Anclote Animal Hospital Tarpon Springs, Florida

Have been here many many times. I first found them though my husband, his family had been taking their pets there for years and they came highly recommended. The original vet was amazing, patient and kind. I have been personally going there for 8 years roughly now and since the new vet came in, I was happy to see the same quality of care come from her. I have run into a couple hiccups with them here and there but nothing that was ever not quickly resolved and fixed to my satisfaction. Great place, they genuinely care about all animals and I will continue to go see them. The whole team is wonderful.

We are new to the area and are so pleased to have found a wonderful veterinary office. The doctor and staff were very helpful and calming for our anxious fur baby. Update: Unfortunately a large tumor was discovered in our puppy. We brought him in weekly for a month because of pain and weight loss, only after a month was an X-ray ordered and the mass was discovered. They sent us off to the emergency vet and never contacted us again to check on our puppy.

You should not go anywhere but here for your pet care. All the staff is helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Both vets are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and very good with your pet. The costs are reasonable, boarding is great, and they care about the health of your pet.

I bring 5 out of my 7 animals to Anclote. The only reason I don't bring the other 2 are because they're bearded dragons! ???? The staff and doctors at Anclote are friendly, knowledgeable, and always treat us like family. I never feel pressured into tests and/or procedures that aren't needed and feel like they really listen to my concerns. We are Anclote patrons for life!

Beware! Had an appointment for my dog for Saturday, but due to his situation, I requested to be seen sooner. The unfriendly staff responded that he could be seen sooner, however a higher fee applies. Not the first time they asked us for a higher price, even though we are established patient with an appointment scheduled. So, instead of paying a regular exam fee of $55, they want to charge $68, "because they are doing us a favor". In conclusion, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY PET owner going to this particular vet's office. Clearly, their agenda is making money, NOT THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF YOUR PET. BTW, I called 10 other vet offices, and NONE of them ask for a higher price, with an appointment scheduled. No worries, I don't need an apology or lame excuse from the owner, I found another doctor that actually cares about the pet, not office fees. Have a blessed day!!!

The team at Anclote Animal Hospital took great care of our dog “Thunder” AKA “Bad A…” serious issues. We could not be happier. It worth the drive from Tampa and the reasonable fees.

Started taking my puppy here shortly after we got him. They were referred to us by the family we got the puppy from. Have been twice now and have always had the best experience with the techs and vet. I look forward to a long, happy relationship with Anclote Animal Hospital

Very nice and friendly staff! They were able to get my dog in the same day and with such short notice on a busy Saturday! The doctor were very informative and compassionate when talking to me on the phone about my animal. My dog loved them and I think I have found my new vet!

This animal hospital and the veterinarians are wonderful. Every staff member made me feel so welcome and were so nice to my newly rescued cat. They listened and took great care of my sick cat. They even called to follow up on him. Great place!!

What a lovely staff! I haven't used their vet services but heard great things from my dad. I've boarded my dog here and not only is it cheap, they really care about your dog (they opened stockings when I boarded her for Christmas!).

I have taken our pets to Anclote Animal hospital for 10 years now . I cannot say enough great things about the doctors and staff! They are all very compassionate people.
