Oak Tree Animal Hospital Tampa, Florida

I took Loki here when he was about 10/11 weeks old. His ears didn’t take long to heal and they did a good job. We are pretty happy with the way they turned out. They were really awesome about explaining the procedure, telling me what to do what to expect, and showed me how to post his ears. Here is a before, during, and after photos for reference. We chose a medium military crop in Loki since he’s my first Doberman, and show crops take forever to post correctly. Thank you all!

I will never recommend this hospital to anyone . Bad bad work on my doberman ears crops . I ask for a stile and he did whatever he wanted. Disappointed

The doctor and the staff are awesome and actually listen to you!! I am have 2 bouvier pups that needed their ears cropped, I had a horrible time trying to find a vet that didn't charge a arm and a leg, and . This vet is wonderful and so is the staff!!!

I am extremely happy with my doberman's cropped ears. They recommended what cut would look great based on his ears and they were right. The ears healed beautifully in 2 weeks and only needed to be posted for around 3 weeks. They had the cheapest price in the area and did a perfect job. Staff was great. Place is definitely lived in but don't let looks of the place reflect their work. Great job Oak Tree, thank you!

Was ten minutes late for my appointment. They turned me down over the phone and acted very unprofessional. Seems like a bunch of highschoolers run this place the way that I was talked to.

Took my dog Molly there for pyometra surgery,very affordable and they did a great job! It's been 3 months and Molly is doing great! No complaints here. Polly the lady at the front desk was very nice and even gave me her number so i could text her if I had any questions or issues.

Got my dobermans ears cropped here and the staff and doctors are amazing, 5 stars. But the crop is horrible and I feel like I should’ve spent an extra couple hundred of dollars rather than coming here and ruining my dobies ears.. It’s a mid job and the doctor probably specializes in any dog but the doberman as The job speaks for itself in the photos below. Now I have to find another place to redo them- really upset. (First my pic was what I asked for- A curve and no bell crop) The other two is what was done. Although i’m thankful they were cropped symmetrical they have absolutely no shape or style that a doberman should have.

Did amazing job on my crop , very attentive staff with round the clock help, very affordable the won me over as a full time patient loved my expirence

When with my cat 4/6 the escape from home and came back injured. They took such a good care of him. Amazing vet assistant and a great doctor. Very thankful

With a very ill 9 week old pup I was seen taken care of quickly as a walk in and even in a covid world and a pup with possible parvo, these people were amazing. Doctor came out to my car and then cleared the office so we could come in without infecting anyone else. Took xrays and actually showed me them and explained them to me. I was given the price before anything was done and sent home with meds and instructions. My pup was skin and bones when she was seen and now she is a happy, chubby pup again.

Good vet quick efficient and does not over charge.

Arrived at 12:21 on Saturday. Hours say open till 1pm. I call that I’m outside with the dog and I just need a quick rabies vaccine. Apparently they stop seeing animals at 12. They should write that on their hours instead of wasting peoples time. It’s a sketchy office anyways. Go elsewhere to treat your pets.

Took my dog in for his ear cropping staff was super friendly and informative on details I felt like they took good care of my boy. I love how his ears look now

The worst veterinary service I have received. They do not truly care about your pets.

Great dr. At a very affordable price. Im 37 and have been with oaktree since I was in my teens. Better than gandy animal. Better than Bayshore or south tampa as well. 5 star always best vet in town.

the receptionist is very rude they do not have any sympathy for animals not sure why they work with animals. They don't really care about your Pet. The worst Vet I ever visit...

It’s not a Terrible place, kind of in a Scary area though.....took my cats to get Spayed And Neutered, at least the Doctor is good at that

Dr. Kumar is an excellent vet. I have being taking my two beagles, and cats there for few years. Very caring and knowledgeable. I like the fact that he is the only vet on his office, so my family and I always get to see him. Prices are reasonable and they are not pushy. Polly the receptionist is very sweet and caring trough the pets, and clients. I am so appreciate of their kindness and compassion. Great Doctor and staff. I will highly recommend this facility

Polly the receptionist was so patient and helpful with me taking my puppy there for the first time to get his ears cropped. She walked me through the process. I love my Cane Corso ears. The doctor came in and asked what kind of crop did I want and I showed him a picture along with him drawing a line of where they would be cropped. His ears look so good we get compliments all the time. Thank you Oak Tree for taking excellent care of Nero.

Just called this place to set up an appointment and the receptionist was nasty

Stay away very bad business clipped my dogs ears right off like wow horrible experience. Horrrible in every way. Then acted as if it was nothing very dirty also.
