These people really care about animals!! Brought my puppy Bolt in for what turned out to be an upset stomach. The staff was amazing and welcoming and accommodated us very quickly. Highly recommend.

These people are great I just called up there even I'm no where near them and couldn't bring my dog in there they still answered all my questions and made me feel alot better about my buddy best friend my everything my life my dogggy is everything to me shoot me dead if something happens to my buddy anyways she was very nice and professional wish I lived by Tampa they Def be my vet don't move to Panama city fl they have no 24 hour vets here but for the nice lady who helped me with my dog with my questions thank you very much and hope you have a great day my healer says ty to and he and I really appreciate you ty is not a strong enough word ok thanks again

We visited VEG twice in the span of a few days. The first time was on NYE when they were the only Vet ER that was open (according ot the staff huddle that we saw). They were running non-stop and ordered themselves some DoorDash (which I wish I could've chipped in to pay for them). We brought out senior pup Millie in for a visit suspecting a UTI from a boarding stay. We got a far more grim diagnosis. Dr. McGinnis was thoughtful, kind, and explained everything thoroughly. The entire organization was awesome. The techs, the receptionists and the Doctors were amazing. They were focused on the animals 100% of the time and also ensured the people and pets waiting were informed and taken care of. I didn't know this place existed until we were referred there as our vet was full and couldn't take appointments that day. They did everything on the floor with our big girl so she was comfortable. We were most touched by the care and compassion they showed for another family with another senior dog. They came in, went to the head of the line and it was clear they were having to make a decision. The staff was so compassionate. We teared up watching that poor family. Little did we know just two days later it would be us. Two days later we returned as Millie had collapsed at home. I was most impressed that Dr. McGinnis remembered everything about our earlier visit without even having to look at the chart she'd pulled. She caught up my husband and also explained her case to another vet that loked like he was training without even consulting her notes. To make a long story short, we had to make our own decision. The room they have for families is so nice. Its got room for a family, comfortable seats and is very "spa" like with white noise and quiet. The entire staff was so compassionate and made sure we had tissues and water bottles and anything we needed to feel comfortable (or as comforatble as you can be in that sitaution). Angelica lived up to her name. She was the nurse assisting us and she was an Angel. She was caring, compassionate and really helped to make a very difficult day much better. Dr. McGinnis, Angelica, and the rest of the staff at VEG that worked both NYE around mid-day (Millie was the one flopping all over the floor when you cleaned her ears) and on Monday 1/3 are professional, compassionate, wonderful people and if you need emergency care for your furry family member, I would recommend them without hesitation. We sent them a thank you note for that day, we wish it could've been more.

Dr. Bradtmiller and the VEG team are incredible! I brought my dog in after he was attacked by another dog and they took the best care of him. He was seen immediately whenever we came in & I was thankful to be able to stay with him the entire time. Dr. Bradtmiller & the technicians were so patient and kind to my fur baby. They made it as fear free of an experience for him after he was anxious from being attacked. She cleaned him up well, performed a thorough assessment on him, and explained to me in detail the aftercare instructions. I’m so glad that I took him to VEG & couldn’t recommend it more! Thank you Dr. Bradtmiller & the team for taking great care of my fur baby :) (He’s healed up great after getting his staple removed & will look even better in time!)

Best vet we have ever been to. There is a bit of a wait but that's just because they are so busy and give such warm attention to each pet. We hate having to seek out emergency services but are so thankful this place exists. Our german shepherd, Athena, was treated with care and got the meds she needs to be on the mend.

They were so helpful and I got to stay with my baby the whole time. I was very thankful for that.

A bit chaotic but the staff was awesome. They showed concern for my pet and assured me throughout the whole process.

My husband took Troy in and he never came back out. Long story short, we lost him (to no fault of the ER of course). They were all very professional, compassionate, and most of all, patient. That wasn't so surprising as it takes a certain type to do what they do. What did surprise me was getting a card in the mail a few days later that was personally signed by all the staff. I truly hope we never have to go here again, but knowing they're there and understanding what it's like gives me great comfort.

Terrible. I wish I could give negative stars.. I visited this vet when my dog was in severe pain. They take all patients into the back in one big room with all the caged pets and also where they do surgery. And your asked to sit on a folding chair and wait. So all the animals are anxious and howling. I was just left sitting in the room with a bunch of other people also waiting while 4 techs held down a puppy to take blood..I sat their watching this kind of thing for an hour, at that point I just left. Nobody at anytime asked me about my dog, who was literally shaking in pain. It was unsanitary and traumatic.

We were referred to VEG by our primary vet, Dr. Danielson at Caring Paws, when our dog, Jax, was very sick with a very high fever and a very low white blood cell count. VEG ran additional diagnostic testing and determined he had a rare tick-borne disease. We were able to quickly get in contact with the vets and nurses for updates during his two night stay, and they even sent us pictures. We are incredibly grateful for the care he received at VEG that saved his life, and are happy to have found a wonderful local emergency vet.

Lesley was absolutely amazing! My fur baby passed away yesterday and my father and I came in today to start the cremation process. Emotional and scared. Lesley took care of my father and I and we got exactly what we wanted for my baby. Her customer service was great! She was very polite and professional. This is my second experience with VEG and both times I was very satisfied.

LITERALLY THE BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY ! They overcharge worse than the emergency room AND LITERALLY DO NOTHING. They don’t even tell you what’s wrong with your animal. If you’re having an emergency DO NOT GO HERE !!!

Very very poor. Checked in, waited 2 hours. Phone was busy couldn’t call.. was suppose to get dog out of car, COVID., Don’t go here. Try another place. This is my second time in a year. Not coming back ????

Amazing People in this Vet. My Dog was giving Birth, at 1 p-m Today Thanksgiving Day, I have been Going Thru all the other vets being closed, Went to this location at 8pm after 7 hours labor .I was going to loose My Dog Mocha. SHE GAVE BIRTH EARLY.SHE NEEDED EMERGENCY C-SECTION. God Bless Mrs. Doctor Moises for saving My dogs Mocha Life . We have been fasting since Yesterday. God is real . I highly recommend VEG Tampa. I want to sincerely thank Dr.Moses, Teena Hailey, Michelle and Vanessa for taking care of my Zumo lastnight in his emergency care in which he was stabbed by a neighbor. I was a complete disaster crying and they got to work and made sure my big baby was taken care of. This meant so much to me my dog is just like one of my children. Thank you ladies very much. I'll never forget what you all did to care for my baby boy and I highly will recommend VEG Tampa especially Dr.Moses and her team to every and anyone I know. :) so happy my boy was stitched up sent home with meds ???? ???? you are all truly a blessing from God.

Had an emergency with my pup. He looked really uncomfortable and I had no idea what was wrong either him. Called my located vet to make an appointment but I didn't want to wait that long because my dog was clearly in pain. They recommended emergency vet group. The staff here are extremely nice and courteous. They are attentative and helped me throughout the entire process. They found out what was wrong with him within the hour and made sure he was comfortable and not in pain. Went to pick him up about an hour later and gave me medication to take home. He is doing 100% better.

Our poor lab had post-op complications, and we rushed him to this clinic very late on a Friday. An overconfident vet had assured us that he would be in no pain (even though a surgery was performed on him?!) and would have no bleeding at all post-procedure. Turns out our poor boy was bleeding non-stop from the incision site and there was extreme swelling. Upon entering the clinic, the staff was immediately the best, they did their absolute best to assure that he could come in with as little discomfort as possible. He is huge, but they brought out a gurney, and even offered to move our car for us to allow us to be inside with him. There was a little wait unfortunately because all vet clinics are short-staffed due to everyone quitting during the pandemic, but they gave us our own room, and even offered us cupcakes to keep us awake and fed. The doctor was incredible, very gentle, explained everything thoroughly and constantly reassured us. I unfortunately cannot remember her name or that of the staff members, but everyone was so incredible and kind even if it was very late and they were all overworked and exhausted. INCREDIBLE STAFF. Everyone in healthcare, whether for us or animals needs to take a page out of their book. They prescribed our boy the necessary medications and told us exactly what was going on. They let repeating information and explaining everything to make sure we were aware of everything and I cannot thank them enough for taking such good care of him. Again thank you to the staff and doctors working the nightshift on December 3rd, you were fantastic!

In a very dire moment for our family, this group of individuals rushed us right in and stayed with us through the whole process, on Thanksgiving no less. Fully staffed, calming, and very honest. Unfortunately our dog was not lucky enough to come home, but they made the process as easy as it could have been in that moment. I can’t thank them enough.

Avery the receptionist was very helpful with my sick dog, she helped me through the process and even gave me some great tips after picking blaze up!Keep up the great work :)

They are one of the best emergency clinics. Everyone was caring, which is amazing because everyone was very busy. There were so many animals with emergencies and multiple people made time to explain what is happening and made me and my kitten as comfortable as possible. Thank you from me and Reed Richards.

Went there on Sunday around 11 AM as my pup had a severe ear infection. Completed the forms sent via text to my cell and then the front desk said I could leave and they will call me when it's time to see him as it would be several hours. They never contacted me.

Very happy with our recent visit! After calling ahead they had us do a quick online check in form and when we got there they were ready to see us! All the staff was super friendly and helpful and we were seen and my pup treated very quickly! He is back to feeling 100% and I would definitely use their services if it was needed again. *Update- After our visit a month ago for a minor GI issue, we had to go back last night for a traumatic injury. In spite of being SUPER busy, they saw us quickly and did an amazing job taking care of the injury. Can’t say enough good things about the skills, compassion, and professionalism of the staff here!

We made an emergency trip here a few days ago with my youngest dog. He goes to doggie daycare and although he had the bordetella vaccine, he unfortunately came down with what I suspected as kennel cough which I’ve never experienced with any of our other dogs. I gave him a couple days at home in hopes he would improve on his own but his health was declining. I started to worry it might be more serious and took him in. In a panic, I didn’t even think to call ahead but luckily for us they were able to see us right away. The vet techs and the vet were all so sweet and helpful. They answered any questions I had and had us out with some antibiotics in no time. My pup is already feeling better and acting like himself again. I’m so glad I took him. This place obviously cares about their patients.

Dont bother coming here. Charged over 200 for just looking and prescribing pain meds. No proper diagnosis nothing. Clueless staff. Ridiculous

Great staff, very attentive and respectful towards both me and my pet!

Awful experience, we brought in our terminally ill dog and asked if they could please peacefully put her to sleep. We were told yes for a substantial price, upon being brought into the back room we were greeted with a large area with two exam tables and little folding chairs with other clients with ill dogs just waiting to be seen. Nothing in the place has any sense of privacy, very unprofessional, we heard a employee bring to the attention of one of the other staff that a cat the was diabetic had not been given its medicine 6 hours since it was due, to which she replied “I know we have been very busy”. Unacceptable treatment for both the sick animals coming in and their owners.

Took my cat in yesterday evening after seeing blood in my cats urine after they were recommended by vets near me. Very efficient, super friendly and explained everything. Was there less than 2 hrs and left with medications for my cat until I can get her into the vet’s office. Thank you to everyone that works here, you guys are awesome!

VEG were simply angels caring for our little dog Troy. They did everything they could to help him and try to make him better. They were very attentive and compassionate. They kept me updated on every step of the way up until the very end when we had to say goodbye. I highly recommend this emergency veterinarian office if you have any emergency issues that may come up with your pet.
