The vets are so kind and caring. My dog actually enjoys going to the vet. The daycare center is spectacular. My puppy nearly jumped out the window every time we arrive. I can’t praise the staff highly enough. They go above and beyond to make sure the dogs and parents have a great experience.

These vets couldn't identify FIP and $1300 later advised me to put my saimese down. They waited a week after lab results were returned for an ultrasound to tell me they didn't know what the issue was and gave me a bunch of "could be" answers and basically said there's nothing else they can do so spend time with her while you can. This was a week that I didn't have and almost cost my cat her life. Getting ahold of a vet there is nearly impossible, I can't tell you how many times Dr.Newman didn't respond to attempts for me to get an explanation for ultrasound results. These guys aren't fighters, they just collect your money and upcharge for everything. I refused to be continuously treated with a lack of regard for my pets life and I went to a cancer care clinic and within the first visit after looking at her paperwork they immediately identified it as FIP and informed me of my treatment options, which saved her life. Leaving Winter Park Veterinary Hospital was the best choice I've ever made. The two photos I attached was her condition at Winter Park Veterinary Hospital, the other photo is after going to a cancer care clinic, where they fought for my cats life and gave me options which saved her life. Today she is completely healthy and it's no thanks to this "hospital".

Finding a veterinary clinic that would take my dog yesterday was a nightmare. I was so relieved to know that they were willing to accept me as a walk-in. Not only is the environment very nice, but the staff is welcoming and friendly. I have an anxious dog and I wanted to make sure that they were gentle with her, given past experiences with different clinics. Jaz, Demoi, and Dr. Cardenas were polite and patient when I expressed my concerns and asked questions. My dog did well! She is already doing better today after receiving her treatment plan. If I could give this another star, I would. It means so much to me that these people were gentle with her. Definitely recommend!

Our dog ABSOLUTELY LOVES going to the Winter Park Vet boarding facility. She gets the best care, attention and love while she’s there. The team is phenomenal and we know our dog is having a great time while we are away. We are thankful to have such a great place that our dog loves so much!

Rori is spoilt rotten at home and they take such great care of him when he boards there. They keep in touch with me if there are any issues and I love the bedtime storytime photos that I get each day. Great job !!!

Let me just say, wow amazing! Fantastic communication over email and phone by front staff. The vet technician was so warm, and Dr. Newman was very down to earth, kind, and reassuring. It is very rare to find a 10/10 vet.

Dr. Newman and AJ were so wonderful with my sugar gliders. They were gentle but thorough, answered every question I had, and instilled confidence with their kind and easy manner. I appreciate having such a great exotic animal veterinary hospital in close driving distance. The hospital was immaculately clean, and amazingly I couldn’t even smell any animal smell. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to for a great exotic vet in the Orlando area!

If I could give 10 stars I would, after running into 3 other clinics that couldn’t help me with my dying ball python and dealing with horrendous people at Exotic Animal Hospital of Orlando over the phone, I ran into the wellness clinic at winter park veterinary clinic with my scale baby and Phoebe immediately grabbed her and directed me to the main clinic where we ran to together. I entered the lobby like a crazy woman hyperventilating and praying that my ball python was going to be okay and they directed me to a room immediately. The way they treated me and my animals (they tended to my bearded dragon as well but my ball python was more critical) was absolutely amazing. I won’t go anywhere else to seek care for my animals. I wish I remembered the names of everyone that helped me, that office is something special. My ball python made it btw!!

we have been clients at winter park vet since 1962. that's 12 dogs' lifetimes. from dr. lynch to dr. hess to dr. hellenga, they not only know their stuff, but they love and care about your animals and you. they may cost more than some others, but you get what you pay for. i recommend them without reservation.

Overall I love this vet. They're always super nice and considerate. My only complaint is the prices, but for this area it's understandable. Previous vets I have gone to are around half the price for office visits, vaccines, and other preventative care.

Have been taking our animals here for years and Dr J is always amazing! She shows great care for your pets and treats them like family. Our most recent tech was Anya and she did a great job making us feel comfortable. Can't recommend them enough!

We were on vacation and our dog got sick. They took us immediately and Dr. Hellenga & vet tech Demoi were wonderful, they were so kind. This is by far one of the BEST veterinarian clinics I’ve ever been too. Thank you so much for taking care of our Cooper! Demoi called us the next to see how he was doing which was very thoughtful.

We have been clients here for over 12 years. We love Dr. Newman. Also, his tech Julian is awesome too!

The staff were very nice. Took my cat in for a second opinion and they were able to book me fairly quickly. The downside was the pricing for surgery. It was double the cost of the first vet I went to.

We are new to the area, and were told to go here by some friends. We have 2 dogs, and one of them is very shy around new people. At other vet offices, he has had bad experiences with staff pushing him past his comfort zone, but Dr. Mcintosh and the staff here have been so gentle with him. Dr. Mcintosh even took him outside, to do the exam where he was more relaxed. I'm really impressed with their level of care. During the exam, she detected a fractured tooth, so we scheduled him for surgery. His recovery from that procedure has been impressively quick. I am sure her technique and attention to detail are part of the reason he's doing so well. We couldn't be happier!

As a first time client of Winter Park Veterinary Hospital, the staff was simply amazing! Everyone made us feel right at home from the moment we parked the car and walked in the door ... thank you! Looking forward to seeing everyone at our next visit!

I brought my Guinea pig here to have some dental work done, everyone was so nice and professional and I could tell they really cared about her. I will definitely be coming here again!

I have been coming to WPVH for 50 years and have loved every minute I’ve spent there and the many doctors and assistants that have taken care of all my animal’s needs. Today was an exceptionally good visit with Phoebe and Dr.Cardenas. They are absolutely the best there is. Both are so knowledgeable and patient. I will be coming back to WPVH with my pets until the day I die and hopefully have Dr. Cardenas and Phoebe taking care of my pets. Mary Langley

What more can I say: this place is absolutely amazing! They were so friendly, able to work me in when our new kitten was having some problems, and were all around awesome. Thank you so much to our tech Brianna and Dr. Cardenas! They were soooo nice, informative, and thorough to make sure everything was looked at and explained properly so my girlfriend and I understood. I'm so glad they're close by and I feel safe and great about bringing my pet to this location!

We took our little hedgehog in for an inured foot. The care he received was wonderful. The staff were amazingly kind to us and him. I highly recommend this veterinarian for your exotic pets. Great experience for us.

Wonderful experience boarding our puppy, Oliver, here for his first time away from home. Counselor Arthur was so nice to send pictures and updates. It was really great not to worry about leaving him. The staff even took care of some shots Oliver needed, saving us a trip to the vet. We highly recommend the boarding facility and caring staff at Winter Park Veterinary Hospital. It is the very best.
