Poor service. Slow wait times even with an appointment. Still only drop off only and the staff takes a very long time to answer the phone and come get the pet. They have also mixed up our dogs prescriptions before, as well as overcharged us. The prices are insane. Prescriptions on Chewy are less than half the price at Banfield. Unfortunately we are stuck here until our wellness plan is up.

My dog got attacked today by another at our training class. I was really concerned about some puncture wounds that he had and wanted to get them checked out and get him some antibiotics if he needed them. I thought cool I have the pet wellness plan for him,this should be no problem. But boy was I wrong. I literally called around 10 banfield hospitals near my house out in largo and everyone I called either couldn't or wouldn't take me. I understand it was last minute but I figured this is what I pay for,for good and reliable care. Everyone I spoke to kept saying I had to go to an emergency vet because it "sounded" like he needed surgery, and they wern't equipment for that, nor did they have time for that.(he didn't need surgery) I was so upset,thinking why am I paying for this and no one will help me,I can't afford to go pay hundreds of dollars just to get checked on,not counting any meds or procedures he might have needed.but finally I called this location and they agreed to wait for me to drive 40 minutes to go see him and the staff was so amazing. They were so good with my boy and they were so quick and thorough on explaing to me what they were doing to help him and what I needed to continue to do for him at home. The vet was absolutely wonderful, she saw my pupper instantly and took care of him within a half an hour. I am so grateful to these guys and I will be driving here from my area just to get the great care. And good experience from now on. I definitely recommend this vet 100%.

Top notch service and friendly

My little boy has been a customer of Banfield since we moved to FL (two years ago). He has developed many allergies. They're always nice to him and take good care of him. That is what matters to us. We drive 40 minutes to the Town and Country location because that is the one he likes, even though there are closer ones. Dr. Rubin is amazing and has brought my handsome boy back to health!!!

The staff was extremely hospitable, and explained the treatment process for my pet rather well.

A business that is more interested in money than their patients. Do not take your pets here. And never get any plans that they offer. Total scam!

Dr Rubin is the most caring vet . Our bulldog has a bunch of problems and other vets seemed lost. Dr Rubin has got our dog back to great shape. Best vet in Banfield.

Ok so I waited to see if I can get this taken before writing this, this was an awful experience. Not only was I unsealed for anesthesia and biopsy not needed. But my cat was dropped or held onto when he was trying to flee.. his tooth was broken, k9 tooth. Needs to be pulled but when I was asked to take him to a different facility after what happened I was assured 4 weeks ago or more that the office manager would get an appt to have it pulled at citrus park office. But it is now 4 weeks later and no resolution has been made. Getting frustrated and calling the corporate offices gets you the same results. So be wary... never had a problem before but won't be back, and I would not be making this review if this had been handled properly.

My dogs always gone to Banfield pet hospital they've always treated my dogs like they were their own and I love having the pet insurance it has been a big help

Have been with Banfield for year in PA and just moved to Tampa. This Banfield was great. Nice customer service and u felt my dog was in good care.

I've personally never been here, but I have a friend who works here and says it's good.

Never worried about bringing my dog here. The Dr.s are fantastic and Kit is my boy. Great work.

I would 109% recommend this Banfield Pet Hospital. They were very affordable, patient and caring. They took the time to answer all my concerns and took great care of my little guy.

I love Dr. Estralla and drive a little extra to have her see my pets. She was very good. She found a heart murmur in my sweet older cat which is sometimes hard for vets to catch in cats. I know to appreciate Sparkles, my cat, more each day. Dr. Estralla is a wonderful vet and I'm glad she decided to stay in the Tampa bay area.

This office has been amazing! We moved here in April 2018 and they have cared for our 2 dogs since then. Recently we had to put our senior dog down. Bailee had been with me for 14 years, this was an extremely difficult decision for me, but this office was so professional and respectful! Especially during a pandemic. I apologize for not remembering everyone...but I appreciate Dr Rodriguez and Kit for their kindness and professionalism during this process. I know their was another nurse and dr that helped the day of, but sadly it’s a blur for me. I do appreciate and respect them too! They were so kind and professional!

Everyone was an absolute pleasure and our Aussiedoodle was in great hands with the Dr. Rodriguez and our nurse Shannon!! We will be back , no question :)

My first experience at Banfield was not a good one over at the Citrus Park location. My experience at the Oldsmar location, however, was proof that my previous experience was a one off situation thanks to Dr Estrella and Gina's professionalism and willingness to help.

I called to cancel my wellness plan after a terrible visit yesterday. But Michelle not only took the time to listen, she handled all my needs and respected my time. Employees like her are hard to find, and not only did I decide to not cancel, I scheduled my next visit.

Katie is the best !! She handled a prescription for us that was not being handled by another location and seen it through for us!! She truly loves pets and went above and beyond to solve our issue! Great Service is hard to find.

I moved from MA to tampa, FL 4 weeks ago. I used to go to the banfield in Manchester CT and was heartbroken leaving there because the staff there was empathetic, loving, and the care of my dog was exceptional. I wasn't sure I would find that again. I had my first appointment today for my dog Belle and worked with Dr Rubin and the vet tech Michelle and I can't express how HAPPY I am with their service, care, friendliness, and patience with my dog Belle. I am happy to have a new home in a loving vet facility and can now rest assured that my Belle is in great hands! As a pet owner you worry about these things, but I can 100% state that Belle will be taken care of.

Dr. Rodriguez is an excellent Dr. However the rest of the staff is horrible. They don't have the ability to get anything done. 2 separate instances jumping through hoops to have them get me a prescription for my dogs food that he has been on for the last 2 years and they are the ones who prescribed it.
