I was sent by my ex-primary vet (NOT here) to Blue Pearl on a Friday afternoon due to a urinary tract obstruction in my dog. Setting aside that my ex-primary care vet failed to properly diagnose my dog's condition two weeks prior and after getting quotes from BP for surgical remedy, I called AHoDV because Dr. Washington had provided excellent care for my dogs at the clinic she worked at before coming to AHoDV. Dr. W. was off, but I told Jenny, a customer care rep, the circumstance I was in. Out of the blue and not by my request, I received a call from the vet on duty at AHoDV. She contacted Dr. Washington on her day off, then organized and facilitated a surgery for the following Monday with Dr. Washington. Aside from saving me over $4,500 (yes, you read that right), the care my dog received when I brought her in for her surgery was amazing. The doctors and staff communicated with me well beyond my expectation and kept me abreast of my pet's condition during her entire stay. I simply cannot say enough good things about this clinic, the three veterinarians, and the support staff that I dealt with on this occasion. I have to drive an additional 45 minutes to use AHoDV but I won't be using another clinic in Atlanta aside from them. I would highly recommend this facility for both routine visits or should your pet require more advanced attention.

Our cat had a rather unusual affliction - Dr. Ellerin was awesome. She took care of him and worked systematically to determine his ailment. Despite social distancing requirements, she provided is with additional resources to make sure we monitor him at home. Excellent communication and our cat is much happier.

The receptionist was helpful in helping me to get started with vet services for my 15 year old cat. The veterinarian and her staff told me about new developments in nutrition that could be helpful.

I always recommend my vet office to others- love them! I was bringing my pets to them before Dr. Brown bought the practice, and they have only gotten better since then. They gave me options and referrals when I needed it for an aging dog. And when it was her time to leave us, they gave me every comfort and support. Now, they’re helping me to keep my 2 older cats happy and healthy as they face the challenges of aging. They give me options, but never pressure me to do more than I’m comfortable with. And every time I call, they know me and my pets by name! With so many patients, that’s impressive. They’re not just my vet office, they are my friends.

My dog Katy has had a skin condition which caused her a great deal of itching and discomfort. Under Dr. Washington's care, her itching stopped, her hair has grown back and she is her old self. I want to thank Dr. Washington for all she has done for us. Katy is so much happier.

We have been using this Vet service for 18 Years, formally Village Animal. This is our second Dog that goes there. Great Staff, Dr. Brown, Dr. Evelyn, Linda in the Front Office and others. Always a great experience, very responsive and professional. Please note that in these times of Covad, it takes longer for some tasks as they take extra protection and steps to ensure everyone is safe. If you need a Vet, please give them a chance to earn your business.

My pets have been patients of Animal Hospital of Dunwoody Village, formally known as Village Animal Clinic since they first opened their doors almost 40 years ago. My family would trust no other Vegetarian clinic for our furry family members and we highly recommend AHDV to anyone looking for top notch service, doctors and staff. Thank you for the many years of great care you've provided through the sad and happy times in our pets lives. Mindy Hamburger Godwin

Doctor took time to explain a problem my cat has with her teeth and why this clinic takes the approach they do as compared to others available. The approach seemed very logical and conservative - and as a result also likely to save me money. I love my pets, but dang, health problems can get SO expensive! I'm happy that the new management seems to be continuing the Village Animal Clinic approach of offering the options and explaining the costs rather than simply using the most expensive analysis available - especially when learning the results isn't going to change the treatment one whit. I am in the medical field and appreciate what available technology can do, but if giving the intended treatment to see if it works is what you would do with or without some fancy test, why say the test is mandatory? Thanks Animal Hospital team!

My dog has been coming here for a while, but had some issues with a surgery so he needed to go back 3 mornings in a row to get antibiotics.

I went to this clinic for the past 20 years. It was recently sold to new ownership who nickels and dimes you. They have turnover with their doctors and it's not longer the great place it was. My most recent experience was bringing in our cat for a checkup and a month later they won't approve ordering revolution medicine and are asking us to come in for another checkup a month later. This place sticks!! Never going back.

This used to be an excellent animal clinic, but unfortunately it is run like a business now. They showed absolutely no warmth or compassion for your pet. Its all about the $$$$ and they certainly know how to up the costs !!!! I would not recommend taking your pet here.

I have been using this vet for years but wasn't until this past year that I have really been able to appreciate the service, kindness and patience the entire team there has had for myself and my pets. Dealing with aging pets is challenging and sad. Everyone there has been so helpful and compassionate and thorough explanations of treatment plans have been given.

We have been going to Village Animal, now Dunwoody Animal Hospital for over 15 Years. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The service has been great for our Pets. We would recommend you give them a try if you are looking for a Vet for your favorite pet. Dr. Brown is wonderful.

A go to for anything related to my furry kids. The doctors are very kind, genuine and honest. We had had great experiences with a cat and a dog. Both are prone to breed related issues and they always help us get back on track.

We had to take Simon in to be put to eternal rest last Friday. He had a wonderful life of 19 and a half years but he couldn't walk anymore and his quality of life was not good. These guys took good care of him in life and they took good care of him in death. It was heartbreaking to lose a dear family member, but Dr. Brown and her staff made it as painless as possible for Simon and also for us. Rest in peach old friend.

I have been coming here since our cats were born over 10 yrs plus. They changed owners/vets. They were nice and helpful today but definitely pricey. We got an Xray and blood work and paid $350. If on a budget you may want to look elsewhere.

Overall good experience with vet and staffs are very friendly. 1 star deduct for a lot of add-on additional charge but they are not super expensive side considering the area they serve here.

We have used Village Animal Clinic for years across two different dogs and a cat. They are super friendly, professional and treat all pets as if they were their own. The Dr's are amazing and very kind. We had a crisis where we had to (sadly) euthanize a beloved older dog and they handled it so well and were so kind to me and my kids during this difficult time. I highly recommend Village Animal Clinic!
