Excellent staff and easy adoption!

I had to bring a pet there for adoption and I was worried that they couldn't take him. I was pleased to know that he will be adopted quickly. Thank you to the human society and the great people who work there????

Very nice people there. Let me tell you better be the owner or have permission otherwise they will not release your pet. Which is a good things. Very satisfied with the service.

Izzy and Bailey were great. They answered all of our questions about the animals and gave us as much information as they could about the dog we adopted. The called two foster parents and had them meet us so that we could see the dogs. They were very helpful!

Isobel and Sam are awesome, they did such a good job helping finding the perfect kitty for me. The shelter is clean and the animals are ready for their fur ever home. I totally recommend.

We recently adopted a wonderful kitty from HSUS and the whole process was wonderful. All staff was professional, helpful, attentive and friendly. The atmosphere had a good vibe and was well care for as well as the animals. Thanks for all you do!

I can’t thank The Humane Society of Vero Beach enough for their kindness and warmth. I adopted an adorable senior dog yesterday named Moxie and they made my whole process so smooth. I felt so welcomed by Isabella who worked the front and those that brought my dog out were so sweet as well. Moxie was just groomed today and we already love her so much. The care and medical attention she received before my adoption was top notch. ????????❤️???? They truly care so much about every animal and it shows. Please adopt a pet today from there! You won’t be disappointed.

Terrrible place filled with death and disease. Don't bother opening the doors.

No bueno. They say they don't put down animals here... but after a time they just release them back into impoverished communities (which in my opinion could be considered vandalism, harassment, etc). 1 Vet "on staff" (only there for emergencies). No real vet techs with knowledge just kids looking for their first job. Waste of yours, theirs, and the animal's time. Save a life somewhere else.

I took a small 2-3 week old kitten that had been found at Sebastian Inlet State Park. The staff was wonderful and even let me call to check on the kitten the next day. My fears over leaving the kitten were put to ease by Kristen and I believe the vet tech was Becky. I can't thank them enough, and I later saw the kitten did well, and was put up for adoption on the website.

I wanted to surrender my dog who has been needed rehomed for quite some time. I scheduled an appointment, and got a call back saying they’ll only accept my dog as an owner euthanasia and I need to pay $100+ for them to put my dog down. They wouldn’t even give my dog a chance.

Wow. I have never had a worse experience dealing with a rescue/adoption center. Do NOT go here. Even the outside has an air of ominous death.

Clean animals are we’ll taken care of and the staff is wonderful !! GO adopt from here. DO NOT SHOP ❗️❗️❗️

I adopted a new cat yesterday from the Humane Society. The whole process was great and I have a new friend that is awesome. I worked with Isobel throughout the adoption. She was so helpful, sweet and caring and it really helped. Thank You!

Had the pleasure of meeting MICHELLE and several staff members today when our rescue RISING STAR ROTTWEILER RESCUE picked up a handsome rottie they notified us about .Beautiful facility and very nice people .Thank you for reaching out to us about this beautiful boy.????????????
