If you live in the Athens area and you have a pet, take them here. I interacted with three different clinic staff and each and every one of them were kind and seemed happy and eager to help. Dr. Harriet Daugherty was the kindest and most informative doctor I’ve ever seen, and that includes my own people doctors! My dog seemed like he actually enjoyed his visit to the vet, so I truly cannot recommend this place enough!

Two stray kittens landed in my boyfriend and I's lap. We took them to Boulevard Animal Hospital, because they were the only vet that could take the kittens in ASAP. They have become the biggest blessing in our lives. One of the kittens, unfortunately, did not make it and the entire staff mailed us a card with words of encouragement on it. The other kitten, Athena, recently turned 3 months old. Boulevard Animal Hospital has become a second home to our sweet Athena and they are just as crazy about her as we are. I highly recommend this animal hospital.

It came time to say goodbye to my sweet senior cat, and during the pandemic, I was looking for someplace where I could be with him in his final moments. By that point Boulevard Animal Hospital was actually not allowing owners inside the building during most appointments, but allowed me to be with him to say goodbye. Not only that, but all the staff I encountered were so caring and kind, and helped me feel reassured about the decision I had to make for my boy. It may seem strange to leave a glowing review about a heartbreaking day, but that is what an impact the hospital staff made-- they helped it be a slightly less-awful day than it might have been. When it comes time for my remaining cat's next vet appointment, I am going to see about switching him over to here, because it is clear that everyone who works there really cares about animals, making sure owners are informed to make decisions for their pets' well-being, and values the bond between pets and their people.

Just got a puppy and she had worms. They were so kind to fit her in and get her checked out really fast.

If you want a trusting and loving vet office look no further. Dr. Howard is the best in the business as far as I'm concerned. Thank you guys so much for all your help with our furry children.

The best vet I’ve ever been to. They were so kind and caring and really listened to you when you talk about your precious baby. They make sure you have everything you need and even listened to me when I said I couldn’t afford some pricier items they suggested and so they adjusted accordingly for me. Could not thank them or recommend them enough!

I was very pleased with The Boulevard Animal Hospital. Although my cat was very anxious about the visit, the staff acted very professional and put forth their best effort to make him as comfortable as possible.

I've been taking my pets to Boulevard since 2013. Dr. Howard has seen both my cats and my dog through all their check-ups and ailments, over the years, and my dog actually gets EXCITED to go to the vet. She performed a tough amputation surgery on my cat, who I was about to have put down, and the amputation was not only SUCCESSFUL, but he is a happy and healthy senior cat, today. The staff tends to be not so tactful at times, and often young amateur UGA students. However, I still give this places ☆☆☆☆☆ because of the care and gentleness shown, over 6 years, towards my fur babies. And because Dr. Howard is a true-hearted, honest, doctor who isnt out to gouge your wallet. She always has the animals' best interest in mind.

The staff were unbelievably professional, friendly, well trained, attentive, and receptive. My dog is 11 years old this year, and even though we've moved no less than 7 times, with new vets every time (sometimes more than one person move), this was by far the best vet she and I both have ever been to. I have every intention of treating my animals there in the future.

The techs here are very friendly and really know both the animals and their owners. The vet is not only efficient and knowledgeable, but she also is very sensitive to how hard the situation may be on the owner both emotionally and financially. Overall, I trust that pets coming here are getting the best care possible.

This place is awesome! My dog had never been to the vet before and they made her feel calm and relaxed. You could tell they really care about the dogs and make you feel welcome. Definitely going back in the future.

I made the switch to Boulevard from another veterinary hospital in town about a year ago when my dog had an allergic reaction to her internal spay stitches. Boulevard went above and beyond with pain management, and she healed quickly and comfortably. Since then, I've been consistently impressed with how knowledgeable the staff are. They are friendly and answer all of my questions; it is clear that they are following new scientific publications. They have been excellent about fitting us in for appointments and the prices are comparable to most clinics. I highly recommend Boulevard.

This clinic really cares about your animal! Dr. Howard is amazing, and so is every single last person I've worked with here over the last 6 years with my dog Gigi. If you need a vet in Athens, you can't go wrong with Blvd Animal Hospital.

The vets here are incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable. After a disappointing visit to another vet, we were absolutely floored with the difference in treatment given to us here. It was like night-and-day. We never felt rushed, even though it was so late already. Procedures were explained to us in detail before going ahead and applying it. Questions were answered in full. This dog is reactive and terrified of vets but everything was handled professionally and humanely. Thank you so much Ellie and staff for your kindness towards Happy. Thank you for making time for us even on short notice. You were not afraid to give us honest options and opinions even when the outlook was grim, and we can make a better decision for her because of it. I only accompanied Happy and her owner...but I was touched with how this place treated both of them. I'll be bringing my own dog to Boulevard from now on. Amazing!
