Southwood Animal Hospital is the best. Everyone taking care of your pets is kind and caring. Dr Kasper is amazing as are all of the Vets in the practice. Feel assured that your pets will get the best care. ????????????❤️

Dr. Smith and Gabriella took amazing care of our Lillie for a teeth cleaning and removal of cysts. This was the first time putting Lillie under anesthesia and the Team did a phenomenal job of explaining everything. Wonderful people with great compassion for pets and overly protective dog moms.

Called to make an appointment for my sick cat. I was told that they have a rule of one new client a day, so we couldn’t be seen for over a week. I’ve worked in the industry and have never heard about of such a thing.

I have always had pets and have done extensive rescue volunteering. In all these years, I've never had a bad vet per se but none could compare to The Animal Hospital and Pet Resort! The vets are top notch, the staff is wonderful, and they always make me feel that my Ellie is so important. Recently boarded Ellie in the resort and she loved it! It was nice to take a quick vacation and not worry about Ellie's care. They even sent photos! I've added my very favorite here. My corgi, Gruffydd lives them too!

When I pick my dog up they had been there for three days he was bored bored an active and did not seem to really care about where it was at. He just had a TV blaring and it's sitting on a mat no food nor water. I think David so glad to see you soon we got him we can never do that again they're very bad. My heart goes out to the animals that go there don't bring him there.

My dog and family loves this place. The people are always sweet and I know my dog is safe. Samantha gets excited when she goes to doggie daycare.

I rarely complain. But this is unbearable. It took me 30+ minutes for picking up the medication today. I called the front desk upon my arrival to the parking lot. First they put me on hold for 15 minutes. I felt it's too long so I hung up and called again. They apologized saying they accidentally dropped my line (They couldn't bother to come out to the parking lot and let me know I was dropped. Instead they just let me wait on the phone and expect me to figure out what's going on myself). I accepted the apology and gave my credit card information. The girl told me someone would send the medication to my car in a minute. And I waited for another 10 minutes. No one came out and it's only me in the guest parking lot. I called again and another girl told me I was supposed to grab the medication myself from the bin in front of the building. All these inconsistency and chaos are entirely avoidable by a simple staff meeting/training.

We love Dr. Moodoyan! We hear she is the cat whisperer, although we haven't seen it with our own eyes...yet! Because we moved here right when COVID-19 began, we haven't been able to have an in-person visit yet, but we can say that Dr. Moodoyan is a great communicator on the phone. She really takes the time to explain everything that's going on and answer any questions you may have. All of the front office staff has been lovely to interact with. I feel my animal is in good hands at this facility. We used to use the pet resort frequently and we liked it, but unfortunately it began to stress out our normally docile & playful cat out in an extreme way. We started using a pet sitter, per Dr. Moodoyan's recommendation, and that seems to work out must better for our kitty! This, along with many other things, made me realize that this establishment truly has the best interest of your pet and of course the safety of their staff in mind when making decisions...they're not just looking for your $'s! The time our kitty was so upset at the pet resort, Dr. Moodoyan took the time to call me and come up with a plan for the rest of his stay and I truly appreciated that.

Such a great place for your dogs. Every time we take our dogs here they are excited to go. They also include a bath, dog cologne, and nail trim if you stay over a certain amount of days. This was our dogs' 3rd time staying and it was for 10 days. They send you the best pictures of the dogs too! For added convenience the doctor saw them for their annual check up during their stay!

Dr. Heather Williams was extremely condescending towards me and my husband when we declined the “higher end” of the bill we received. We had an appointment as soon as the vet office opened and were on time but waited an hour for her to see us. Each time we visited, our bills came out to be no less than $200. We were pushed to pay for unnecessary testing, procedures, and medications, and then made to feel guilty when we declined. For that reason, we stopped taking our animals here and now see someone who doesn’t make us feel like all they care about is how much they can profit from us.

Awesome staff!! I boarded my dog there!! It was her first experience being boarded and she wasn't nervous when I picked her up!! I'll take her again!

They love and care for each dog as if they’re their own. My dog loves going to appointments (not usual that a dog loves the vet!) and I can leave her there overnight for boarding. Definitely recommend!

I've been using this vet for the past two years and haven't had any complaints! From minor surgeries to routine nail trims, they are always very helpful and friendly, and they are always willing to address any questions or concerns that I have. I like the integration with PetDesk, which makes it super easy to request an appointment, but it also has a points system so you can get free nail trims or discounts on services with those. I also used to have a Wellness Plan (the lowest tier one), and I think it was worth the money at the beginning because of the free Sentinel, monthly nail trims, and initial check-up/vaccine services, but I ended up cancelling it a few months ago to save money since I was only using the nail trims. Overall, though, the Animal Hospital is great.

My parrot had a medical emergency and they were able to schedule an examination the very next morning. The employees really do care about your pet.

I love taking my baby girl here. She's got all her shots needed and no one is asking for extra just to get money . I can't go in with her but she always appears to be well taken care of. The people are helpful and nice on the phone and in person and have even taken the time to answer my ?? S even if it doesn't seem as important to them they still answer my ?? S knowing it's important to me. I do wish they had a weekend person to clip nails for Nefatari. Great place so far.
