We have been clients of Veterinary Medical Center for almost 30 years. Drs. Joe Gaston, his family of vets, Dr. Tigyi and Dr. Furgeson are all amazing. They have seen us through raising puppies, sad partings, wellness and illness and they are always knowledgeable, caring and empathetic. They have always given us the best advice and I trust them wholeheartedly with my dogs. As a side note, if you're a German shepherd owner, so is Dr. Joe and he is an expert. He has taught me so much over the years about the breed, their characteristics and their health concerns. Oh, and the staff is incredible too. There are people on staff at VMC who have been there since before we were clients...so 30+ years. That also tells you a great deal about the practice and how well it is run.

We have been taking our pets to VMC for over 20 years. Every visit, whether routine or urgent, is always met by friendly staff...who talk to and engage with my pet as much as they to do us. We have called other places over the years to ensure we are also getting a good value for our great care - and VMC offers excellent service for a very good price.

Been using them for the last 15 years. NONE BETTER. They care about your loving pet.

I recently moved back to Alpharetta from Orange County, CA and needed to find a Clinic that was caring, professional and friendly. Everyone from all the veterinarians to the staff have gone above and beyond for my 4 year old Goldendoodle. They truly have compassion and love for all the animals. Their hours are great too and are open on the weekends! I highly recommend this Clinic and would give them 10 stars ⭐️ If I could.

I took my dog Shanty to the emergency in a critical condition, in less that 20 minutes doctor and technician gave me with a diagnosis. She had to stay for 2 days and received a high quality treatment, a doctor was with her all time. Thanks to them my dog is still alive.

This has been our go to vet for many years. They have seen our German Shepherds from 8 weeks old through the end of life and have always been the best every step of the way. If you have an emergency, they will fit you right in. I would never go to another vet for my dogs.

We've been bringing our dog to Veterinary Medical Center for 5 years, and have always been pleased with the care he receives there. From annual shots, to allergy treatment, to the care required after a snake bite, the staff takes good care of our sweet dog.

Dr.Ferguson answered all our questions and gave us good advice when we took Ripley, our 3 year old British shorthair cat for an exam. Arielle is very knowledgeable, professional, gentle and patient in handling Ripley which made makes us confident that Ripley's getting the best care. We're happy to find Ripley a good veterinarian! My animals have always received the utmost best care at, Veterinary Medical Center. The staff demonstrates a kindness that is felt by the pets, and their owners!

I have been going to VMC for the last two years. All the staff have been wonderful to talk to, and they do not recommend unnecessary procedures. I recommend them to everyone I know who has a dog or cat. I sadly lost my dog recently to cancer, and they made the experience much more bearable. When I eventually get another dog, I will definitely be going back to VMC.

We brought our cat there after seeing another vet. The other vet had diagnosed her with sterile cystitis for bloody urine and thought that her cloudy eyes was from glaucoma. She had stopped eating for the last two days and so we were concerned with something beyond just a urinary tract infection or bladder issue. Dr. Gaston did an examination on her and within five minutes had a diagnosis of cancer. he spent a lot of time discussing treatment possibilities and how much we would be looking at in terms of cost and long-term prognosis. He was very honest with us and did not do more than he felt was necessary in terms of testing. In the end, we chose to go with the option of putting her down, since she was so far advanced in her cancer stage. All of the staff were very compassionate and gave me time with her before they put her down. It was the best experience anyone could ever ask for, and I highly recommend them for you sick or terminally ill pet.

We always board our standard poodle here and are very satisfied with care he receives. It is reassuring to have a veterinarian on site and the one time he had a medical issue they were quick to identify and treat, all the while keeping us informed of what was happening and how he was doing.

I took my dog BB on a Sunday opting for a less expensive option than the ER. I was shocked to find that I only had to wait 5 minutes and Dr. Joe Was already in our room. I thought it was a mistake and we were in someone else’s room! After the exam and a brief discussion with Dr. Joe I learned that they always try to keep the wait time to a minimum and his philosophy is “put the patient first, the paperwork will wait”! I work in healthcare and I WISH human patients got this level of care. Amazing care, amazing clinic, and we were out in less than 45 minutes. I see why they have such high reviews! Kind, caring, compassionate people! They really take the time to answer every question and address every concern without making you feel rushed! I love that they are open one Saturday and Sunday as well!

The Veterinary Medical Center is excellent in all categories. I feel very comfortable knowing that my pet will always get the best care possible. Appointments are easy to schedule for vet care as well as boarding. Their hours of operation meet my needs. They all do a great job.

We've been going to Veterinary Medical Center for a few years now because we have 2 greyhounds and Dr. Joe Gaston is knowledgeable about all the unusual medical characteristics of this breed. We love that they are open 7 days a week and are quick to get us in when we need them.

I don’t even know where to start, this place is amazing ???? we brought a stray cat in that has now become part of the family and the whole staff including Dr. Gaston were so caring. We felt so comfortable putting our cat KitKat in their care. So blessed and thankful for the experience we will definitely be coming here from now on, and our future animals too. We went to Veterinary Medical Center with an emergency situation. They were able to see our dog and provide a prognosis quickly and efficiently. Dr. Tigyi completed the surgery to remove a sock our dog had decided was a suitable snack within two ours of us arriving. The entire staff has been super helpful and communicative whenever I had follow up questions regarding aftercare. Koda is super happy to be home and resting.

This clinic isn't fancy on the outside, but don't be fooled by appearances. Dr Joe and his staff are the best and the care they give your pets is the BEST. They care about you and your pets and have all of the diagnostic equipment and expertise necessary to treat your fur babies. As a Nurse Practitioner; I am hypersensitive to quality medical care and I trust this practice.

Hands down, the best group of veterinarians in all of Georgia!. I would never go anywhere else!
