Animal Health Center At Weston Weston, Florida

I took my healthy puppy for neutering and the procedure was canceled due to a slightly high white count. My puppy was given steroids and penicillin. My puppy did not have a fever, cough, diarrhea, sneezing. He has nothing WRONG with his health. I received a bill for 276.73 for bringing in a healthy puppy. The problem was created in order to make money. I called for my records and I did not receive them. I called back and was placed on hold and no one returned to the phone. This is devastating to me and my puppy. It’s a bait,and switch. They do there own lab work there. I am an RN and I know you do not treat a slightly high white count with no signs of illness. The lab should of been repeated. Sounds like a lab error to me. Sad for the animals and the parents of the puppy’s. I enclosed a picture of my puppy. And the bill.

We were recommended to Dr. Cordova but personally we had a terrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend this office. Extremely long wait to see the doctor (1-2 hours), and the tech was far too aggressive with our dog. Could’ve been a bad day for them, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable bringing my pets back.

Honestly the worst vet experience that I have had. I was given three free visits to this vet through the place I got my new puppy. When I went there for my appointment it felt like they had no idea what they were doing. All the doors were locked, so you had to call to get in. I was standing outside with my new puppy in the heat for, at least, 10 minutes waiting for them to come get me and her. Then once they took her inside they basically told me to leave while they did the check up on her. I asked them how long it would be and the response was "Well the vet is not here yet so probably a little over an hour" So why are there people here and waiting and why schedule appointments if the vet is not going to be there? I told them I wanted to be with her. At least they let me inside to sit with her instead of sticking her in a cage for an hour. It definitely took over an hour for this appointment. And not only that but they gave me no information about what they did. They did not tell me how much she weighed, they did tell me if she looked healthy, they did not tell me her temperature. Honestly, they could have done nothing and I really wouldn't know. After this experience, I decided not to go back and just pay for the visits at the vet where I take my other dog. So I scheduled an appointment with the other vet only to find out that my new puppy has parasites. Clearly Animal Health center did not test her stool, in fact, the one they did tell me was that she was negative for parasites. I do not like nor trust the people that work here and I would suggest going to a different vet.

Really enjoyed coming here. Extremely nice, patient, and compassionate staff. From start to finish, I felt assured my pet was receiving 5 star treatment and quality care. Thank you!

They really need to work on thier logistics. I understand that we are working through a Pendemic but I waited outside for 20 minutes for someone to come get my Dog after I had called in on-time.Then it took another 1.5 hours to give my dog a rabies shot and microchip (I missed to work meeting bc the reception outside the office is terrible). I am no expert but that seems like an excessive time especially after having to wait 2 weeks for an appointment. On the plus side Dr. Cordoba is really nice

I have had animals all my life, I love them, rescue them from the streets and help them whenever they are in need, I am a Foster Parent for a Shelter and when I need help Doctor Cordoba is their Guardian Angel not only because he is an excellent Doctor but perhaps most important, he is unlike other veterinarians, he is most concern with the well being of the creatures and his owners rather than with the income they might receive..... He has helped me with wild ducks, feral cats and other creatures in trouble. I had once a wonderful cat that had FIV and died and Dr. Cordoba was great, very compassionate and helped me throughout such horrible and sad time, I trust all of my babies into his hands..... I can't say enough about Dr. Cordoba, he is great professional and human being, a Doctor with a big heart!!!

I can’t say enough about the great treatment received from the staff and Dr. Logan & I thank you for your service. Only wish I’d know how to download a photo to show you how big he’s gotten. He’s a solid 120lbs. Thank you guys for always keeping up with his health concerns ????

Update: I continue coming to AHCW. The attention is A+ always. There’s no time that I have left dissatisfied with the treatment. This time a took a cat that we rescued from the street and she was treated the same kind way that when I take my pug Lola. They treat my Lola very well. Girls at the desk are very nice. He had a lot of patience and he even gave me a follow up call on Saturday to ask about how Lola was doing with her treatment. That made my day.

Dr. Cordova and his staff are absolutely amazing. They are compassionate and experienced.

I recently moved to Weston and had to change veterinarians. I was very nervous about this as my dog has several issues. All of my concerns were set aside very quickly. And not only is Dr Cordova a great veterinarian, the medication is that my animals need to be on can be purchased straight through their practice. And much cheaper than I’ve ever found online. This goes as far as foods also. Very Convenient

The service and professionalism from Dr. Cordova and his staff was excellent. Dr. Cordova took his time to hear us and explain all his finding, without regret. Very dedicate Doctor, highly recommend it.

The service is not good, very very slow. And there is always a charge for an extra vaccine or treatment that is "needed". Never again...

The staff was very friendly and treated our puppy with care the visit was affordable and easy overall a great place to take your pet.

Your pet will get the right attention and love. Professional personnel, yet loving and tender with your kittie or pooch!

Have been with Dr. Cordova for over 20 years. Truly outstanding as a caring Dr. and a good person.

Staff is awesome and Dr. Cordova is very attentive and caring.

First visit with new puppy. Right now you have to call upon arrival and staff comes outside to talk with you about concerns of your pet. They take them in and upon completion of the checkup/treatment, Dr Cordoba calls you to discuss. Staff very friendly and informative. Keep you updated on what's going on. When done they bring pet back out to your vehicle. Review anything you need and you are done. This is the Covid way right now. So far I do like the doctor and staff. Seem thorough. Right now I would recommend this facility.

Now on the 3rd pet being cared for by Dr. Cordoba and his staff at Animal Health Center and we couldn't be any happier ... always the right advice, always the right level of care and most importantly our pets are as healthy as they can be .... go there, and get the care, the costs are fair and your pet will declare, "I LOVE ANIMAL HEALTH CENTER at WESTON" !!!

So far so good in a year long endeavor to improve my dog's quality of life.

I've been going to Dr. Cordova's for about 9 years since I got my first pet. I have 3 now and I won't take them anywhere else. Dr. Cordova and his staff are caring people and excellent professionals. I have referred many friends to him and all of them are very happy. 100% recommended!

...just to say THANK YOU...we lost our beloved CANELO last Saturday and yesterday we received 2 beautiful cards sharing our pain and comforting for our loss. Dr. Cordova was his vet his 12 years of live. Thank to all the staff, to Dr. Cordova, to Dr. Marks who was there in that difficult moment and especially to Jose Leverone for all his help and support; you guys are the BEST!!!

I’ve known Dr. Cordova for more than 16 yrs, way before he started his own clinic and have been the Dr of my pets. In which one of them only let Dr Cordova to examine and no other doctors. He is caring and gentle and that makes him special. I recommend this clinic 100%. Staff is very professional and the wait is worthy. Prices are very reasonable and the office always smell good!!
