Really great vet, incredibly compassionate, patient, clean, and thorough. I have 2 cats personally, one of which is incredibly anxious, and they always treat my pets with so much care. Even when my cat makes a mess in his carrier, they're kind and helpful. My mom also uses this vet, and the love and care they showed when our 17 year old dog passed really helped the process. If I can, I will always go to them for my pet's healthcare.

Little River Animal Hospital is amazing!! I have been taking my cat & dog to them for the past 4 years. They are caring, compassionate & give top notch care! They take such great care of my pets that even though we’ve moved 40 minutes away, I still take my arthritic, senior cat to see them bc he gets such great care there!! I took my 2 cats in to get rabies shots because I was moving out of state in two days. The charged each cat $35 for an over the counter supplement that they didn't currently have in stocks but said would be delivered the next day. It wasn't delivered and I was moving on October 25th. On the 24th, the medication still hadn't been delivered. Yesterday, November 8th I called & asked if they could send me a check for $70 bc the debit card I had used to pay for it had been misplaced & I had gotten a new one. The person who took my call said she'd have to get back to me & hasn't. Who charges someone twice for something that wasn't even in stock? I'm still waiting for a call back.

When my dog passed a couple of months ago, the entire Little River staff was so compassionate and caring and just wonderful during a horrible experience. I can't thank them enough for that. Dr. Kraft treats several of my other dogs and I could not be more pleased. They even made immediate arrangements to see my pet as an emergency! Great care, great staff, great Veterinary.

Always available for questions, helped our elderly dog’s last days comfortable. Great with our cats as well. Dr Kraft has the best heart for animals, treats them as they were her own.

I moved near Little River a few years ago, but still kept driving back to our old vet until my dog was bitten on the snout by a copperhead and my vet did not have the ant-venin, but Little River did. They were AWESOME! So good that I changed vets to Little River and am so happy I did. Dr’s McFarland, Kraft and Sumner are all wonderful doctors, caring and compassionate.

Little River is one of the best animal hospitals around. Dr Kraft is the best and all the techs and staff are friendly and very helpful.

We are new to the area, and decided to bring our 4 dogs into Little River Animal Hospital. I could talk about the fact that we waited forever to be seen on several occasions, but the bigger issue is what happened recently. We have a 230 pound mastiff who had Panosteitis as a puppy ( a bone condition that causes pain and lameness in large breed dogs). This was diagnosed through referral to a specialty hospital from our previous vet. He has had continual lameness, so we returned to that specialty hospital and he was diagnosed with arthritis which was likely a residual effect of the Panosteitis. Because of this, our dog has flare ups, during which he is in a lot of pain with extreme lameness. We have been prescribed a pain medication as needed through our previous vet without issues, however Little River Animal Hospital continually denies our Chewy order for his pain medication. I have gone in person to explain the situation,. and was told they would get the records from the specialty hospital to confirm diagnosis and approve the prescription, but they continue to deny it. Upon calling, yet again, the person who answered the phone (Meagan, I think) was extremely rude an argumentative telling me we needed to bring him in to be diagnosed again by Little River Animal Hospital. I explained that he had to go to a specialty hospital (WHICH HE ALREADY DID) with special technology to get this diagnosis, but it seems they just wanted me to jump through more hoops, binging him. in so they can bill me for useless visit just to watch him limp. Meanwhile, our baby is in pain some days, unable to walk up and down our stairs. We have decided to take all 4 of our dogs to another vet highly recommended by our neighbors. I Really don't need the aggravation. Highly recommend going elsewhere, where the staff are considerate of. your pets welfare and comfort.

I love how well me and my dog were treated. Very respectful clinic and I will come back again for sure.

All of the staff at this veterinarian office is caring and thorough. Dr. Kraft is the absolute best and makes everything better! If you want a place with considerate and loving people for you and your fur babies, this is it!

My dog Duffie went in for a eukaryotic overgrowth (ok it was ringworm) on her nose and Dr. Kraft took excellent care of her. Duffers is good as new now. Best of all, I felt completely comfortable during the appointment due to the wonderful staff and the safety precautions taken during these uncertain times. LRAH is simply the best.

Little River is a fantastic place to take your pets. The doctors and technicians do a great job and really care. We’ve taken our pets there for over 16 years. Highly recommend!

Horrible communication. We brought our older cat in because we thought he may have a broken leg. The vet ordered xrays and blood work and then after the fact gave a $600 bill with no prior discussions. Finding a new place to take our animals.

We brought our Yorkie here the day we picked him up from the breeder and have been extremely pleased. Clean facility. Loving and kind staff. Attentive doctors. Great grooming. We highly recommend!

Excellent Grooming. I have a blind, senior rescue dog and it is a major challenge getting him groomed. He's very scared and many places could not groom him. At Little River, he comes back looking great and not traumatized in the least. I drive past many groomers that are located near my home to take him there and we are both the happier for it.

Avoid this Vet! All they care about is money. My dog had chronic ear infections and a skin condition. Nothing helped him, so they just kept giving him $$$$$ medication on top of medication, and at only 7 years old my beloved dog died after they gave him an oral medication on top of all the other ones he was taking. Of course they do not take any responsibility for his death.

Love the doctors here. Always so nice and really care for my animals. Everyone is so pleasant and treats us like family.

I just love this veterinarian facility. The staff and doctors are ALL extremely knowledgable and very willing to listen and help with any problem or situation, small or large, you might have with your pet.
