Westchase Veterinary Center and Emergency Tampa, Florida

My dog was sick Sunday afternoon. I called, they got him in right away with the symptoms he was having. They did x-rays, bloodwork and did an exam. Gave him some medications and within a few hours he was looking better (no droopy eye). Within a few more hours he popped up ready to play. Can't thank them enough for the help with my puppers.

We have been bringing our cats here since we adopted our first cat in December 2016. Everyone at Westchase Veterinary Center always takes great care of our two girls. I would not take them anywhere else.

Had an emergency with my dog and they were able to get him in the same day without any issues, visit was very fast and they took very good care of my boy. Called back next day to make sure he was doing well. Vet was super nice and answered all questions in full detail.

Stop sending me emails everyday to review, very annoying. Vet tech was awesome, cared for my baby. However I feel this vet is one of those that’s mostly in it for the money, trying to get me to buy unnecessary services. They weren’t BAD, they were just pushing expensive services that I didn’t really need.

The only vet I trust working on my dog. Can be a little pricey, but worth it in my opinion. All the vets are fantastic and extremely knowledgeable and the nurses take such great care of my pup and really take the time to bond and make him feel comfortable while he’s there.

This vet it’s a wonderful place to take pets that are old and no friendly these people treated my cat Sophie with a lot of love and compassion, my Sophie it’s a very temperamental cat and I got a wonderful experience going to this vet, I just regret that I didn’t find this place sooner, probably my cat wouldn’t be blind and so bad like he is now, many vets that I went were to tough with my cat, I was always asking for pills to take him but not they didn’t give me pills to calm him down, other vets were wanting to gas him all the time and at his age I don’t think that’s good. Thanks a lot Westchase Vet crew your service has changed my days. ❤️

I have been coming here for years. I've always been very satisfied with their staff! They're kind! You won't be sorry if you choose to use them as your Vet. Especially in an emergency! Update 11/23/21 I wasn't as happy with all the staff, and the Dr as I had been.

Their neglect caused a pet to die.

Dr. Rhodes was amazing and super helpful with creating a plan for my boy when he was sick!

Prices are high, medical remedies are questionable, and they act like they're doing you a favor when they work on your pet. (The reason these people have such a high rating is because they go after the people who rate them low.) I'm using a pseudonym so they don't come after me. Beware any organization that doesn't have a fair amount of negative reviews.

I'm a new pet owner and they walked me through everything that I would need. They were all very positive and its a refreshing environment. Setting an appointment up was simple. I wasn't sure how a vet visit would be but after visiting them I know where to go whenever my pet has an issue.

Great people and I know that my pets are safe with them. I would never go anywhere else! Michelle

There aren’t many people I would trust with my hedgehog, Mabel, but the staff at Westchase vet is definitely some of those people. At the drop of the hat, the friendly vet techs are able to answer all of my questions, fit me right in for appointments if we need them, and do their absolute best to provide the best care for the least amount of money possible. I have been a client for a little over a year and have met a few of their providers who are always willing to go the extra mile for me and my Mabel. I highly recommend Westchase Vet to anyone looking for people who will love your animals like their own. When adopting my newest kitten, there was no doubt in my mind that we would go to our extended family at Westchase Veterinarian Animal Hosptial for all of our needs!

They are wonderful!! I was able to get an appointment same day, and they took great care of my pup who is a nervous wreck at the vet. They were so sweet and patient with her and myself and answered all of my questions, they even texted me this morning following up. Just moved into the area and feel so much better having such a great vet so close ????

Love this vet center. I have tried several different vets and have found one that I'm very comfortable with... Everyone is pleasant and professional. They really care about your pets.

Place was amazing. The people who worked there are very nice. And the doctor was super nice and friendly. This was the first time my bailey has been here. She was alittle shy and scared but they made sure to make her comfortable while she was there with lots of treats lol. And the doctor made sure to put all her notes down on the paper to go home with. I'd definitely recommend anyone to come here. Very nice place and price is really good too

My partner and I just took our cat to Westchase Veterinary Center for the first time, and it is by far the best vet clinic I have ever been to. My cat suffers from a chronic urinary disorder, but they finally gave us the answers we were desperate to receive. They saved his life and kept us in the loop the entire time. The vet called after every single procedure with prices, time frames and updates. They also worked with us to lower costs while providing the utmost love and care to my fur baby. We were met with friendly service from the moment we walked in the door. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great vet.

My pup was not eating and walking a little wobbly and my vet wasn't open on Labor Day(not open on weekends either). Westchase Veterinary was open at the time of my concern and was able to see me the next morning, Monday! The staff, and technicians, and physicians are knowledgeable and personable. My follow up is today and I have great confidence in this office that they will do anything my my pet and yours!

The staff is amazing, they treat my pets with the utmost care and kindness and everyone is so personable. This year I lost 2 of my senior pets and the doctors there were so delicate with the situation and my grief, A+ service!

The doctors and techs at Westchase Veterinary Center always do a really good job with my dogs, the staff is friendly and they are always very quick to follow up regarding test results (usually within a day or two of the visit in my experience) and are great about explaining treatment options if your pet has an issue.

My husband just took our cat Angel in for her first visit here. The people are so friendly and professional and the Doctor was very caring and thorough in treating Angel. The business is exceptionally clean and the process from start to finish, was stress free. Our cat usually doesn't chum up so quickly to strangers, but she was surprisingly relaxed and liked her Doctor! That says a lot. We will be returning when necessary and also with our other cats. Today was our first visit, and they made everything so easy. I was a bit nervous about curbside service for my puppy’s first appointment, but the doctor and staff were friendly, patient, and professional. They answered all of our questions as new puppy parents and sent us photos from Lafayette’s visit. So glad this place worked out since it’s close to our home. Edit 7/27/21 We stopped taking our dog to this vet because of the lack of cooperation from the office. It took them months to provide the paperwork we requested for insurance purposes. Since leaving this practice six months ago, we took our puppy to a new vet. Six months ago the new vet requested records and westchase vet has never responded to their request. It’s a shame that the way the office is ran is the reason the practice is losing business.
