I had a very unique situation going on with my puppy and the staff was extremely understanding and made me feel comfortable. I do not normally come to this vet clinic but I would highly recommend them after the experience I had with all of the staff!

Hope Animal Medical Center has taken care of our dog and 2 cats for the last 3 years. The staff have been compassionate and helpful and truly seem to enjoy and care about our pets. One of our cats and our dog were senior pets. As their quality of life deteriorated we struggled with the final decision to let them go. Everyone was supportive. When the time came they thoroughly explained the process, stayed with us and even grieved with us. I can’t explain what that meant to us. We now have a newly adopted dog and they were our first stop to ensure she will be a healthy girl.

Great place to take your pets. Professional, knowledgeable, thorough and kind. Provided us with feeding recommendations to keep our 13 year old Lab healthy, trim and active.

My dog has been very sick with an acute illness. Drs Clirton and Duncan could not have been more caring or thorough. Ari, the vet tech was extremely caring and helpful! Eli has a new best friend!

It's hard to write a balanced review when I take my 2 cats one day out of the whole year (usually) but I've had overall positive experiences at Hope for the past few years. I think in the future I will not choose a Friday morning to take my cats to the vet... Maybe it was just an exceptionally hectic Friday morning, but the techs and the Dr were very stressed and frantic, and I just felt like I was taking up their time by asking extra questions out of concern for my cats' health. I worked at a vet for years, so I do understand, but stress rubs off on the clients. One positive for today is that Dr. Clifton told me about Hope's online pharmacy. The prices matched to Chewy's (unlike their in-clinic prices) so this will save me lots of $$ and help me avoid quality concerns from Chewy that Dr. Clifton shared with me today. Also, FYI -- they do offer 3yr rabies vax as an option, just make sure to ask for it at the start of the appointment :) Today was a rating of 4 but averaging it with my other experiences, it's still a 5 from me. Edited to add: their app PetDesk was also super convenient for making appointments!

My cats and I have been clients here ever since I moved to Athens 3 years ago and I am so glad I found this clinic. The staff and the care that my boys receive is outstanding. Very kind, very personable, very knowledgeable. They remember me and my cats every time we go and I think it is very important to build that repotoire in order for my cats to receive the best care. One of my cats is problematic at the vet and he still receives great care. If you have an emergency and they are open, they make it a priority that your pet is seen as soon as possible, I was able to bring mine in right as I called. Very reasonable prices too. They don't try to charge you crazy or force you to do expensive treatments so they can make money and they always ask if you are working with any financial restraints so that they can keep it mind when treating your pet. I truly recommend this vet to literally anyone I met that has pets. I'd give them more stars if I could! They are like family!

The staff at Hope Animal Medical Center are absolutely amazing….professional, kind, compassionate and go way beyond to provide superb care for my dogs. I just retired from human medicine so my bar is VERY high. They have totally exceeded my expectations. The BEST veterinary practice you could ever choose for your pets.

In all of the many years that's I've been a pet owner, Hope has been the very best vet clinic I've ever used. I love that everyone there is always so friendly and they are so sweet to my furbaby. I have 100% confidence knowing that they are taking the best care of my furbaby. Their knowledge, care, advice and treatments are always top dog!!

We love Hope Animal Medical Center! We were new to Athens a few years ago and asked around to find a good vet for our pups. Our friends recommended Hope and we have not been disappointed. They take such good care of our dogs. They are always responsive. All of the techs are helpful and hardworking, the receptionist is always kind and eager to help too, and the vets are so knowledgeable. We use their convenient app, PetDesk, for all of our appointment bookings (which are often with a new puppy!). They also offer “happy visits” which are meant to calm pets nerves at the vet. We’ve been bringing our nervous pup weekly for happy visits to hang out with the staff and get lots of treats and she’s no longer scared of the vet. Highly recommend letting HAMC take care of your pets!

Hope Animal took our dog in immediately when we had an issue, even though we had just moved to town. The Vet called us and gave us details and choices and spent a lot of time with us. She even was on top of her other issues including diabetes and had concerns with her current treatment.This was so helpful and we had never gotten this response from our previous vet of 10+ years. I am looking forward to using this practice for all 3 of my pets and I know they will get excellent treatment.

My pets Motlee and Crewe like going to see their friends at Hope Animal Medical Center. One reason they like going is because they feel like they are the most important pups there. They love the attention, pets, and treats they receive. They have received expert treatment ranging from the typical vet exams to dental work, surgical procedures, xrays, ultrasounds, acupuncture, grooming, boarding, and Motlee is presently getting cold laser therapy treatments for her aches and pains. Not only are the vets top notch I have also been pleased with the treatment and care my pets have receive from the vet technicians, technician assistants, and kennel technicians. They have all been very kind and professional with my pets. Let’s face it the first impression you get of a business are the ladies who man the front desk—the client care associates who often have to deal with all types of customers. Hope Animal Medical Clinic has the best. As is obvious my pets and I are very pleased with Hope Animal Medical Clinic.

I took my baby, Sir Doodle Bug, to be neutered here. They answered all of my questions and didn't treat me like a crazy pet parent when I called to check on him. Wonderful staff.

We moved to Athens in 2016 with two older dogs and selected Hope to be our vet. The doctors and staff took care of our beloved Murray and Sophie during their last days. They always explained why they recommended meds or procedures clearly to me and I was sure that we were giving them the best care. Dr. Clifton especially displayed expertise and loving kindness during some hard days. They have my loyalty and I highly recommend them to anyone searching for a new veterinarian. We came to Hope after a visiting another practice with our young puppy. Five years later and we've never looked back! The entire staff at Hope is caring and compassionate while providing top level service. Even our pup gets excited when we pull up to the practice!

We bring all of our companions here (4 dogs (formerly 5) and 1 kitty) for their excellent care. Dr. Jenny is a wonderful healer and her staff is fantastic. Leah makes us feel like family when we call. Our girl Daisy absolutely LOVES coming to Hope. You would think she's going to a party vs the doctor. :-) We truly appreciate the compassion and competency that our loved ones receive here.

We are new to Athens and Piper, our 8 year old Sheltie, had his first visit with Dr. Sarah Clifton at Hope Animal Medical Center this week. The entire office staff was welcoming and informative. Dr. Clifton gave a thorough exam and offered several recommendations for providing the very best pet care for Piper. We are in good hands!

I’d like to thank Hope for their diligence and sense of urgency when it came to the care of my pup NALA. She came in with parvo symptoms and Nicole Laws jumped right on it. Gave her the parvo test and a fecal test to check for worms. Turns out she had both so she ended up staying for the week. I’d also like to thank Cheyenne, Ginger, and Amy for also lending a hand when it came to NALAs care. She back with me and I’ll be watching her closely thanks to Nicole for showing me how to administer her medicine. Again thank you Hope, I will be sure to recommend your center to others.

The staff at hope are simply amazing. My pup Meli is 80 lbs and has had a hard time getting out of the car, they are always gentle to carry her off the car and take her inside. This past visit, we were not sure what was wrong with her, but the Vet took the time to receive my phone call, tell me exactly what was going on, and was willing to go above and beyond to help her, sending her xrays to a consult for free. I cannot recommend Hope highly enough. They are and have been simply the best since I've been in Athens.

Continually impressed by these guys! I have a rescue kitty and have had to treat multiple issues that have arisen. HOPE has consistently been a professional and kind support! They’ve written prescriptions same day and never done any procedure that I wasn’t comfortable with. They truly want what’s best for your pet and have completely affordable rates. Highly recommend!
