a location in Florida - my dogs love it and are always excited when we pull up to drop them off. Highly recommend, staff is super responsive and treat our dogs like family!

I started using Wag Atlanta back in 2019 for my little Frenchie Blū because other boarding establishments wouldn’t accept in-tact dogs. To my surprise, Wag Atlanta offered so much more for my little man than any other places I’d visited, and at such a great price! The staff is friendly and attentive, along with being 24hrs and located right around the corner from the airport. Wag Atlanta takes convenience, value and service to the next level! As long as I’m traveling from Atlanta, I will always use and recommend Wag Atlanta!

I left Sasha for boarding for a holiday trip. The service was great and fast. Both on check in and check out. The convenience is unmatched. Close to the airport, a parking coupon with shuttle to airport, and 24/7. I only wish that they have webcams, so you could check on your pup while you are away.

Our dogs have a blast here! They come home tired and super clean from there bath. We have been very pleased with the staff and experience.

I left my 4yo for longer than expected Wag contacted me about it once didn’t disturb me like most dog boarding CPn everything I requested was done correctly I love the hours of operation I was able to attend my mothers funeral on time thanks to u all I’m never using another Comp.......

My first and last time boarding my dog here. While on vacation I received a call telling me that my dog was attacked, but only had two small lacerations on her lip. I get her home and she has deep punctures on her head, behind her ear, on her back and leg. Add insult to injury, she now has “Kennel Cough”….and yes she has all of her vaccinations!!!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! Reply: Yes, I’m sure I have the right location. You probably don’t have any record of me having a boarding appointment because I’m not using my entire name on this public forum. I still have the voicemail from your employee detailing the attack!!! It happened, if your serious about reaching out, provide your contact info.

Yesterday was my furbaby's first day and she did very well. The staff has been wonderful, of course I don't know all of their names but I did get to have a great conversation with Emeril and he is a hoot. So far I'm very impressed.

I had to fly last minute and I was so happy to quickly get my dog set up for boarding at Wag. He absolutely loved it, and I loved being able to see pictures of him while I traveled. Everyone was so kind and helpful.

Friendly staff and my doggo always returns happy and in good shape. I have boarded here several times, no complaints. I love the fact they take photos and post them on FB, wonderful place for fur babies

My dog stayed overnight for the first time and she was so excited when I picked her up! Prior to her boarding, we went for a tour and I was highly impressed by the staff and facility! I left a note about losing a close family member and the team took extra care to make sure my dog was comfortable! She’ll be back more often for daycare & boarding!

I am very thankful for WAG being able to accommodate us on short notice as I had heard so many good things about WAG. Sadly, the bathing experience wasn’t as great as the boarding reviews. My dog Teddy’s ears weren’t clean, nails weren’t trimmed, and when I arrived he was still wet. Understandably so as it was 11am but when I told the nice lady at the front desk it was no rush and I would wait in my car; my dog was still given back to me “damp” and unbrushed. I would love to come back for boarding but my bathing experience was ter…… not good.

Really clean environment and extremely friendly staff.

I really liked how responsive they are. My doodle was very happy in all her pictures and very well when I picked her up a week later. I love everyday updates on their FB page. Wag was able to accommodate my dog on a last minute request too, they do have a lot of dogs everyday so make sure this won’t be a problem for your dog. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because they don’t have any cameras were you can monitor your dog in their rooms so you won’t really know if they are there, this can be a great addition to their services! Overall great experience and we will return!

This is the only place I trust with my baby girl. She is pampered and perfectly cared for whether for day care or boarding. I love Wags! ????????????
