We have been taking our animals to Dr. Lafferty for over 3 decades. The staff, the doctors, and the facility are all top notch. I love that Dr. Lafferty talks to and treats my pets as if they are his own. He is always taking time to snuggle my animals, talk to them, and ask how my family is doing. He is the ABSOLUTE best and Dr. Bowes is an excellent addition to the team. We've enjoyed getting to know him the last few years as well and say the same glowing praise for him also! You cannot go wrong at Lafferty Animal Clinic.

I can’t express how great of a guy Dr.Lafferty and his team are. I came to them to get a second opinion on my dogs itching and I will now ONLY come here. They answered so many of our problems with our dog in just 1 hour. I am so thankful for this place and want to thank everyone who works here.

My family has been going to Lafferty Animal Clinic for around 20 years now and we have always had the best experience. This past week our two dogs got in to a bottle of ibuprofen and we got them to the clinic immediately. They were given the best care and we were kept up to date on their progress the whole time. This isn't my regular vet, but only because it's pretty far from my house. In the past few years, there have been two times that my regular vet has been closed or booked and Lafferty has been able to take my cats on short notice--once for an injured leg, and more recently for a facial lesion. The staff have been kind and friendly, which was especially helpful when I was frantically trying to find a vet with an open appointment, and I have been extremely happy with the care my pets have received, even though they're not regular clients. If I lived closer, this would be my regular vet for sure.

I have been taking my cats to this clinic for almost 15 years and I will not use anyone else. Even tried a few others and came right back to Dr Lafferty's Clinic. They are there for the pets and owners.

Recently moved to the area & looking for a Great vet. Found one in Lafferty Animal Clinic. Trustworthy & not pushing procedures , medicine on you. Hank & Zeke (cats) are happy!

I know everyone has something positive to say. I did at first because they are super friendly and loving, but the reality is they take far too long to do check-ups which is terrible when you are there with multiple pets (and kids). But my biggest issue with them is that they are terrible with writing scripts for heartworm & flea prevention. 1) they don't work with outside companies like 1800 ped meds so I have to get a script and mail it it. That's fine, but they wrote the incorrect script multiple times causing my dogs to be delayed on getting their meds (big issue). 2) this process went on for a while and finally I get the right script but it's for 6 months vs. 12 months and they won't change it (causing more delays). The reasoning they say they won't fix it is because in 8 months from now they are due for a check-up so now I'm forced to come in sooner with both dogs because they can't do their job properly. Don't waste your time dealing with the BS there. It's not worth the hassle. If you're busy like me with work, kids (we have 4), pets (we have 3) and extracurricular activities then AVOID this place. I have found there are other very friendly vets that don't charge as much and are not wasting my time like this one.

We've been to other vets in the area but always come back to Lafferty. He provides excellent care and is clearly very knowledgeable and he combines this well with simple practicality. When one of our former cats was 12 and developed an aggressive lymphoma, we opted not to do the several-thousand-dollar treatment but had her put to sleep. Lafferty was very kind and understanding. Another time our dog broke his nail and was in severe pain (yelping when he walked). The scheduler worked us in that same day and they took care of it for the cost of only a nail trim. We currently take our 3 cats and dog to and Lafferty and will continue to do so.

Lafferty Animal Clinic is truly phenomenal. We moved up to Roswell recently and were told this was a great animal clinic. That is an understatement. The level of compassion here is outstanding. They have been so attentive and responsive to our pets needs. Our senior dog, Priscilla, was diagnosed with Kidney Disease. Over the coming months they worked with us to make things as comfortable for her as possible. She rapidly declined on March 2nd. We took her to Lafferty and to see if she’d respond to treatment. She didn’t do well and we brought her back and had to put her down. They were wonderful during the emotional process. They helped us set up cremation which was a beautiful process to remember our little girl. We are forever grateful and will continue to use Lafferty for our other 2 dogs care.

Having adopted many rescue dogs (currently have 6), I am often surprised about the lack of knowledge of most vets. However, Dr. Lafferty is the only one I can trust when my dogs are in serious need of medical care. Living in Jasper, I travel 3 hours for Dr. Lafferty to look at one of my dogs. I have repeatedly been given incorrect info from other vets, wasting time and money chasing something that didn't exist. If you need a vet that is concise, knowledgeable, and personable, I urge you to go to Dr. Lafferty.

We are new to the area and my dog developed an ear infection. Called Lafferty and went in the next morning. We were seen, treated and back home within 45mins! The vet was super informative! A week later, our other dog became sick and didn’t make it through the night. Lafferty Animal Clinic was there to help through the process. Prices are affordable & great staff in any situation!

I have been going to Lafferty Animal Clinic for years and the care has always been above and beyond. We had a dog for 12 years and when we finally had to make the painful decision to put her down, Dr. Lafferty was great. Since that time we now have 2 dogs and they have received wonderful care with Dr.Lafferty and Dr. Bowes. Our Kitty got very ill and lost weight quickly. Dr. Bowes did everything to help maintain her health for as long as possible. I love this practice and the entire staff. So easy and laid back but very professional.

I appreciate the follow-up calls to check on my pets after a visit. Dr. Lafferty and Dr. Bowes have always been well versed in the newest technology, treatment and pharmaceuticals for my pets conditions. Overall I am extremely happy with the care my pets have received.
