Such a phenomenal vet! Everyone from the front desk, to the office manager, and of course the vets are compassionate and wonderful. As my dog gets older with more health issues, we are at the right place. Dr Dunsar and Preston are amazing

This place is great! Dr. Mueller was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. My skittish cat loved her as well as the vet techs and staff. The staff are very nice and helpful. 10/10 recommend. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Tampa.

I found Hyde Park Vet about a month or two ago since moving to Tampa with my 13 year old persian cat. I did receive bad news and I've been coming in weekly to get my cat pain injections to keep her as comfortable as i can. I do want to say that the entire staff has treated me so well during this hard process and David at the front desk has been especially caring and so sweet. The love and care my cat has received has meant the world to me! I will continue to recommend this place to everyone.

My husband surprised me with a puppy on 5/1/19, and I found Hyde Park Vet after googling closest vet with great reviews. I have brought my dog here faithfully since then and I am never disappointed. Whether it’s an issue or routine I always feel I receive the best services, and they show they really love my dog. I can always get an appointment soon, I never feel rushed and they answer all my questions. I recently had her spayed, and had contemplated doing the surgery at a low cost facility. After finally deciding on staying with Hyde Park my husband and I are glad we did! Thank you Hyde Park staff from the front staff to the back staff for everything! Reina and I greatly appreciate you all!!

Recently adopted a heartworm positive dog - visited Dr. Mueller - she got my dog all squared away with vaccines and necessary meds to make the transition from shelter to home, Dr. Mueller also answered every one of my questions completely without making me feel rushed - staff is also quick to be helpful and informative - I felt I was getting my money's worth out of every visit - will certainly return

Dr Mueller has been our vet thru some tough times and has been there to support and guide us; she's been a blessing.. Front desk staff is super nice and seem to really care.

We love Hyde Park Vet!! We have been coming here for three years and every time my dog gets so excited to go in. However, for 3 years I’ve been meaning to give a shout out to David at the front desk. He is the true example of exceptional customer service as is the entire front desk. He is always over the top pleasant, responsive and accommodating. ????

I have honestly never been to a worse vet. I had my appointment this past Monday for my 14 week old puppy and I was trying to give the medical director, Preston, the benefit of the doubt before solidifying my opinion on the facility. I showed up for my appointment a little early that day and received a call from my vet tech who never told me his name and actually did not even tell me where he was calling from just said " I see your dog has never been here before" after I answered. He was not very pleasant from the start and began just questioning her shots and if I got her from a breeder when my records state that I did. He called my previous reputable vet "pebble creek or whatever that place is you took her to". From there I was hesitant but since my pup has had problems since I got her I figured I'd stick it out and stay even though every part of me wanted to say forget it with the way Jason (had to get his name from their website) was talking to me. He kept saying none of her shot records were on her records that my vet sent me and I was just saying how that was weird because I asked them to send me everything so they should be. Then he questioned me on if I even got her from a breeder and if that breeder had a vet? Yes my dog is pure bred and had a health clearance WHICH if he read her records he would have seen that. So I was confused and simply stated "I'm sorry I am just a little confused I was asked to send over all of her records and all of this is in there, were you not able to see them?". He then comes out to get my dog (or so I thought). But nope printed out all of her medical records and said "I wanted to show you that her first set of puppy shots are not on here since you wanted to make it seem like it was my fault". ????? How is that his fault??? I was just confused as to why they were not there and after that he said he would just call her previous vet but then felt the need to come out and prove he was right when I never said he was wrong? He gave me extremely weird and uncomfortable energy so much so that my golden retriever puppy who LOVES everybody even men would not even go near him. And she has loved all of the vet staff she has ever encountered, she has been to the emergency vet 3 times and still loved all of them. That right there should have been my sign to just leave. But instead I told him I was not arguing with him I just found it weird the would not put her shots on her records when sending them over. I asked him if I could have a different vet tech because he was being very rude and making communication very difficult and his response was, "nope, actually you can take this and leave". He couldn't put his ego aside for my dog to get the care she deserved. I was so disgusted I told him to go f*** himself when he proceeded to tell me not to try to come back. To Jason, the minute I said those words to you I am baffled that you think I would ever go back to a clinic that hires someone like you. I am in the medical field and I do not care if you were having a bad day you do NOT speak to someone like that. Preston never called me back nor did the Vet that was supposed to see my dog that day. This place does not care about their clients or the animals. I know a few of their clients there and all of them I have told are also disgusted. Preston calling me would not have made me ever want to go there again but it would have shown they care about their clients. Clearly they do not. Save your money and go to one of the many other vets around the area. I left there and found an amazing one the same day who has been so respectful and amazing and loving to my little girl. It's sad they said it was good to find a vet that suits me when all the vet did was treat myself and my dog with respect...... disgusting establishment this place is.

I Initially came here for a second opinion on a diagnosis that my dog received from another super popular clinic in tampa. They suspected something else was going on with my dog, ran the required tests and referred me to the neurologist. There were complications along the way with treatment but they knew exactly what to do and got him taken care of. My dog might not be here if it wasn't for them. They're professional, knowledgeable, caring and I love this place. They do their research and discuss with each other best plans of action to get your buddy taken care of ( which I have found is super important in any Healthcare field). I'm a forever customer. ????????

Great service. Took the dog in for shots and to have his nails trimmed. They took him in and within 15 minutes or so he was done and we were on our way.

My wife has used this group for years with only minimal negative occurs CE’s. My recent experience is not so fortunate. I was to hear of the VERY EGREGIOUS costly hematology test results on Tuesday. I was told the vet who ordered the tests had to be the one to share the results. Instead, the vet violated Florida law as to confidentiality sharing the results yesterday will unauthorized individual and has not shared them with me. I am a licensed healthcare provider and know this was wrong. These female vets exude with a sense over their over importance that “someone died and made them queens”. Beware of the EXORBITANT costs. I owned x2 moderately complex clinical hematology labs. They are charging x5 the actual cost of the lab requisition costs. Buyer beware! Highly unethical.

Have brought a handful of pets here over the years. Excellent doctors and friendly staff. Worth every penny.

Best Vet in Tampa! Staff is awesome and very knowledgeable. They respond quick and are on top of everything. I always feel safe and welcome here. They always know who I am and treat my dog and I like family. Most importantly they always take great care of my dog!

I recently moved to Tampa, Florida with my new puppy and picked this vet for her care. The visits were over the phone due to COVID, but my first few encounters of calling and speaking to the staff was not the best, maybe they are just extremely busy, but the mannerism was not courteous or professional in my opinion. I felt the customer service could use some work, but not enough to switch vets. My dog was seen once for an illness and after being seen was sent home with extra prescriptions that she really did not need (posed as more optional by recommended by the vet) great $300 bill....that was fine and I understood, but the 2nd time my pup was sick I emailed in when they were closed and asked several questions regarding her condition. This clinic opens @ 7:30AM...they responded at 9:30 saying the just then forwarded it to the Vet for review. At 12PM I received a call from the front desk saying I had medication and a vet diet ready for pick up....so this vet decided to prescribe a medication and a vet prescribed kibble without seeing my pup, and also did not have a Vet or Tech call or email back to explain why and answer my questions. A puppy who is 15 weeks and has excessive diarrhea, and no water intake is very serious, the fact that they were more concerned about selling product a second time than the well being of my 15 week puppy shows their lack of care. I do not trust my Purebred Bernese to them and I am switching vets and do not recommend coming to this vet.

I’ve been taking my dog to Hyde Park Vet since we moved here two years ago. They are very kind, compassionate and professional. Everyone at the front desk is very friendly. The office is clean and the animals are cared for.

Amazing staff and really compassionate veterinarians. Dr. Muller has helped us so much in these first few months with our husky puppy. She spends as much time as we need and answers all our questions fully. We feel confident they will continue to keep our puppy happy and healthy!

Not even one out of the ~5 people I spoke to made me feel anything aside from happy and comfortable. I'm beyond thankful I found a safe place to bring my pup. My first visit was an emergency visit yesterday. The office staff treated me so kindly and quickly whisked my pup to the back when I explained he was having trouble breathing. I was incredibly scared. Due to the current circumstances regarding the virus, the veterinarian gave me a thorough consultation via the phone and assured me he was going to be just fine. I had used a new cleaning product that caused him to have a reverse sneeze. They even let him stay a bit longer so I could go home and open the windows and air out my condo.
