The new store manager there is a an absolute sweet heart! She goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied and have what you need! The rest of the staff is really friendly and helpful as well! Definitely well worth the visit!

Very friendly staff. Although there were not many varieties of fish from which to choose, they had most of what you will need for any other type of pet.

The selection with products as well as animals was impressive, much better quality and care from what I've seen at big box stores. As well as having animal hospital on site is a big plus.

Very large selection from cats and dogs all the way up to aquatics and exotics. Extremely friendly staff who greet you as soon as you walk in the door and help you navigate the store. They do carry small animals as well if your looking to add a pocket pet to your family ! Plus a animal hospital on site !

This Depot Has a very large Selction you can choose from, and very help suggestions from staff. Personally the experience is well worth the vist especially when your a reptile and aracnid lover. Thats quite the selection to have in my opinion. All and all the staff and store is a great spot to shop. For all your needs

Had a great visit! Lilly helped me out figuring out everything during my visit and she was wonderful and very caring with my dog! He actually had fun at the vet for once!! Prices were good, and a very sweet staff! Will be back again!

First impressions are not everything, it was great the first time there but after several times back now things have changed. Rude employees, can't even smile, let alone get off their butt to help a paying customer.

Monday afternoon I was in the store for the first time just browsing, and I'm assuming it was the owner or a manager and a employee at the front having a conversation about why he was leaving. Conversations like that need to happen in private and not where customers can overhear the problems associates are having it was a huge turn off and I honestly will not be back because of what I overheard from them. And for future reference from someone who is in the HR field don't make excuses for the problems fix them.

After just moving to the area I am so glad I found this store! Not only are the associates friendly but they carry the food my dog absolutely loves at a price that's better then Petsmart down the street and I would much rather shop at a more mom and pop place then a big box store. #HELPTHESMALLBUSINESS

As long as the current staff sticks around I will be more then happy to spend my money here. From the manager down to the associates everybody seems happy to be at work and know a lot about everything in the store. They work together to help the customer and that is what counts!

Worst place ever the manager didn't even know what he was talking about supposedly the owner called me she made no sense. All I wanted to do was adopt a cat. The people in charge of the store are not qualified so in turn the animals suffer. Really ridiculous please don't go there they have no idea what a pet store is to do

I always go here for my dog. This place always has great cashier's that display great customer service. I always find the right products for my dog and the prices are affordable. If you don't want to go to the big pet stores I recommend Pet Depot, they will have a variety of pet essentials including pets for sale.

Our dog, Pixie, loves coming to Pet Depot to have her nails trimmed. She typically is a nervous chihuahua, but she will walk right up to the vet techs and gives them kisses. She knows they will take care of her and give her a pain free mani

Here’s my situation. On 5/1/2021, I bought a bag of dog food that was discounted 10% off due to a hole in the bag. I’ve bought plenty of food in the past from here with no issues. The next day, cracked open the bag and gave my dog some new food. He threw up after 15 minutes. (Didn’t eat fast, also had water and took his time). So I chalked it up to, maybe it’s the heat outside. No biggie I tried again that evening. (Still a bit warm outside but pups’ been inside all day to Keep hill cool.) He threw it up again. Now it’s got me thinking. The next day (mothers day) I tried one more time, he looked at the bowl and wouldn’t touch it. This further solidified that there was something wrong with this food I bought. Yesterday I went back to the store and explained this to the clerk ( we’ll call her K for privacy reasons). I explained the situation at hand to Miss K and I was also aware of the stores policy on returns and refunds. (receipt outlines 30 day refund and no take backs on discounted sale items...nothing about store credit or exchanging for something else) despite me explaining this to Miss K and even telling her that There is absolutely no way I would feed this to any animal if it made them sick. The response she gave me was, “ i’m sorry but there’s nothing we can do unfortunately.” Naturally I requested to speak to a manager to gain some more insight to which the response I got was. “ I’m really sorry it’s just me here today.” Now mind you I looked in the back of the shop and the vet place had folks behind it and the other patrons in a store plus I really couldn’t discern who else was an employee so I’ll take that at face value. Ultimately I then dejected and said, “ so there’s literally nothing that can be done with this food that made my dog sick twice and there’s no chance for even store credit or to exchange for something else.” To which that answer was also, “I’m really sorry about that there’s nothing that we can do.” Curious I asked Miss K about the reason there was a hole in the bag. It took her a bit of time to answer this but the response I got was that it perhaps happened when they were moving a bag and a hole appeared, so it quickly got patched up. Now how that hole got there never got answers fully. So Miss K and North Tampa Pet Depot, thank you for your concern and response in regards to the situation that was conveyed from your employee Miss K. Since it’s clear that nothing really can be done. I just hope no other patrons purchase products from your store that gets their beloved creatures sick.

Not so many pets two cats in cages. Clean store but cashier wanted to go home and not very motivated to sell anything. Very rude telling my grandaughter it was a dog toy she wanted to buy. Not very friendly and definitely not a good sales person. You dont put cats in cages.
