I had a great experience here. Dr. McCartney is AMAZING and treats your pets as if they’re her own! My dog had a paw injury and she fixed him up perfectly. She was very thorough in explaining what she did to treat it as well as what I need to do in the next few days to expedite the healing process. I was able to get a next day appointment, and everyone I interacted with was very friendly, professional, and caring. I would recommend Dr. McCartney to anyone! You can tell she truly has a passion and gift for caring for animals.

Very friendly and professional, at a reasonable price. And they handle or pet very gently..I would recommend them to anyone who needs a veteran..

Great vets and staff - very caring/loving

This is a great animal hospital, they are kind attentive but quite expensive. If your pet is in need of care they are some of the best in the Tri-County area but you will pay an arm and a leg. I recently switched vets for my dog Jynx and am much happier with the Doctors at live oak but they literally charge almost 3× what the other vet did for the same procedures.

They are professional and give you the time to talk.

The staff and doctor are supper sweet and the try to Help you with the payment as much as they can We love are dog his family

We were very pleased with the staff. Our boy was very happy ???? . The Dr. Was very caring and attentive with our boy. He took the time to thoroughly explain every meditation and all of the test to us . He made sure we understood everything he was doing for our boy. We definitely loved the animal hospital. Coming from another state we were a little nervous. However they put all of our worries at ease.

One of my bassets was in briefly last week for minor issues, and several days later developed the symptoms of "kennel cough." Before we identified it, our second Bassett started manifesting the same symptoms (coughing/gagging/and expelling white frothy mucous). The two have not been in contact with other dogs for weeks, so the office visit was the culprit. This can happen in any practice and is not a criticism of this provider, just something to be aware of.

Great place to take your loved pets. Very knowledgeable and kind.

I loved Live Oak!!! The staff is amazing, really friendly and professional. Miguel was the most helpful person, he guided us through the entire process to get our cat’s international health certificate and Dr. Kate was really sweet with our “Lupi”, she made us feel like home… I really appreciate all the kindness we received during the whole process! I totally recommend Live Oak Animal Hospital, they are real professionals ????

Great locally owned clinic. The staff is always nice and courteous. We’ve been taking our dogs there since we’ve had them.

I've been taking my dogs to Live Oak vet for ten plus yrs now. So dedicated is the staff Techs r helpful caring and most r friendly A bit costly to me but it's worth the care my pet receives

Otto has been a patient here for a few years. Last year he was diagnosed with diabetes. The compassion and time spent with me on how to care for him went above and beyond. Yesterday he had a procedure and Dr T and the whole staff were amazing. You as a team truly care about your patients. You love them like we do, it shows and is very much appreciated

The people are really nice.. But I have spent over a $1000 trying to get my little doggies ears fixed. They more than double medication Prices and obviously don't guarantee their work. I have to pay every time I go. Seriously considering another vet.

Live Oaks Animal Hospital is absolutely EXCELLENT. Dr. Torrado, all the other docs and every staff member there is amazing. They care for your fur babies as much as you do. They tell you what’s going on, answer your questions, discuss their fees (which have always been very reasonable) and provide you with the care and support you need when you’re doing the talking for your furry pals. From wellness checks, injuries or the ultimate heartbreak, you’ll find they are more than partners in your journey. They’re family.

They took my puppy instantly in an emergency and gave him the best care imaginable! The staff was super friendly and courteous!

I have used Live Oak for my 2 dogs the past couple of years I had a ranch with lots of animals and I know allot about animal health and care. Live Oak is the most knowable and caring group of people I ever met. I had a young dog get cancer and I could not believe the care and real compassion. Thanks you!

By far the most caring and knowledgeable doctors and vet techs I've ever trusted with my many pups over the years. They have become family. I have a vet in NY where our primary residence is and I always wait until we are in our Vero home to bring my baby for her checkup. Thank you Dr. Torrado, Michelle, Debbie, Aspen and staff ❤️❤️❤️

Didn't have the greatest experience

Took Maggie our boxer here for the first time to get a mass removed and the doctors, nurses and receptionists, everybody on the staff was super professional extremely nice and just a wonderful overall experience. They truly care for your pet and I can’t say enough good things about Live Oak!! Definitely going back there when we need to!!!!

After moving to this area and interviewing vet services, Live Oak is my choice! Dr. Torrado and Dr. Walsh have been fantastic with my Dobermans. What I love about this clinic is the friendly staff and great, compasionate service. Scheduling appointments is quick and easy. Michelle, the manager is fantastic as well as Aspen, Lindsay, Liz and Debbie. The staff make me and my Dobe girls feel like family.

Even with the pandemic protocol, Live Oak keeps up the great work. Dr. Stewart and Dr. Torrado are both great vets. The care that they give our dogs, and the personal attention, is just amazing. These are vets that you can discuss the cost of treatment and not feel uncomfortable. They are just wonderful people, with warm personalities and professional in every respect. I wanted to write this review because we were the lucky recipients of a gift basket, just for visiting the hospital for an annual visit. The basket was fantastic and Dr. Torrado gave us some suggestions about what we won when we thanked both doctors for the basket 3 months after we won! We learned a lot about caring for our dogs teeth from both vets, and even more after we won the dental basket (which had a t-shirt, hat and lots of other items, all of which were useful and have been used). See the photo of our basket, WOW! Both doctors are animal lovers, but when your pets love their vets, then you know you have something good going on. We highly recommend Live Oak.
