We live in Atlanta and we always board our doodle here when we visit in Tampa. Bear always has a great time and Bear is well cared for during our visit. It lowers my stress level knowing he is happy and safe.

I wasnt sure how my beagle boys were gonna do. They never been away from us before. Everyone at preppy pet west gave us a great feeling about it and within 2 min of being there our youngest had already made friends. I'm not sure who missed who more the humans or the beagles.

I have used preppy pet a few times to board my little chihuahuas and the staff there take great care of both of them. And the prices are lower than most places I’ve looked at. So I definitely plan to use them regularly!

Great place for the pooch to vacation. It's the type of place ur pup will run into and slowly walk out of.

This is my go to doggy daycare. I have a Staffordshire Terrier who is a ball of energy and they always take care of him.

I love this place so much. My boys have been doing daycare and boarding here for over 10 years. They genuinely care about your pets and it shows. My dogs are super excited when we arrive and super tired when they leave. It is clean, well run and reasonably priced. Whatever the manager Paige makes is not enough ????

We have been taking our dog there for 10 years. We lived a mile away when she started going and now we drive 53 miles to know that she is being taken care of!

Having just moved to the area, I struggled with finding a place that I felt comfortable with and that was also affordable. Preppy Pet Tampa West put me at ease from the very beginning. My pups felt comfortable, and that made the whole process much easier. Overall, the owner and staff were very professional, friendly, and honest. I would definitely recommend, and we'll be using them again the future. Thank you!

Friendly service, but overpriced for an incomplete grooming, IMO. Length was as requested, but I’m still looking for a groomer that knows how to do a great teddy bear cut! Also, hygiene cut should be pretty standard on any pup with longer hair/ fur.

I was nervous to take my dog to a kennel since he is 5 years old and hadnt been boarded previously. I also didn't want to pay more for his boarding then my vacation. I found Preppy Pet and will not go anywhere else! The staff is friendly and put me at ease immediately. I highly recommend to anyone in this area.

I hope this review is helpful and not overly critical because the people who work here are the nicest people and I can tell that they love pets. We boarded our Golden Retriever here for a week. Everyone I talked to from the first phone call until I picked him up was amazing! Unfortunately when I picked him up I was informed about an issue he was having with his paw. He was licking it a lot and apparently showing his paw to several staff workers. It appeared as if it were a hot spot. Hot spots are not unusual. As soon as I got home I noticed a large sore under his chin that was infected. I’m not sure how this could have possibly been missed to be honest. He needed either a cone or topical medication earlier in the week to avoid the infection. He also was acting so weird. He wouldn’t come to my husband which was so strange. He loves my husband and has never been like that before. I think the staff is great, but it would probably be good to check pets regularly for any injuries so they can let owners know earlier. We won’t be back, but I do think this place cares a lot and could be better if a little more attention was given to possible injuries. Again, not meant to be an angry post, just hopefully constructive.

I get my mom's dog from here, she always looks happy when she is there. Not shaking or breaking her claws on the floor trying to get out ( which shows me she has been treated well inside the grooming area ) and Miss Daisy always looks absolutely lovely when I go pick her up ????

Such a great place to take your pets! Our dog Buds loves play time at doggie daycare. The price is right, location is easy to get to and the staff are super friendly!

My pups LOVED hanging out with their new puppy friends! You can tell workers genuinely care about the animals. I felt so confident that I booked the dogs a boarding stay while we are away along with a grooming!

We love Preppy Pet! My dog can't wait to get in the door and he never wants to leave. Paige and her staff are always so friendly, attentive and patient with my pup even when his energy level is high. It's evident how much they care about his happiness and wellbeing. I like that I can watch him online and he gets to go outside numerous times throughout the day. The owners, Cherie and Craig, are great and very caring and accommodating and their pricing is very reasonable.

Our pups love it here! We have used both the "daycare" and boarding services. We can travel with peace of mind that our pups are well cared for.
