About to adopt our third cat from them this week! Our first 2 cats were adopted from here as well. Our two cats Sassy & Curry are so loving and I know it’s because they were in a safe great foster home ♥️ Donate to them & adopt here when looking for cats! ???? ????‍⬛

I can't express how amazing Georgia Homeless Pets is. Their service and communication is exceptional. During the adoption process, I told them what I was looking for in a cat and they did more than deliver on that. So happy with our new furever friend. ????

We adopted Tulip from them a little over two years ago. They were very accurate in describing her and we're easy to work with. Tulip has been awesome. Friendly, healthy and loves playing with the dog. She seems to have been well cared for while they had her and will be going back to them in the future as space allows.

This organization is SO rude! Go to [ATLANTA HUMANE SOCIETY] instead. 6 mths over: $0 adoption fee, vaccinations, starter food, collar, etc. They’re in more need than these cats that fosters cling onto. They took a look at our application, asked us a few Q’s then all of the sudden all of the fosters turned their backs on us & proceeded to IGNORE us. The woman who was in there with the cats talked to us the entire time ALSO turned her back on us when the fosters did. We were ignored for the rest of the time. They lied to us & claimed they would call us back after they “called our veterinarian”. False. They never called us back, but we knew better than to wait for them to call us back thanks to other reviews that said they were also rude & kept their hopes up. We bonded with this sweet girl for 2 hrs & just really liked her (& she liked us), so we got a friend to adopt her for us the following week. Last time we’ll ever give them money though. Will definitely be warning everyone against this place. Months later, she’s living just fine with our dogs & other cat. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Don’t be so judgy because you lose a cat a good home & force them to live in a crowded home for even longer than they need to. I later found out through the friend that the foster was extremely attached to this cat...then adopt it as your own instead of rejecting us because we have an “older” cat & a dog that “might not like the new 1 yo cat”. Why you shouldn’t be a foster: -If you get so attached to a cat that you won’t let it go unless the person is basically a homebody who never leaves, has no children, has no other pets. Don’t be a foster then. Just keep all of the cats for yourself. Some of the cats that I’ve been keeping an eye on have been there for a long time. I wonder why. -Don’t have the guts to tell people to their face, through email, or over the phone that you can’t accept their application. That’s just being cowardly & rude. Yes I’m aware they don’t give af about YOU, however, your morals are screwed up when you’re completely fine with being rude & ignoring someone not only via email/call, but IN PERSON.

I have a small animal rescue in the panhandle of Florida and have contacted this rescue to help with cross-posting and information. They have always been very helpful and willing to assist in any way possible. I wish more rescues could be as great as Georgia Homeless Pets is at helping other rescue groups!!

We've always had a stellar experience when working with GHP and even after. Our one cat is a special needs kitty (autoimmune issues) and they even met with me at the emergency vet last year when he had to be rushed there. The year before, the kitten we'd had for 3 months (and was doing fine the whole time) stopped eating and being himself. We had do do exploratory surgery on his stomach and GHP stepped up and coordinated a fund raiser to help offset some of the costs. I just honestly can't say enough good things about the whole crew. <3
