I’ve always had great experiences with Good Hands and have always used them for my pets. They are upfront about their costs, options, and very clear on diagnosis/options. Staff has always been friendly and informative!

Good Hands came highly recommended by our friends with fur babies. The experience we’ve had has been wonderful. The entire team goes above and beyond caring for our girl Patty!

I took my new puppy to be checked. They were very sweet to my Charlie but also supportive of me being a new fur baby mama. It’s been 17 years so there’s a lot I forgot!

We followed our favorite groomer, Brody, to Good Hands and have had wonderful experiences with the staff—albeit limited due to COVID-19 protocols—in person and over the phone. It’s a little pricey for a groom in the Athens area ($100 for a medium sized standard poodle, groomed like the photo), but we’re happy to support Brody and Good Hands! Very high quality grooms!! Brody does really good color work, too. I rely on a professional groomer to quickly, effectively, and safely pluck my dogs’ ears (non-shedding breed) since I cannot do them well myself, but Brody has been unable to because my dogs tend to be dramatic and the staff doesn’t fully understand that their yelping is not necessarily a response to pain. :/ So he does his best to shave out and trim the ear hairs, but my dogs are prone to getting bad build up and the plucking is necessary to prevent infections. EDIT (Nov 2021): at their most recent groom, Brody was able to pluck their ears and clean them out! Thank you SO SO much! Overall, I trust Brody to take the best care of my dogs and know when they need a break or when it’s time to move on, as he’s been our go-to groomer for 4 years and very open about any challenges he encounters that may impact the final cut. I communicate with Brody directly to provide details of the grooms, and that has worked out great to ensure the perfect cut!! The bandanas are a nice touch, and they got a cute gift bag around the holidays :-) it’s the little things that make a big impact! Thanks for always taking great care of them!

Dr. Falany and Nicole were AMAZING with my sweet Mattie girl! She is 16 years old and they assured me that I'm doing everything right to keep her comfortable in her old age! Dr. Falany is super easy to talk to and is so patient when it comes to answering my 1000+ questions :) Highly recommend!

Great vet. You can tell they actually love the animals and are very thorough with the check ups. The only negative is the pricing is higher than some of the other vets in the area.

I researched a few vets before choosing Good Hands. It’s important to me that a vet and their team understand the caliber of care I expect for my Great Dane. I’m very happy with my choice choosing Good Hands. Vet was very thoughtful and caring, answered questions, never made me feel rushed, examined my Lila thoroughly, and performed test requested that gave me comfort and peace of mind.

Good Hands took care of my previous cat and now my current adopted shelter cat. I have been very pleased with all the veterinarians I’ve encountered at Good Hands and the staff is friendly and accommodating as well. I highly recommend ~

This place is full of kind and knowledgeable pet caregivers! They take the time to really make your pet comfortable, get to know their needs, and speak with their "parents" about possible care plans. This place is definitely Honey and Cinnamon approved!

I can’t say enough about how awesome the staff is at Goodhands. They have so much patience answering all my questions and when my dog was really sick last year they were amazing. They made sure to check in and see how she was doing.

We’ve been bringing our pets to Good Hands for many years. I wouldn’t trust them to anyone else. They’ve been there for us through good times and bad. Monica Kucher treated our very sick pup, Bailey, and helped us keep him around for a number of years. When Bailey died and a new pup, Charlie, joined the family, our first visit was to Good Hands to get him checked out. These are very special people. I trust them to take the best care possible of my little guys and they never disappoint.

The vets, techs and staff have always been compassionate, loving and wonderful to my many pets. I can not imagine taking them anywhere else for their medical needs.

I used Brody for grooming but KIM the lady who makes appointments is LIAR and the most UNPROFESSIONAL DISHONEST DISRESPECT PERSON I HAVE DEALED WITH... I DONT CARE HOW GREAT HE CUTS DOGS HAIR..I WILL W NEVER GO TO GOOD HANDS. THE MANAGER IS NOT ANY BETTER.

Good Hands has taken care of my sweet standard poodle for almost three years now. Any time I have gone in for a check up or a pressing health issue they have kindly addressed every concern and made sure my dog felt comfortable. As a dog parent, I’m so happy to know that each vet is more than happy to answer all my questions about my dogs health and lifestyle. Not only is this location equipped with a stellar veterinary medical staff but it has excellent grooming services available as well. I’m thankful to have Good Hands when my dog needs a check up, when she has an upset tummy, and even when she eats something funny at the park; no matter what I know that my vets office is just a quick phone call away.
