Updating since know one has reached out in the slightest about why it was that they wasted my time. Do yourself a favor and do not take your pets to this vet clinic. They couldn’t even be open on time. Not only will they be late for your appointment but when they are late they do not seem to care at all for causing an inconvenience. My babies had an appointment for 8 AM and they didn’t even get the clinic fully open until closer to 8:30 am. No excuse. Having your customers stand out in the cold with their pets because no one is there on time to open the vet clinic is extremely unprofessional. My pets were not even able to get seen that day! Ridiculous.

The doctor and tech were both so very kind and thorough. They took the time to make sure we understood all the issues involved in our little friend and made it clear that we could take as much time as we needed to ask as many questions as we had. The follow-up was impressive as well. We got both text and email follow-ups to make sure that everything was going well and we understood how to administer the medication. On top of that, I was surprised at how affordable they really were.

I moved to the area this past summer and was struggling to find any vets with openings < 30 days out. Thrive came through and I’m so glad they did. I bring my dog (2) and cat (1) and I feel that they are in excellent hands, especially with Dr. Carson. He has worked with me to treat my dog’s anxiety and find what works for her, including doing some research and being thoughtful about exactly what meds are best for her. Plus they are affordable and so easy to schedule appointments with because it’s all online. I’ll be a long time customer and I’m so glad to have found them.

This has nothing to do with the vets at this facility, but everything to do with the other staff. The people at the front desk are rude, unhelpful & act as if they are incompetent. I had an appointment for 11 am yesterday. Got the text confirming & the text to check in. Once I arrived, the lady at the desk was rude and interrupted me with every sentence I said. She said my appointment was canceled due to me not replying to the text & that they could move my appointment to 4. Not sure how I received a text to check in if my appointment was canceled. Nevertheless, I said okay & left. I then get a call from the same rude lady stating that my original appointment was for 4 and that’s the one that’s canceled. She clearly had no idea how to work an appointment system or simple things like the correct tone of an appointment. I also think they’re texting system needs work because I’m not sure how my text shows my appointment for 11, yet they’re system shows it for 4. I asked if I could be seen now since no one was there & she said no, I’ll have to make a whole new appointment. Moral to the story, affordable doesn’t always mean you get the best experience.

I am a new pet owner and the team over at Thrive Edgewood was so helpful and informative. The clinic was very clean and My baby was seen on time at her appointment. I was given great information and recommendations. The Doctor didn’t add on extra charges or suggest things my pup didn’t need just to run the tab up. He gave my pup the best care at the most reasonable price. The receptionist made us feel at home and was so welcoming.

I had an appt for 4:30pm today (12-10-21, annual vaccinations). I walked in w/my dog at at 4:40. Yes- I was 10 minutes late but it was nearly impossible to find a parking spot. I was told that my appt had been canceled. When I inquired why, I was told that they give a 15 minute grace period. I explained that I was only 10 minutes late and that I had responded to all of their texts letting them know that I was in fact otw. They didn’t care. Here’s the thing- I had to leave early from work in order to bring my pup to this appt. The complete disregard that was shown to me is unacceptable. This was my first time trying THRIVE and I will absolutely not be returning. They wasted my time as they were completely unwilling to see my dog- even though I was there BEFORE their 15 min policy. I think they were just overbooked/overwhelmed, and it is a Friday so they likely wanted to go home, but you simply don’t treat customers this way. I live in the neighborhood and would’ve been a customer for life (also have 2 cats). I will not be recommending Thrive to anyone.

This place is amazing! Everyone here was so sweet, and they treated my little lady Vampira so well. I would 100% recommend this location for any of your cats checkup needs as they are true to their word on the $38 "nose-to-tail" appointments, and offer a great variety of affordable options post evaluation. Many thanks to the staff at THRIVE :))

Thrive is very affordable and such a great atmosphere I came in to get my dog shots and was greeted by Joshua he had such a great attitude and spirit also Dr.Carson is one of the best to have he was very gentle and knew exactly what to do when it came to keeping the dog calm for the shots! 5 stars I highly recommend this place!!!

1st puppy raising alone so I had many questions & concerns. Vet tech Joshua & Dr. Rodgers were very polite & informative. I will have to say Vet Tech Joshua went above & beyond with so much necessary information I truly needed & didn't even realize!!! I feel very secure & comfortable taking my new puppy there from now on. Thanks!

Excellent and convenient service! The staff were accommodating, flexible, friendly, and competent. I'm impressed with how productive my visit was. From scheduling to checkout the process was seamless. THRIVE offers contactless options for check-in and payment but without feeling impersonal. Though I filled out my pups intake forms on my phone through their very easy to navigate system, staff members were visible and available to answer questions or just to show my puppy some affection when she felt nervous.

Had a great experience. Brought our dog in for basic vaccines, heartworm, etc kinda stuff. Easily booked the appt online, our wait was short and they were pretty quick with our pup. Everyone was nice and made our dog feel comfortable. The main vet was happy to talk with us and answer any questions. Also the basic exam cost is very good. Don't have experience with them for any major problems, but especially for routine things or small issues, would absolutely come back.

We had a great experience at Thrive today with Dr.Byas ans Vet Tech Joshua! They both were very knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations on our puppies needs. Also the location was super convenient for us because afterwards we were able to grab the new dog food we needed as well. Definitely would recommend

I had the best experience with Joshua who was my dogs vet tech. He was very knowledgeable responsible and responsive. He insured me of every step of the process while they had my dog in their care. I will always choose this location because they are very fast efficient, honest, and they make you feel like family. Joshua made every process that I had Feel like I made the right decision.
