Lance, (Llewellin Setter) has been a patient of Dr. Caldwell for over two years. Dr. Molly and her staff have always been responsive, polite, professional, compassionate and very thorough, including making sure I understand all phases of the treatments/examinations. We could not be more pleased with their services and care. Lance, nor I, ever have any qualms about visiting Venice Pines.

We started out with my daughter's adopted kitten and then with our adopted kitten. This is my daughter's first kitten, we had lots of questions as she is away at college. They have been so helpful whenever we had to call for a question. The second kitten had some challenges when we got her with a respiratory infection and all. They gave both kittens the best treatment and we are so happy with them.

I saw Dr Molly for the 1stntime as an emergency. When no one would take us, she did!! So nice & efficient despite COVID procedures. I will not go back to my previous vet due to the fabulous care received at Venice Pines Veteranary Clinic!!

My dog went in for an itch and they instantly prescribed apoquel without checking her out for any infection. Set up follow up and changed me 60-70 dollars to tell me to put her on prednisone without offering to actually exam anything other than “she’s itchy” and when I declined said try fish oil. Went to jacaranda animal hospital instead for a second opinion and they are WONDERFUL. My dog had an anal gland issue causing her to scratch non stop at her back and base of tail based on a conversation with me and basic exam of my dog. Would recommend them Instead of this place.

First, I would like to start by saying the star I gave the company is for Jessica (here are the rest for you Jessica ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ) at the front office was very kind to me during this ordeal that I went through with Venice Pines. I am not one to write reviews normally regardless of if I was treated well or poorly. I do however feel very strongly over an issue that I feel Venice Pines needs to resolve. My dog has been brought to Venice Pines since 2017. Throughout the past 3 years I have spent more than $2,500, between surgery and vaccines and her normal blood tests. What I am completely upset about is the fact that when they wanted to do an X-ray (one) of her bladder (which was fine) But I wasn’t charged for one X-ray. I was charged for 1-3 X-rays at a price of $189.00. So basically if I brought a dog there that had 1 X-ray and someone else brought their dog who needed 3 X-rays we would be charged the same price???!!! How is that fair??? I myself have worked in the veterinary industry and know there is a lot more work that goes into 3 X-rays vs 1 X-ray . When I spoke to the office manager regarding my concerns, I was lied to, and was told there was an issue with the chart and she would have to call me back, when really it was the doctor calling the person I coparent my dog with to let them know “I was yelling at them and that we were going to have to go else where.” I feel that after spending over $2500 at a place of business they could at least give me a break and not charge me for 2 X-rays that WERE NOT DONE. Their needs to change for the future clientele that go there.especially since the majority of the clients are possibly elderly and just want to take care of their animals and don’t question what exactly is being done and why. I am in no way saying that the doctor is a bad doctor or anything like that, just wanting to make people aware of the unjust pricing going on.

Aside from the ❤ and caring they give my pets, they are extremely compassionate! 5/03/2020: They were referred to me when I 1st moved here 11 yrs ago and I've used them ever since. If I could give them a 6, I would.

I recently had an emergency with my cat, Kahluah. VPVC saw my cat immediately while following all covid protocol . Dr Molly kept her overnight and unfortunately informed me next day that the kidney failure was terminal. I went in for the procedure and cannot thank VPVC enough for the time, compassion, the thoughtfulness and overall sympathy they expressed in my time of sorrow in euthanizing my Kahluah. Well done! I will always use Dr Molly and her team of exceptional professionals.

Thank you to the whole team at Venice Pines! Not only do they take care of my fur babies, but they have a room with toys for the human kids to play during the visit. Great customer service and amazing bed side manner by all the staff. I am so happy I found them and would not trust my babies anywhere else.

I would never recommend this place. They charge five times more than any other veterinarian in town and just isn’t worth it. I recommend Dr. Berkowitz on Jacaranda and center if you need good veterinarian that really cares. Venice pines …

Been taking our fur babies here for many years. We love it there, and they love Flopsy and Tessa. Wouldn't trust our four-legged friends to anyone else. Even a few years ago, when we lost Sofia, Dr. Molly's care and compassion (as well as that of the staff) made things so much more bearable. Thank you for all you do!

My family has used Venice Pines Veterinary for our pets since 2004 and they have always gone above and beyond expectations. They are truly full service with annual check ups and shots to boarding and bathing services. They're equipped to mend bones and other injuries and they have a lot of food and dietary needs. They put my 16lb cat on a dry food that helped her lose weight and be healthier! They can even deal with the little Siamese pisspot in the picture I have included!
