Kirkwood Bark and Lounge is one of the best places for doggie day care. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. The doggie cams are very nice, it provides a fun way to look in on your pup during the day.

We used them for a couple day’s stay for our dogs on short notice. The staff is great, and they genuinely love the animals.

We used to love leaving our dogs here, but the last time we did (May) we didn’t have a very good experience. The place seemed crowded and hectic when we dropped them off, and the employees seemed harried and irritable. When my smaller dog reacted to the chaos by jumping up and trying to climb back up into my arms, the folks working the front desk seemed annoyed. As soon as they took our dogs back to the back, we heard snarling and whining. We reluctantly left, because our trip plans were set in stone, but we didn’t feel good at all. When we picked up our dogs a couple of days later, one of them had a big scab on his side, and our worst fears were confirmed. We understand that dogs get into scuffles (they’re animals, after all) but anything that caused that big of an injury had to have been a pretty noteworthy event. We absolutely should have been informed. Never again. We have tried several other local boarders and found one that gives us much more peace of mind.

My puppy loves to go to Kirkwood Bark and Lounge! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. They treat us like family and take good care of the dogs. I have used their daycare, boarding and grooming before. I also have to add Twain does the best job on Kirby’s hair!! He always comes out looking great. Thank you Kirkwood Bark and Lounge team for all you do :)

So happy we found Kirkwood Bark and Lounge! Their prices are so reasonable and their half day options are great for folks who work from home. Our supercharged pup loves this place and comes back exhausted, so we're happy and she's happy! UPDATE: Kirkwood Bark and Lounge does grooming! Our pup got a gorgeous cut today and came back happier than we've ever seen her after a trip to the salon. They take such good care of the dogs here, we'll never go anywhere else in ATL.

My dog loves this place. He loves the people who work there and gets so excited to see them.

My Brittany Spaniel and I LOVEEE Kirkwood Bark & Lounge!!! The staff is awesome; always very responsive and helpful and they're all clearly dog lovers. My dog is somewhat high-maintenance (she suffers from separation anxiety) so I'm very picky about who I entrust her to, but everyone at KB&L is super great with her. Dogs are never caged for daycare and you can watch them on the doggy cam. They're also starting up dog grooming which I highly recommend. My dog was groomed there last week on a day she was at daycare and they did an excellent job for less than $100! And she was never caged like at some of the large pet stores.

Our dog loves going and doesn’t look back when we drop Hilly off. The staff is amazing and have always went out of their way to accommodate Hilly and us.

This place is the best value and quality day care / boarding experience for your dog. They don’t crate them during the day, ensuring a more worn out pup. The location & parking are easy enough for any nearby neighborhood. Staff are very friendly and kind to my pup. The sell non expiring daycare packs, something a few other places don’t do.

Kirkwood Bark & Lounge is great! I took my young dog to board with them for about 1 week and he had a great time. I got constant updates and pictures, and the staff is incredible. David is the manager and he is so kind and caring. When I picked my dog up, they gave me a goodie bag and food and were so sweet. I will definitely be bringing my dog here again!! 5 stars ????

Great day care with amazing staff. Our pups go ballistic with excitement when we go (even though they sleep all day). I know our pups are in good hands with the great team they have in place! Love you guys!

Our 9 year old dog had never been to daycare before we moved to GA. The staff are very helpful and made sure he was happy and comfortable. After a handful of daycare days our dog is so excited to go and the staff know him by name! It always smells and looks clean. There are even web cameras to check in on your dog during the day. Highly recommend this place!

I've been to a couple doggie daycare places around town, and Kirkwood Bark & Lounge is by far my favorite. I have a nervous little german shepherd who hates car rides and loud noises and apparently doggie daycare lobbies, and every time she comes in they sit with her and calm her down and have her watch me leave to make sure she's comfortable with them before taking her back. No other daycare has given the effort and attention like this group, and I'm beyond grateful! The cameras are also great for those like me who are obsessed with their pups, and the staff do such a great job at giving the dogs attention (versus other daycares where I've noticed they're mostly ignored and left to fend for themselves). I just love this place!

They love our Wally like their own whenever we have to board him. Very friendly staff. Even sent us pictures of our sweet dog while we were on vacation.

Best doggy daycare in Atlanta! Best rates for daycare I have found and an awesome and personable staff. If you take your dog to daycare, do the little guy a favor and bring him here.

Took my dog here 2.5 years ago after moving from Los Angeles. Ever since then, my dog has loved going to this daycare. My dog is very shy and anxious but they did a great job in making sure my dog is not stressed out. My dog even fell in love with one of the staff members! He rarely gets attached to anyone other than me but he just got along with Rachael. We are going to miss this place! Thank you so much Kirkwood bark & lounge staff for everything you've done for me and my dog. We are going to miss you all.

We have had such a fantastic experience with Kirkwood Bark & Lounge. The staff is professional, responsive, courteous, laid-back in all positive ways, knowledgable, and most importantly: kind and caring toward your fur kid. I recommend them fully.

My little 7 pound, yet very mighty dog LOVES his daycare days at Kirkwood Bark and Lounge. Geronimo is very playful and still under two years old. He has boundless energy and loves all of the other dogs and people who work there. Love the ability to tune in via phone to see the closed circuit TV that is played 24/7. Beware, though. I did happen to catch one of the employees dancing ballroom style with a poodle! And another day caught one of them snuggling little G while she walked around. Your dog may not be a good dancer, but there’s only one way to find out!!
