I brought both of my dogs to Dr. Beckman, one with medical issues and both with high anxiety. They did fantastic! The whole process was very smooth, from making the appointment, meeting the doctor, and getting updates while the dogs were getting work done. My pups didnt skip a beat after their procedures, and they clearly felt better after getting their teeth cleaned. I used to be super nervous about the dogs and anesthesia but I have no fear coming to this office. I highly recommend!

Dr. Beckman and his staff are very professional! They give you a smooth, easy to understand breakdown what they'll be doing and what to expect after the procedure.

Our fur baby had to have all his teeth removed due to gum recession. My veterinarian that have used forever recommended Dr Beckman and I'm so he did. Charley, my maltipoo, did extremely well. Annie explained the care he needed post op. He has been great since the procedure. No problems at all. Everything was just as Annie had explained. No surprises.

I looked at the reviews for many other feline dentist and choose AVD due to good reviews and the certifications of Dr Beckman. My kitty has Stomatitis and had to have her teeth out. Obviously we were very concerned. Dr B and Annie set our mind at ease. This is a small and very professional practice. We are very happy with the initial assessment, the explanations of what to expect during recovery and the operation itself. There may be other practices that cost less but I always feel you get what you pay for. I wanted to give my kitty the best. We are very satisfied with all aspects of the procedure and the practice. I highly recommend this group for your dentistry needs.

If you're looking for the very best dental care for your fur baby, look no further! We chose Dr. Beckman based on online reviews and couldn't be happier with the decision. Our Frenchie ended up needing pretty extensive work done but we knew he was in great hands after our initial consultation. Annie was so communicative and helpful throughout the entire process and we're very appreciative of the amazing care they provided from start to finish.

My 10 year old cocker spaniel definitely had some serious teeth issues, and Anne / Dr. Beckman took care of him really well. Several extractions and tissue reconstruction, but he no longer has a bad breath and is eating and chewing perfectly. Great service and education into what they were doing with Lucky, keeping me updated along the way. Very happy with their service.

Our cat Bradley is 7 years old, and he started showing the signs of tooth resorption recently. As he never got dental treatment before, we wanted to make sure we get help from the very best. Then we found Dr. Beckman and Annie. Dr. Beckman seems to be the only board-certified vet oral surgeon in Georgia, so it's really a no brainer. Annie was very kind, accommodating, and responsive throughout the whole process to assure everything goes smoothly. We got very well informed as to Bradley's then-current condition, surgery procedure, potential issues down the road, and after-surgery treatment via consultation along with x-rays. Now Bradley's no longer in pain. We were very happy with the quality service we got and already made another appointment with them for our other cat. You will not regret working with them.

I can only sum up our experience with Dr. Beckman and Annie as superior. Every element was observed in the care for my Baby Girl, friendly, expertise, communication, compassion and trust. I am very thankful we were referred to this amazing team. It made a world of difference in the health and renewed quality of life for Baby Girl. She has started being herself again. I was initially very concerned that Walter (7 y.o. dachshund) would be adversely affected by losing all of his teeth, but he is doing very well. Dr. Beckman and his team were very kind to me (and very patient!). Dr. Beckman assured me Walter would adapt and he was right. I am so pleased this service is available in Atlanta. I honestly wasn't aware a veterinary dental practice existed! I appreciate Dr. Beckman and his team--they are wonderful. They made a potentially very bad experience a breeze! Thanks for being there!

We were very nervous brining in our precious priceless pet! doctor beckman and nurse annie were able to put our fears to the side during our consultation prior to much needed procedures. our lab is 8 years old and handled it better than we did. it was a blessing to work with their staff! we give them top marks and highly recommend them to other pet owners. they really care for your pet. it was a first class experience and they are real experts, so now i understand why our regular vet suggested we go this path. it was worth the money! how often can you say that!

Excellent experience. Annie and Dr. Beckman are great! Extremely nice and great communications. Everything was so professional. I wanted the best for my new adopted dog daughter. I thought she might have a toothache. I learned that Dr. Beckman is the only Vet Dentist and Vet Oral Surgeon in Georgia. I hadn't known that there was a specialty in Vet Dentistry or Oral Surgery before this. Annie is also extremely qualified and experienced specifically in this field. Annie explained everything very thoroughly and patiently prior to the visit. The cost was explained clearly. Dr. Beckman met with me on arrival to discuss my girl's needs. He was very friendly, very nice, and patient. They did a teeth cleaning, full mouth xrays, and exam, which they had previously explained required sedation and intubation. I am grateful they found no problems at all. But I knew if they did, she was in great hands. Dr. Beckman explained that they don't just extract teeth if there is a problem, as many vets do. He said most of the time they are able to save the teeth. They do root canals and crowns, and so much more. I didn't know this existed for a dog. I feel very comfortable with my regular vet, they are great, but in learning that this specialty exists I wanted Dr. Beckman. I go to a dentist, or a specialist when I have a medical problem. I wanted the best for my girl too. I've been contacted several times by Annie after the cleaning to make sure all is ok, which it is. I was emailed a full detailed report. The communications and professionalism has been fantastic. I highly recommend them.

This was our first time visiting a veterinary dentist. I was thoroughly impressed with the entire office. Anne was very calming and helpful, Dr. Beckman was extremely informative, friendly and reassuring. Highly recommended to anyone whose furry family members need care.

We were referred to Dr. Beckman and Anne by our main vet and it could not have gone better! I was beyond nervous when I was told my dog has cracked teeth with root exposure that would need specialist attention. I am obsessed with her and couldn't fathom the idea of something being potentially dangerous to her health and so we were going only going to go to the best we could. Our experience was quick, easy, we were provided with options, given kind and honest advice regarding treatment, and left very satisfied. Our little girl is all better and we are so relieved!! I recently took my cat Schroeder in for treatment of a resurgence of stomatitis that had been dormant for several years. He received excellent, thoughtful care. Both Dr. Beckman and Annie have been personable, responsive, and helpful throughout the process, which I have really appreciated!

My vet recommended Dr Beckman for dental issues with my mother’s dog he was unable to do. The whole experience was great. Annie was very nice and she took the time to always answer all my questions. Itsy was taken care of during the Covid craziness and I was so thankful that they were able to do this and not have to postpone her procedure to a later date. Would recommend!! I can never thank Dr. Brett Beckman and staff enough for their professional dental care for my german shepherd, Simba, 11 yrs and my brother's doberman, Tasha, 2 yrs. I felt as confident with their team as I do for my own personal dental care team. They scheduled both dogs on the same day since we had such a long drive and we were able to get them home same day. When I discovered my girl, Lana, had a fractured tooth, I panicked and called vets around. I talked to Annie, who explained everything thoroughly and communicated with me multiple times prior to our visit. She was also patient with me being indecisive on what to do with Lana. We are so glad we had Lana taken care of by Annie and Dr. Beckman. Super professional and communicative and we got Lana’s teeth taken care of with no complications or issues. Annie was also very prompt in helping us get the necessary documents for our pet insurance claim. Thank you again for taking care of Lana!!

Annie Mills and Dr Beckman met with me in advance of my pup's procedure, discussing my dog's dental needs from what could be seen by X-ray and letting me know there was still the possibility of encountering something different once the procedure was underway. I was impressed with their experience, attention, care and professionalism. I was given a cost estimate upfront that I thought included the possible more extensive work if it was determined to be necessary. As a result I was a little taken aback when the final bill was similar to the estimate, though less surgery had been required. Regardless, my dog was in concerned, experienced hands and I was kept up to date on her progress throughout the dental procedure. I'd certainly use Dr Beckman's services in the future if needed.

My cat got a full mouth extraction for Stomatitis and I am thankful to say she has made a complete recovery. No more signs of the disease and she has been able to eat and live a completely normal life on no pain medicine or steroids. Don't hesitate to choose the best possible doctor for your pet. Dr. Beckman is it! And of course Ms. Annie is wonderful as well.

Champ, our recently-rescued 7-year-old blind male boxer, came to us with a severely discolored left lower canine and concomitant foul odor. After our vet examined him, she referred us to a veterinary oral surgeon, as the tooth was fractured …

I was impressed with the time that everyone took with us to make sure that we were in agreement with the course of action. The team also went the extra mile to make sure and let us know that there were other issues that needed to be addressed, when they were encountered them during the surgery. I would definitely recommend this team to take care of those unexpected incidents that require a veterinary surgical solution.

They did a good job the only issue was the quote went from 2800.00 to 3800.00 as my dog was in the procedure. They were nice and discounted it down $200.00 to $3600 and I knew this was going to be expense dental work. Tucker is doing well after having seven teeth removed. He is learning how to eat differently. Dr Beckman and his assistant Annie were very professional and very nice to work with. I would definitely recommand them.

One of our dogs (Mia) had a dental situation that our local vet simply could not handle. They referred us to Dr. Beckman in Atlanta. The doc and Annie did a fantastic job in not only taking amazing care of Mia, but in answering all our questions & concerns. Within just a couple of days after the surgery, Mia seemed her normal self and looking in her mouth you could barely see that any work had even been done. Annie was terrific in following up with us several times after the surgery to check on Mia. These folks are wonderful.

My little Yorkie has been in Kidney failure since she was born (kidney's never fully developed ) Dr. Beckman and his team were the only Vets that said they could clean her teeth with no problem! She was never expected to live past two years .......but now she's six years old, so I knew I had to trust someone. They did a great job, she's doing fine 3 weeks later and I couldn't be happier....they're the Best! I would recommend them to anyone especially if your dog has medical problems!

After original diagnosis, from our vet, for major dental surgery on my 16 lb Boston, Vinnie, , I contacted A.V.D. and spoke with Annie. She was extremely compassionate for my concern of Vinnie going under Anesthesia for this serious …
