My dog wS very sick with allerys.I was treated poorly in Other aces.I decided to go to affordable pet hospital and have no regrets.the Vet and staff are very compassionate.

Our old dog had reached the end of the road, and it was time to put him down. The entire staff made this difficult time as easy and pleasant as possible. A few days later a post card with his nose and paw print showed up signed by the entire staff. The kindness and professionalism shown by everyone was a real bright spot during a dark time.

Unfortunately taking my dog here was a huge mistake. He went in for a routine teeth cleaning. He even had a check up prior to the teeth cleaning to ensure he was good to go. I took him to have his teeth cleaned and he wasn't ready until several hours after I was told he would be which worried me. He was also discharged to me with an ecollar. After taking him home and removing his collar so he could eat I noticed he was intensely licking a spot on his leg. He also wasn't recovering from the anesthesia and seemed to be extremely uncomfortable. I took him back the following day and had them check the growing sore on his side. They claimed to not know what it was and I caught the vet tech in at least 2 lies. I was told to give him a few days and left with a cream for his wound. After waiting for him to recover he got worse. He wouldn't eat. He was shaking. He wouldn't move and didn't want me to touch him. I had to finally take him to the emergency vet where I was told as soon as the doctor saw his now BLACK And RED skin that it was a burn from the table they use when they put the animals under for procedures. The table apparently has a heating element. The emergency doctor immediately identified the blackened skin and red bumps around his wound as a burn. My dog SUFFERED for DAYS because of their negligence and lies. He was shaking in pain. He has no voice. He counts on humans to protect him and he was FAILED. He has a burn up his entire side and lost almost a pound from not eating. Our pets should be the safest in a vets office and he wasn't.

Dr Morris is the most dedicated Vet in Wesley Chapel. Anna is extremely professional and kind. She is gentle with our puppy!

This place saved my dog’s life. They were able to squeeze us in for an emergency appointment and did surgery to remove 9 bladder stones. Patricia was so kind and patient with us. She explained everything to us and gave our fur baby extra love. Dr. Morris diagnosed him quickly and performed the surgery to save him. We found our new vet for our pup! Thank you!

We called the same day for a last minute appointment, and they were able to schedule me promptly. The vet and everyone were extremely compassionate and professional. And the vet was very thorough with her examination and explained the potential causes and treatment clearly and transparently. They also called the next day to follow-up on my dog’s health. Be aware dog ear infection from Affordable Pet Hospital will cost over $1,000. The first swab and medication was $360, the follow up required another swab plus a culture dish growth to send to a national lab and then they would send to the CDC, over $600. Last follow up, got quote on the phone and when I got there, it was again more than $300. Stay away from these unprofessional crooks.

I brought my sons cat in recently and saw dr Morris she was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions her tech Patricia was so sweet and handled my with my sons cat with great care highly recommended

Every single person took care of my big ole brute of a dog with just as much love and care as I do! They took the time to explain everything to us and still we were in and out. And the follow up call was VERY appreciated! With a pitbull-type dog, I always worry about their care. I’m glad I finally found a vet with staff that really does treat my pets like their own!

Austin (vet tech) was very friendly and helpful calming my puppy down while getting shots, nails trimmed, and exams. The Vets here are knowledgeable and help you understand what you need to do to keep your pet healthy and safe. This is greatly appreciated as a first time puppy owner! I would definitely recommend to other dog owners in the area!

My experiences at Affordable Pet have been wonderful, despite the circumstances sometimes. I have found Dr Morris and Patricia to be thorough, kind, educating, professional, attentive and a pleasure to trust them with my babies, my 2 cats-Little Rosie and Finnegan. Customer experience is worse than buying a car at the dealership. I brought my dog on scheduled appointment and they keep you in a small room for hours and keep bring quotes for services I did not want. Eventually they keep you there until they shake you down to pay. Oh, when it was time to pay, their internet was down and I had to wait another hour for their point of sales to come back up. I will never come to Affordable Pet Hospital again

I have been going here with my two cats for a long time and have always received excellent service. Today, Lizzie the Busy Bee made me very comfortable in letting her give them their nail trims and annual shots. Thank you so much for all your care to my two kitties!

I had been coming to this vet for almost 6 years. There were no issues at all until Dr. Morris started. My dog was diagnosed with a condition back in May 2021, & after hundreds of dollars later, we still do not know the root of the problem. This doctor does not pay attention to the concerns of pet parents (I’ve had to answer the same questions multiple times). She sedated my dog for an AFAST ultrasound & claimed it would not be a “regular sedation”. My dog hyperventilated for 30 mins afterwards & was unable to move without assistance. We were not told of any possible side effects ahead of time. Dr. Morris also “recommended” many expensive mediations even though she later said (almost verbatim) that she was unsure if they would help the situation, & I should have been aware of that (unprofessional verbiage, by the way). She also previously prescribed a pill sedative which had bad mental effects on my dog. I’ve paid so much money since May & have yet to obtain any concrete cause for my dog’s condition. Please take your pet elsewhere. She is just going to want you to pay hundreds of dollars & won’t bother to actually find the root of the problem. This place used to be great. It really is a shame I have to go somewhere else after being loyal for almost 6 years.

Dealt with a young man by the name of “Joey”. He was very professional, courteous and helpful. Joey answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns pertaining to my pet, and was understanding, patient, and professional as well.
