My first cremation was done through my vet's office, and my Angel was returned in a beautiful small cherry wood box. I just lost my beloved boy and I was very disappointed to have him returned in a cardboard canister. When I called I was told I could get that box, but for $45 more. One would think at $200, something a bit more respectful and tasteful than recycled cardboard. It really made the situation even more saddening to receive so little value in his honor.

We highly recommend calling these folks when the time comes. They're care and service is most appreciated.

I have never thought of using an outside service to assist with a pet that has passed away until our sweet, 16 year old Sasha passed at our home unexpectedly. Honor Thy Pet was prompt with pickup from our home (1 hour from call), very kind and compassionate, and assisted with the entire process and decisions that had to be made. So glad this company exists for such a difficult time ????

A few months ago we had to say goodbye to our big German shepherd "Mojo". We made arrangements with Honor Thy Pet to be at our vets office for just after the passing of Mojo. Bryan was the representative from Honor Thy Pet that came to collect Mojo. Bryan was very professional and compassionate. He confirmed all of the services we had ordered then proceeded to come back with a proper stretcher and nice soft velvet blankets for Mojos last ride. Bryan was very careful to make sure Mojo was in a comfortable position on the stretcher and covered up nicely. He asked if I wanted more time with Mojo, said I could take as long as I need. I asked Bryan if I could help to carry Mojo the the van instead of him being wheeled out. He allowed me this last journey. Even at the van, he asked if I need a few minutes with Mojo. All I can say is Bryan was exceptional and made everything flow so easily in such a hard time. A few days later Mojos remains were ready for pickup. He was in a beautifully made doghouse with his name on it. We had a clipping of his fur and also a paw print in clay. There was a very nice card with everything and all was presented in a nice cloth bag. I could not of asked for a better service than we got. Mojo was a great pup and is sorely missed. Thank you for everything you guys at Honor Thy Pet have done for us. Sorry this review is a few months after our services.

I had a beautiful funeral service and burial for my cat yesterday arranged by Honor Thy Pet. I experienced professionalism, calm and competence from Andy, who received my cat in Tampa, to Shawn, who greeted me with much compassion and patience. My heart was comforted and settled during the entire experience and was certain that I made the right decision to choose Honor Thy Pet for my cat’s resting place. I am grateful to each of the staff that participated in giving my cat a honorable and dignified farewell. From my heart, I thank you! Highly recommend this place.

I was treated with the utmost respect and care when having to go through one of the hardest times. The kindness and compassion you all showed me and my Gypsy Rose restored my faith that there are still angels who walk this earth. Maddie you truly are an angel... Your voice alone could calm an ocean. Steve even though you got soaked in the pouring rain you showed my baby nothing but gentleness when you picked her up. My Pomeranian passed away at 11 at night and this was the only place near me that was opened, so I gave it a chance. I was so distraught I didn't read anything about it. Apparently they'll pick your pet up from your house/vet; because I didn't know this I just showed up and called. They aren't in the best of neighborhoods, so I was a little nervous, but the lady on the phone was extremely sweet and understanding and sent someone to the building. The gentleman who took care of all of the paper work was very nice as well and didn't rush the process or try to take my dog away and usher me out. I also bought a beautiful urn from them with a name plate. Then when I went to pick him up, the woman who brought him to me was very compassionate and kept telling me she was sorry for my loss and even gave me a hug. I hope I don't have to anytime soon, but I will definitely bring my other pets here when that time comes. Thank you all for everything you did for me and my baby

Our 12 year old Black lab passed away yesterday afternoon and Honor Thy Pet was so nice and kind they answered all my families questions, was very respectful by telling us to take all the time we needed while offering to wait outside until we were ready and when they did come inside to pick up our sweet girl they were so polite and gentle with her My family is so glad we chose them to take care of our sweet girl Will add to this once we pick up her urn

We run a small pet rescue, and sometimes nothing can be done to save these little souls. Honor Thy Pet has always been professional and sympathetic. They handle each baby as if it were their own and allow you time to cry. Unlike the local vets, they do not price gauge. This is a good business with a caring staff.

I have used Honor Thy Pet for my loved ones on several occasions. Always professional and it doesn't matter what time you call they will be there even under the threat of a hurricane. Called the supposed Lakeland office to find out information about having my kitten cremated. The people who answered #1 aren't even in Lakeland and #2 the dont service my area. Why the heck advertise that you serve polk County when you don't? If you only service the Lakeland area the freaking say that. After finding out they can't help me I try to get off the line and the lady won't stop talking over me about this and that and the other. Why? You can't help me, stop wasting my time. Very insensitive, I just lost my freaking baby, shut up and let me make arrangements elsewhere for her!

Honor Thy Pet was wonderful during a most difficult time in the loss of our Ebony. Together with Blue Pearl Veterinary Hospital, everyone we worked with showed compassion and caring. All of the extra touches they provided helped so much.

I cannot say enough good about Honor Thy Pet. My bulldog passed suddenly and unexpectedly Easter night. They came and got her and gently and lovingly took care of everything. I'm truly grateful.

Today our 21yr old cat Harley was brought home to us by Honor Thy Pet. Tyler, who was very professional, picked him up & brought him home to us. This made it easier for us & I love that they had this service. Not only did we get Harley in a nice urn, but we also received a paw print, a cutting of his hair & all in a nice bag. This was such a sad, horrible time for our family and this place left me in aww. They were extremely caring and I can't even describe the care they gave when they came to my house on a Sunday within an hour to pick up our sweet girl. The man that picked her up treated her so kind like she was a person. I was literally speechless! Thank you so much for making something beautiful out of something so horrible. Every person I spoke to treated me with such kindness and seemed like they genuinely cared.

I never thought I'd recover when I had to put my 20 year old cat down over a week ago. She was my best friend. I had never done a traditional burial service for a pet. I really didn't know what an amazing experience I was missing... or just how much it would help. Typically, burying a pet is the last thing I want to remember. It's just something that needs to be done... and it has never been something that actually helped the healing process. Honestly, it really just made me feel even worse. Now, after having my cat memorialized in a beautiful place that has so much respect for your loved one, I see the importance of having a real burial service in a memorial park. Honor Thy Pet really does care for your loved one. Respect and compassion fill the place. And the people are SO considerate. The whole process gave a format for grieving my loss with family and loved ones. It REALLY helped and was the least I could do for my friend who had given me so much joy through her life. I should also mention that they pick your pet up very quickly and the person who came to my house couldn't have been more respectful. Every part of this process helped me. I still miss my cat but I do feel like there has been some real closure and that has helped so much in not getting hung up on those final, rough days that were so horrible but to think about all of the joy and love my cat brought me. Honor Thy Pet Tampa assisted in the cremation of my 7 year old Labrador Retriever in February and they were efficient, compassionate and professional. I know they treated her with dignity and the care she deserved when she passed. Me and my husband personally thank you all????

Beautiful place, and the compassion and care from the staff made this difficult process so much easier. Thank you for caring for our pet as much as we do. We lost our poodle early in the morning near 6 am, and we were able to call right away and plan our next steps. They came and picked up our baby and planned our burial the next day. Took such good care of our Buddie and followed our requests as far as what we wanted him buried in and what toys we wanted him to be buried with. They were so accommodating. Thankful for places like this, and the owner said he makes sure he is there for every burial to meet the family. Such a nice place.

Recently we had to make the terrible decision to put down our dear family dog Shasta. One of my children made the suggestion to pursue cremation and we chose Honor Thy Pet. From beginning to end the professional and caring staff kept us updated about the process and everyone we encountered from the gentleman that picked up our pet to the person that returned her to us exhibited such compassion and caring. All staff seemed to truly understand our grief. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We now will have a wonderful way to have our pet with us forever. Thank you!

I wish I could give more stars than 5. Unfortunately, our family had to utilize your services TWICE in under two weeks - to say it has been a sad month would be putting it lightly. The drivers that came out to pick up / bring home our beloved pets were beyond kind, empathetic, and compassionate. That was so needed and appreciated. I was not expecting such a lovely return of the ashes. The paw prints and bit of fur to remember them by....I broke down in tears and am so grateful. I cannot imagine how difficult your jobs are, but am so appreciative that you do what you do. From our family to yours, thank you very much for showing such kindness during such a sad time. <3 <3 <3
