Wonderful and caring staff and Veterinary Doctors. Even though I have moved from South Tampa I travel 40 minutes to take my dogs here. I trust my dogs health and well-being in their care.

We are from out of town. They helped us get our dogs diabetes regulated. Very caring...

They are taking very good care of my dachshund. The vet is extremely knowledgeable and gives good advice.

The staff was really friendly especially with my problem child rottweiler. Dr. G was very pushy about selling us heartworm and flea medicine. I know the risks of living in the south, I said no multiple times but she seemed very rude and judgemental about me refusing. I won't be back. I loved the techs though.

I would not recommend this vet by any means. We did not feel a sense of comfort from this vet from the get-go, and because of that we decided to switch. After attempting to obtain their records of our dog for the new vet I was left with no response to both my emails nor calls, and upon our visit to the new vet they quickly identified that our dog had an ear infection, which was clearly overlooked by South Tampa Vet. Additionally, they verbally assured us they provided our dog with a vaccine that they did not distribute. If you want to feel like your pet is in the best hands I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

They are very gentle with the clients,very friendly ,very helpful and very professional and their rates are really reasonable.

It was my first visit there. My dog received a full physical and got his vaccinations up to date. The vet went into detail about my dog's health. I can highly recommend South Tampa Vet Center.

My granddaughter took my dog Rocky there yesterday. They came out to the car and took him in as no one allowed inside at this time because of the covid virus. They examined him gave him his rabies shot and medication and trimmed his nails.. It was a normal price of 302 dollars. Plus his tag for proof of rabies shot. Very good with animals and Rocky is doing so much better. I appreciate them.

I'm grateful for this clinic. They helped me take care of my bestest friend in the whole wide world. On June 12th, 2021 with the vet's help, we laid my dog to rest. It was the hardest decision of my life. I watched and held my baby's little paws and watched him go to sleep peacefully in the nice little backyard area they had setup. I'm grateful it wasn't just some cold room and he had to go to rest on a metal bed. I highly recommend this clinic because they helped me in a very difficult time of my life. The only thing I was upset about but it's not a big deal was when I called the office to tell the vet I've made my decision was the receptionist said, "You can't just put down your dog because you refuse to give him his meds." I don't think she understood how terminally ill he was. But when she told me, the vet would call back, only then she realized it wasn't just because I wasn't giving him medication but because he was extremely sick. There was a bit more compassion in her tone than earlier when her tone was a bit more judgmental. Other than that, we had a pleasant experience from beginning to end.

Dr. G is the best!! She had made house visits for me and when I had an aggressive dog she would treat him in the parking lot because he was too mean to go inside and be around others dogs.

The staff is exceptional. The entire process is great. I have been to many vets for my dogs and nothing was as perfect a fit as South Tampa Vet.

Love the car side manner and our dog loves the people who work here!

I've been taking Ghost here since he was a small puppy. He's been well taken care of by a super friendly team. Dr. Ginex is very knowledgeable and tends to work with the parents on potential solutions. They respond to questions and e-mails quick, and the pricing is fair. Ghost was able to be scheduled in the same day 've call about a concern, and he's also been dropped off to be seen in between appointments when there's no availability. Definitely don't feel like a customer when they take care of us!

Dr Genix cannot be beat. She and the staff are immensely knowledgeable and enormously compassionate. Recently, our golden retriever and our Shichon became ill within days of each other. Even though the office was overbooked, the new computer system was causing everyone a fit, and the Covid guidelines were throwing appointments late, Dr Genix squeezed our pets in and provided excellent care, information, and medications with follow-up instructions. When there is concern about the well being of your animals, know that you wiil have peace of mind that they are receiving the best care available. We highly recommend South Tampa Veterinary Care.

Efficient, safety conscious, and friendly. When you arrive the parking spots are numbered. Call the office, and they come to your car and collect your best friend, administer what is needed, take payment, and you drive off.

They are the absolute best! Started brining our puppy here when we first got him. Loved the staff and Dr so much that even after we moved out of South Tampa, we still bring him back for his annual visits. Very professional, understanding, knowledgeable and friendly.

Dr. G was awesome. Even with the COVID-19 situation and waiting in the car, the entire staff were terrific and professional. I just had a check up but this is my new Veterinary Clinic. Thanks everyone!

Dr. G is a down-to-earth, logical vet. She is gentle with the pets and caring and understanding with the pet parents. I love this vet office.

I started taking my pet here based off of the reviews however I did not have a similar experience. My dog has been vomiting for over two weeks. They had no problem charging me 500$ for testing and took several days just to call me back with lab readings even after they had been available (that was with me calling begging them to read the results). Apartment the “doctor was out and needed to play catch up”. They prescribed meds that didn’t help. Tomorrow will now be the third day of me calling in requesting to speak to the doctor with no call back because my dog is still vomiting. I guess they don’t care. I will also add their phone lines are down so the phone is always busy or it drops mid conversation. The is the absolute WORST pet hospital experience I have ever had. DO NOT take your pet here. They are negligent. Update: veterinarian did see my review and I did get her on the phone. She is taking the necessary steps to figure out what is going on with my pet. But the experience has still be very frustrating.

Couldn't be happier! We were referred to this vet by multiple friends that are pet owners themselves and I'm so glad we made the change from our previous vet. The staff was extremely friendly and happy to answer all questions I had in great detail. We got lots of personal 1 on 1 time from the Dr which was very much appreciated. Our pup came back the same happy boy that he went in as. Night and Day compared to our past vet experiences with other clinics. Also extremely affordable! Looking forward to returning

Dr Denise Ginex and her staff saved my cat, Tuxedo's life. He had stopped eating. When I called their office, the staff member said to bring him in asap. That it was very important and the Vet. would see him right away. I went quickly and waited less than five minutes. Dr Denise gave me some scripts and told me what to do. They were able to fill the scripts there and within days Tuxedo was back to normal. I'm forever grateful! Needless to say, I will take my cats to Dr. Denise and her staff and recommend them highly!
