Sorry Excuse for a Vet office. I brought my dog there on a Sunday morning and my dog appeared to have had a stroke. When I pulled up at 7Am in the morning due to covid could not go into the facility and had to call them. I was told the Dr. was busy at the moment can you come back in an hr. I was the only person in the parking lot but said okay and did come back at 8am was at that point given paperwork to fill out and sat outside till someone came back out to get the paperwork and was told someone would be out to get my dog but I was not allowed to come in and it was only curbside.I then sat outside for another 1 1/2 before I finally called the office to see why nobody had come out to bring my dog in to evaluate. The gentleman was not very polite and just said someone would be with you shortly. I then explained how long I have been waiting and how unprofessional it was that I was still sitting here. This is an emergency vet office isn't it.He then replied as yes we are . I then said why am I not an emergency then? at that point I left and went to another 24hr Vet office in PSL and they were wonderful was treated the way we should have been . this place is a joke and they do not care about you or your pet I would advise to not go here if you care about your pets

On 12/12/2021 we took my Belgian Malinos to them. We got there at 7:00am. We called I spoke to a desk clerk as signs were posted no entry because of covid. We were told to come back at 8am. And we did that. I called right away again and was told they would be right out . Finally at 930 after waiting 2 and a half house I left after reading reviews that they are uthenizing animals in the parking lot. We decided to take my dog elsewhere. This place is un professional I wouldn't take any animal.to this place ever and the short skinny black haired kid is very rude and should be Fired.

Oh no no no. I wouldn’t bring my dead goldfish’s skeleton that I found two years later here. I arrived around 1:15 AM to a couple holding their dog outside cause of “Covid restrictions” little to be known waiting for the two Vet Techs to come out and euthanized the dog outside on chairs… not to mention then just handed the body over to the owner like It meant nothing. However it doesn’t end here we haven’t even got to the good part. I found it funny there was only one car in the parking lot obviously being a little suspicious seeming my dogs in their care so I asked to speak to the Vet about my dogs condition and was told the vet would call me because there’s only one vet. They refused for me to see the vet. I kept assuring the vet tech that I knew what was going on and she clearly deals with this more than anyone should. I don’t get why some place that’s supposed to save animals is lying to their owners about a Vet actually being there. So I refused care for my Doberman Minni and drove a whole 50 Minutes north to avoid the s**t show of treasure coast animal hospital. Anyone with an animal, run far far away. I was told the doctors name was Dr. Kale but it sure sounds funny some of these reviews have a different doctors name!

Our regular vet office couldn’t get us in and our sweet old miniature schnauzer boy was suffering in his last day of his life. Treasure Coast Animal clinic was so caring, professional, and compassionate when helping to end our fur babies suffering. Losing our sweet fur baby is one of the hardest things ever- but I’m so grateful that this caring clinic and professionals were there to help us and our boy. My heart is beyond broken and a big piece of me is missing, but I am so glad our boy is no longer suffering.

Our Vet tech/attendant Tanya was an absolute angel. She was so sweet and compassionate to my mother. I was truly touched. Euthanasia is an extraordinarily difficult thing to go through no matter how many times you go through it. Tanya made it as positive as anyone humanly could. She is a blessing.

My pet sitter brought my dog here to render life saving aid and it was too late. This er is a 24 hour facility. The staff contacted me immediately and described her rapidly failing condition. She passed while on the phone with Dr. Their sympathetic staff was very helpful with her remains.

I'm glad to have the 24 hr emergency vet in town! I have used them a few times now because you never know what could happen at night with the dogs. Good service and prompt. Each time they follow up with my regular vet to update what had happened. The only negative is that they are pricey.

I took my dog to this vet after he came in contact with laundry soap. Great work and very fast to see to my dogs medical needs. Would highly recommend especially being from out of town. A veterinarian who is truly compassionate about animals.

I've taken three of my cats here with different emergencies. None has been critical, thankfully, although the first time I visited was with a cat who'd tried eating a toad and had been foaming at the mouth. She was fine by the time we arrived, but they checked her thoroughly anyway and diagnosed her with a UTI that had gone unnoticed. The second time they failed to diagnose a dental abscess, which caused the poor cat to suffer until the abscess actually burst through the skin of her muzzle, creating a wound. Our regular vet cleaned that up. The most recent occasion involved a cat with a broken leg. I left with the idea that the damage was so terrible our usual vet may well have to amputate the leg. She did not; the leg is currently in a cast, to help it heal straight and pointing in the right direction. I will say that the staff are all very pleasant and helpful. It's also less expensive than local animal emergency vet clinics, by far! And I've not lost a sick pet by going there, something that has happened elsewhere.

Last Saturday May 15,2021, Our Newfoundland Sherman, gaged about 3 or 4 times and then started bleeding from the mouth. My husband and I tried to stop the bleeding but were not able to locate the source. We just continued to wipe the blood and called our Vet. The answering service directed us to 2 emergency vet hospitals. We decided on Treasure Coast, because it seemed to be the closer to our home. We called Treasure Coast, told them what we were dealing with, they assured us that they had a vet available, they were 24/7. We contacted our Vet Tech, let her know what we were doing and she said she would call Treasure Coast and fax Shermans records and list of medications he was taking for a heart condition. She also let them know that we were on the way. When we arrived, no one was visible in the front office. We had backed our SUV in, opened the hatch and sat in the back of our vehicle waiting for someone to come out. My husband called the number on the door and a young man finally came out. We were in that parking lot for over 45 minutes from the time we arrived until Sherman was taken inside, bleeding , (as it turned out he was bleeding from a vein laceration under his tongue) while 3 people came out and filled out various forms and paper work, commitments for payment and some other forms. The vet never came out and her whereabouts were not mentioned. In fact we thought the person named Sarah was the Vet. Not one of the 3 people came over to our vehicle to even touch our dog.. He was finally taken into the "hospital", We asked to go in with him just give him some comfort . They denied us this request, even though we told them we were both fully vaccinated and would wear masks and distance ourselves. None of them were even wearing masks. Sarah came out again and told us that they would need our permission to give him anesthesia because they couldn't get him to let them look in his mouth and explained that he might not survive it because of his heart condition and asked us if we wanted to sign a DNR, which we did. My husband had received a phone call from someone in the hospital with that same information ( I was told by Dr. Cail when she called me on Tuesday that she was the one who had called him.) After a while Sarah came back out and told us that they had found the laceration, sutured it, but Sherman arrested and was gone. At that time she invited us to come in and see our dead dog, wearing masks of course. At that time I was still under the impression that Sarah was the Vet. I'm not sure what day it was, but when I looked on my bill I kept seeing the name Dr. Angela Cail, so I called the Vet hospital realizing that Sarah was not the vet, but she was the Cashier. I asked her why Dr. Cail had not come out to talk to us and Sarah told me that Dr. Cail had left right before we came back to see Sherman. We never saw the vet. My husband called to be sure Sherman would be cremated privately. I called again after that conversation and was told that after we picked up Sherman's remains we were not to ever come back to their hospital. After Sarah told me that I asked to have the Vet call me and I followed up with an email. Dr. Cail called me on Tuesday, I asked her what had happened, she told me that she had been in surgery when we got there, she told me what she had done to Sherman and what had happened. She also told me that she was in the hospital when we were back with our dog after he had died. I asked her why she did not come out and talk to us personally and she had no answer. If this is the 'protocol for this emergency vet hospital than I would say to BEWARE and find another emergency hospital to take your pet too. We wish that we had ever heard of Treasure Coast Animal Emergency and Specialty Hospital. ?

We had our dog euthanized here. The staff was very respectful and compassionate. The procedure took place outside under a large shade tree in a grassy area behind the veterinary hospital. It couldn't have been any more peaceful. Many thanks for making a horrible day a little less so.

If you claim to be an animal hospital and can’t take an emergency case in the middle of the day or for the rest of the entire day because your veterinarians are scheduled for surgery or are unavailable then YOU ARE NOT AN ANIMAL HOSPITAL. Just like if I break my leg and go to the emergency room and they have no doctors to see me it would not be an emergency room. Come on people.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had to endure. I took my 8 month old kitten here due to a bloated belly and weight loss. I knew nothing about FIP at first but when they explained everything I was devastated. We arrived at 6:00 PM and were not able to leave with our cat until after 12:00 AM midnight. I would also like to mention that they were not willing to give us our kitten until AFTER we paid half the bill. My boyfriend and I are only 19 and 20 years old with a part-time job and no credit, we didn't have the money to pay that night and we were not able to apply for a credit card they offered. After doing some research and talking to some other experts I learned that FIP takes 20 minutes and 25 dollars to test for, not 6 hours along with x-rays and blood work. They tell us that she will only live for a few more weeks to a couple months as well, so this whole ordeal was traumatic enough from the start. Never take your pet here, they will scare you enough so they can rip you off.
