We have 3 fur babies all that are near and dear to our hearts. These people see that and feel the same way...they are not pets, they are an extension of your family. They are always honest even when the news is not so good and I like that. They are willing to look for alternatives too! Thank you for servicing our community in such a fine way!

When you have 3 vets that can’t tell you what is wrong with your perfectly healthy chocolate lab until brought in for this visit. It’s sad one I could understand but 3, when records were reviewed by another vet from another VCA facility he could clearly see my chocolate lab had Cancer and instead of this facility letting me know this. They pumped her with fluids after fluids after medicine when clearly that was not the problem. My Baby Girl Died in my arms when I could of had her put down and saved her all the pain if only this vet facility wasn’t after nothing but the money. My Baby Girl deserved not to suffer. Rest In Peace my sweet Sadie !! Please do your yourself a favor and find a Great Vet for your pet they Deserve that, not some vet that can’t have answers and won’t take the time for you or your pet. They wait 2 days for test results. One vet told me my baby girl was running around when she could barely move at home.

DR HECKMAN AND STAFF TOOK CARE OF MY PAPI WHILE HE WAS IN DISTRESS WITH HIS BREATHING ISSUES. WITHOUT HESITATION THEY TOOK HIM IN AND GAVE HIM THE BEST CARE EVER!! THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR TAKING GREAT CARE OF MY LITTLE MAN :)

They tell you they haveLots of long houprs B ut when you need an appointment you have to wait 7 days. My cocker spaniel has an ear infection and has to wait 7 days to get help .They said if He gets any Worst to go to the emergency clinic .So if this is how you treat your patients we will find someone that cares.

My experience has been with Dr Danielle Heckman DVM she is the best Vetinenary around in my opinion. She cares about her patients and my dog Watson doesn’t want to go to any other Vet. She listens to you as the owner of the pet. She tries to find the best way to treat your pet. Dr Heckman has always found a way to bring Watson back to his healthy self. She CARES!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could get her every time. I feel she is a SUPERSTAR of a Vet.

We are long time patients, but since Dr. Vernon left things are definitely not the same. Our dog was vomiting since yesterday and we called for an appointment. The dog has been treated for this before and the visit didn't involve administering any tests since blood workup etc. had been done recently. We were told that if we came in at 3:30pm they would fit us in. After waiting almost 2 hours we were told that the vet, Dr. Richey was leaving and couldn't see us ----AFTER WAITING ALMOST 2 HOURS!! How unprofessional that she couldn't take a few extra minutes of her time to see us. ? The last few visits here were not very positive and this just cinched it for us.

Husband arrived at 7:30 p.m. with our sick cat. They close at 8:00 p.m. They would not see the cat because the vet was leaving. Do not take your sick animal here if you care about them because they certainly don’t!

Love Dr. Kelly Vernon. Of course she's a great doc. In addition, she's always accessible and returns email pet care questions quickly. Very thorough in her exams, caring and knowledgable. Dr. Vernon has our complete trust.

Had good experiences in the past but things have changed. Drove 45 minutes for an appointment for my dog got there a few minutes late. My dog was very uncomfortable and in a lot of pain. They checked me in put me in a room and then came into the room and announced they couldn't see my dog because I was a few minutes late. I will not use them again. They showed no regard for me or my pet.

My mobile vet was not available to come out as she was an hour away. After speaking, we felt that my Little girl was on her way to the Rainbow Bridge. I called over to Buffalo Ridge and they said to bring her in right away. They were so lovely to speak with. They were kind and gentle and I felt comfortable from the moment that I walked in the door. My baby basically passed away right in my arms before anyone even saw her. The nurse scooped her up after some movement and said she was having agonal breathing. She didn't want me to see that part. She came back and and another girl popped her head in and they said they could give my baby just a little bit of help. I told them that would be fine. It was my first time having the experience of being there when losing a fur baby. I could not have asked for a kinder atmosphere. The whole experience was Heaven Sent. Thank You.

There was a problem with chewy.com and my vet. I needed to start my Kitty on a prescription cat food. I was so stressed and anxious about getting my Kitty started on his prescribed food. Jenifer not only was caring about my situation she took action to help me get a prescription I needed to go drive to a pet store snd buy a prescription bad of food, so I would no longer have to worry about getting him started on his prescribed health care plan. I am so grateful to Jenifer for her help and highly recommend her for any position in your institution. She is a huge credit to your customer care department. Thank you Jenifer.

I want to thank and give a great review to Buffalo Ridge and their whole staff, including Dr Ritchie. I had to put my dog down down yesterday and they were so kind, compassionate and did this with such dignity. I could not be more pleased. It was one of the hardest days of my life and my family and I are most grateful in the manner in which it was handled. I have another dog that receives service there and I could not be more satisfied in this vet. I changed from PAWS and now I know why. Thank you for making a difficult day more bearable. You are true professionals.

The personnel and Dr. Morris are very helpful, professional and caring. They are a top-notch group with whom I trust my most treasured possession--Buddy. Kudos to Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital.

The staff, tech's and vet were professional caring and knowledgeable. My buddy a plott hound has an ear issue they cultured, cleaned, medicated and prescribed I believe the correct medications for his ears. When it came time to pay I was worried about being gouged like most veterinary clinics do but was very relieved when the bill with a free first exam was about $ 130.00 on a Sunday. He has a follow up in two weeks and we will see how that goes, we might have found a permanent veterinary clinic for him.

When we first moved here our 18 year old cat was sick and had to be put down. We took her to Buffalo Ridge off 466. Now that there is one in Pinnellas we go there. I just love Dr. Morris. The vet tech Rachel was also very nice. They took their time with our cat Whitney and answered all of my questions. Would recommend highly to anyone.

I’ve used the emergency service for both my cats....one with cancer and one with colon blockage. They are wonderful and gentle with the animals. I feel bad for people who can’t afford to use the ER tho

We were visiting from NY when my golden doodle got a double ear infection. Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital was super helpful. They took us right and and even told us where to get a coupon for a free office visit. They cleaned his ears and gave him medicine right in the office. This allowed us to enjoy the rest of our visit knowing that our fur baby was feeling better. So happy that we found them!!!! Would absolutely recommend them.

BEWARE!!!!!! Way over priced, check around. You can find much better prices in the area. If you do have to go here be aware that the vet, Meghan Richey, is rude and arrogant. I was charged over 100.00 for a prescription you can purchase for under 10.00.

We LOVE Dr. Morris (aka Dr. Whitelock) at Pinellas Plaza. She is so compassionate and patient. HIGHLY recommend her.
