Paws Animal Hospital The Villages, Florida

I dealt with Monique today at Paws animal hospital and she was extremely friendly,helpful,and patient with me. I have a neurological condition that sometimes confuses me. We’ve asked around and some said they’ve not had good luck here,?but we’ve had good visits but we’ve been here only three times so we hope we keep getting great service.

I brought my rabbit in and they took amazing care of him and were able to help him and so many ways. It's really hard to find a vet that will actually take care of an exotic animal, and that actually knows what they're doing. They are very respectful and kind.

Worst Veterinarian office. First time I went they quoted me a ridiculous amount for one of my dogs to have a tooth extracted!! I received a second opinion at a Veterinarian outside of The Villages and the price was half the amount. She had …

Great staff, caring and informative

NO STAR! This place should be ashamed of themselves! They charged me a deposit to obtain an appointment 5 days out and my animal had to be rushed to a vet hospital that night. I needed the monies that this ludicrous vet charged me-deposit-to help pay the emergency vet. Mind you that the office DID NOT say that the deposit was non-refundable. I had to call this office back to ask about it because they did not say non-refundable to begin with. This is awful! This vet took $77.00 of my hard earned money and has never even seen my animal. They will not give me my monies back! They should give people time to cancel if they have to. And if they don’t cancel within a 1-2 day (24-48 hr.) window of time, then do what you have to do and charge them. In my situation, I ended up having to rush my animal to emergency because he couldn’t wait 5 more days to see this vet. This vet office is awful to do this to people when they work so hard for their monies. Shame on you!

Had both my dog n cat treated there several times and I was very pleased with the care, knowledge and compassion of the entire staff.

They are very customer oriented and can board your dog at a reasonable price and you don't happy to worry if your pet needs medications.

I just moved in the area and getting an appointment was easy. They treated me like I have been a customer for years. Gunner liked it too.

They are amazing! Our dog had a broken leg and they performed his surgery. Since then, they call periodically and ask about his condition and make sure we have no questions left. They helped us in a time we needed help desperately. We can't thank them enough for their help.

I didn't have a vet in The Villages. Then I needed one. Cats go down hill fast when they don't feel well. Called about 5 vets and they had the soonest appointment. I've had very good experiences as my cat needed many test to figure out the problem. They have everything in house. Everyone I worked with was professional and kind. The Doctors explained everything and we went step by step. I had Eileen as my tech and she was great too. Any time I called them to give updates and progress I got answers and a plan. We saved my cat from pancreatitis and underlying gall bladder issues. Feel very confident in their care.

The entire staff is Professional and compassionate. They explained my dog's surgery thoroughly before and after. It went just as expected with an excellent outcome! I am always greeted with cheerfulness. An excellent animal clinic and I highly recommend it!

I have 3 lab babies and have been going to Paws because we get great care for our fur babies and the boys are treated like family. After almost 14years they are family to us. We trust them to do right by our babies.

Amazing place. Had to find someone quickly due to my leopard gecko limping with swollen arm. It was a Saturday and they were able to get me in quickly. Had to stay in car due to covid. It was nice that the veterinarian herself actually called while we waited. Was very informative. They worked within my budget and had several options. Had follow up calls on how he was doing. Absolutley we will be staying with Dr.Johnson. I've had to call several times due to his condition being an ongoing issue and always receive a call back quickly. Thank you Dr. Johnson :)

Our "Dr. Rick", Dr. Munsell, was absolutely incredible. We were so fortunate to have found him when one of our senior cats went into severe failing health just 10 days before we were to began a three day trek back to MN after 3 months wintering in FL. I could write volumes on the level of care, concern and follow up by Dr, Rick and the entire staff at Paws but will try and keep it short here. We have a home purchased but cannot relocate for 12 months or so. Our sincere hope is that our Dr. Rick will be available for whatever amount of time he can give to the clinic once we arrive. If there were TEN stars to give here, we would. Thank you all at Paws. See ya in a year or so.

I am so thankful for all of the staff. They have been more than helpful for an unfortunate situation I have been put in. They have the biggest hearts. It’s obvious they cared for my mother as much as her animals.

Pretty much killed my bulldog. Would not let me go in with my dog because of COVID. She was there for a senior appointment. After sitting in my car for 45 minutes I had to call to see what was going on. They finally let me in after my dog collapsed from anxiety and extreme stress. We had to wait an hour to bring her back together with sedation and ice packs and sent me home with amoxmocacillin in case she caught pneumonia from the ordeal. Terrible
