I am traveling during pandemic and they have a hose bib and the black man in the morning said, "Please don't use our water." and I said, "Well, I'm washing my hands and face. Can I do that?" He didn't answer and I asked him again and then he said, "No." Community health concerns.

Very friendly staff and often willing to accept last minute reservations for boarding.

Whenever I go on vacation and I leave Trent at The Ark, he always has a great time. The last time I left him, it was under extreme circumstances due to a death in our family. KT, Tyree, Josh and Orlando went above and beyond their calling to help me get through this difficult period. Trent was cared for, he got exercised, and lost some weight with the low fat meal he was having. I knew he enjoyed his stay because when I took him the second and third time, he didn’t hesitate to get out the vehicle. Thank you from the bottom of my heart guys. Please forgive me if I failed to mention anyone else and for people reading these reviews, please give them a Tip ... they truly do an AMAZING job.

Bark at the Ark is one of the only dog daycares in the city in atlanta that is open on time for healthcare professionals that have to be at work for 7am. They are so friendly, especially Orlando who we usually pick our puppy up from at night. We work 12 hours shifts so he is always willing to stay a little later for us if we are running late. He is the best! And our puppy loves it there!

I really love The Bark At The Ark. They are very professional at the Ark. Orlando is great with my Dog. He keeps me updated with Tolan’s food, Tolan’s activities and he gives great advice on the care of my dog. I really like his professionalism.

I truly love this place and so does my pup. He literally runs to the door every time we come for day care. They take really good care of your puppies. Orlando has especially made us feel like family. He has done a great job with the care of my dog and giving advice when I need it. He treats my dog like his own! Thank you so much for all you do!

AVOID Bark at the Ark at all costs!!! A staff member at this facility pulled a chunk of "flesh" out of my poor dog's eye! I normally use another boarding facility, but my senior dog was recently boarded here last minute. He has a number of eye issues (due to his age) and prior to boarding, I advised staff member "Kay" that his eye would need to be cleaned every morning. When we returned from our trip and went to pick up our fur baby, we noticed our dog's eyes were plastered shut... but this was normal. Our dog is 100% blind and suffers from cataracts, as well as dry eye. However after we got home, cleaned and opened his eyes, we noticed a huge chunk of "eyeball flesh" missing from his left eye. It was as if someone carved out a piece of flesh, intentionally or not. I did not discover the injury to his eye until we got home. We boarded our dog here last minute and I did not get great vibes upon dropping him off (should've trusted my gut). The facility smelled AWFUL and UNCLEAN!!! Yes, this is a pet boarding facility (and I've been to many), but this one smells worse than any I've ever been too, like they are not cleaning properly. In addition to our dog suffering an eye injury here, he also came back with DYSENTERY, another indication of an unclean environment. The only reason I didn't call to curse out the staff and sue after I discovered my dog's eye injury was because my dog is old and was already blind. I feel like it would be pointless, but I still have to make the public aware of the highly unfit conditions at Bark at the Ark! The staff is not pleasant or warm. They are more concerned about collecting your money than caring for your pet. The facility is not clean. Your pet will not be cared for properly. And the prices are higher than most others in the area. Their ghetto staff do not care about pets. We will NEVER ever... ever, ever, ever... board at this sketchy facility again and I highly advise you to reconsider boarding your pet here as well!!!

Horrible staff and facility. They permanently injured our dog's eye during a boarding stay and he also came home with a very severe case of diarrhea. The girl at the front desk acted very sketchy and nervous upon retreiving our when we came to pick him up. We didn't realize why until we got home. We've only used this facility as an absolute last resort. However, we will not be using them ever again, regardless of the circumstances! On top of their inflated rates, the staff they have caring for your pet are questionable. You have been WARNED... Take your fur baby to some place that really loves pets.

I love this place. I have used ALL services including Vet, boarding, and grooming and have been very pleased with the services I received. They do have a stringent behavioral evaluation process of your dog which requires you to leave your dog in daycare however, I am glad they go the extra mile to ensure dogs are not aggressive!

Greg, Ms. Kay, Sara, and the rest of the team are amazing. In my time in Atlanta they took incredible care of my two Danes, Quavo and Sarge. Their central location to Midtown/West Midtown is awesome, they have a vet office attached, open 24hours for pickup, and offer grooming/bathing services. Of course... when dogs play together every day, all day... incidents happen every once in a while... like children at school. I’ve always felt, however, that my boys were safe and in good care with them there and any minor issues were always resolved in an extremely professional, yet empathetic manor... they treat you and your dogs like they would want their family and pooches to be treated. If you’re in ATL and looking for reliable care for your pup where they will be treated with love... I’m telling you go with Bark at the Ark... peace of mind with your babies is priceless.

This place is perfection. After moving to Midtown from Alpharetta, we were really struggling to find a new grooming facility for our sweet girl, Pixie. Several tries at other places, all epic fails. Bark at the Ark gets an A+ from us.The staff is fantastic and friendly. They did an excellent job on the groom. Another thing that impressed me is that there is no nickel and dime set up for add ons like brushing teeth or trimming nails. They do a full service groom, with a set price and there is no beating it! I can promise that. Pixie was very comfortable and didn’t seem stressed or anxious at all. That is a miracle in and of itself and highest priority. 5 Stars and a lot of appreciation for Kay, Brenda and everyone else at Bark!!

Kennel cough. Dropped off a healthy puppy, get back a sick one and he’s coughing as soon as we get home. They made no mention of it, nor took any responsibility. Vet visit cost as much as the boarding.

I'm sure for dogs this place is fine, but if you bring your cat for a grooming, he'll have to listen to dogs barking all day. The groomer did a mostly great job, but I think they had an accident and shaved the whiskers on the left side of my cat's face. No big deal, he's not an outside cat, but I wish they would have been upfront and told me rather than hoping I would not notice. I'll go back again, mostly because it's the only cat Groomers in the area

I am giving a BIG shout out, of sincere appreciation, to the Dog Whisperer, Ms. Kate, the Good Sisters with warm smiles and embracing dispositions; the attentive doctors ... Everyone at Bark at the Ark. Grey, our four legged baby, was groomed on Tuesday (07/24/18). Afterwards, I did not recognize him ,,, neither did our cat! He is so handsome ... superbly beautiful! With all that hair gone, he looks like a young pup; and, he's only 4! Love U all Thank you so much!

Terrible place! I dropped my dog off for grooming at 8:30 in the morning and didn’t get her back until 6:30! I called several times during the day to get an update and they didn’t answer the phone. Finally called one more time and got someone on the phone their excuse was they had too many dogs but that it would of be a couple more hours. Then six came and still no call and they were not answering phone again so I drove up there and all I got was oh sorry we are working on her now we had to many dogs. Finally went to pick her up they cut her too short it doesn’t look even and they go “oh she needs a walk and was a handful” I’ve never had anyone tell me that about my dog I’ve actually got multiple comments about how good she is. I would not recommend this place at all. Very unprofessional and they shouldn’t sechedule so many dogs at once without telling the owner they will have the dog all day.
