We have been taking our two dogs to Cross Creek for the past 2.5 years now. Dr. Hale is very knowledgeable and is great with our dogs. We have had a good experience with them until recently. Due to COVID, appointments are now drop-off only. Drop-off is not an issue, but the appointments usually last ~8+, which is significantly longer than we would like to leave our dogs. In addition, we recently took one of our dogs in for a rash. They found an overgrowth of bacteria on his skin, so they prescribed him an antibiotic. However, his rash did not improve much even after about two weeks, so we attempted to call them to find out if there was something else we could try. We tried to get in touch with them several times over the course of the week. The main phone number always leads to a full mailbox. While the secondary number goes through to voicemail, our calls are never returned. It is unfortunate that we have to part ways with the vet, but we cannot stand to see our dog suffer like this.

Extremely friendly and helpful. After a vet visit you can usually smell the stress from a dog but when I take mine here I never can. He loves it at this vet and both the techs and vet are caring people who always give detailed reports.

Weve been going here for decades. They really love animals. They are always compassionate and carrying. For us its a long trip across town but doctor Hale and staff keep us coming.

The staff is wonderful! Our dog is on a special diet. They keep it stocked for us and if we need more they order it right away. They are always pleasant to speak to

My silky terrie Mario has developed some gnarly skin infection. Even though no appointment was available the docs worked him in. I took Mario in around 8am and by 1200pm I already had a call with a diagnosis. The Veternarian came out to my car to explain in detail all of the meds and how to use them, also recommended some futuret treatment for dental. The price was reasonable and the receipt broke down all expenses. They even threw in a much needed nail job. I highly recommend Cross Creek animal hospital. Also , not that important, but the veternarian was very cute and sweet!

10/10. Knowledgeable doctors and staff, who love our animals. They offer multiple means of communication voice, video, and texting! (Which is most convenient for me, personally.) Their website is full of information, and direct links to keep on top of any prescriptions, special diets, etc. As of Feb 3rd, 2021, the office is continuing its Covid protocols (such as drop off only, extra cleaning, etc), small precautions, which make visits take a bit longer, but staff keeps you updated the entire time; I always feel safe leaving my animals with them and appreciate the extra measures taken to ensure health and safety of everyone.

i took my dog here as a puppy for his vaccines & they were wonderful when I did that 2 years ago.. HOWEVER, my dog unexpectedly had an awful seizure this week (2nd time in his life) & I called them since he is a patient there, explained that he had a seizure & i wanted to know if I could bring him in that day because I was worried about his well-being.. They said “no, we’re full. You’ll have to find somewhere else to go”. That is what lost ALL of my respect. They made it known they don’t care about my fur baby even though he was a client of theirs. THANKFULLY a found a better vet in town that expressed sympathy & told me they can see him as soon as I could get there.

Cross Creek Animal Clinic is the absolute best vet I have ever taken one of my dogs to. Dr. Hale is an outstanding veterinarian. He and the whole staff at Cross Creek Animal Clinic are exceptional. They treated my very large dog with patience, understanding and love. Dr. Hale took the time to call me and explain everything about my dog's treatment, and he gave me suggestions about how to improve her health. He did not try to up-sell me on any unnecessary treatments like so many other vets have done. The pricing is reasonable and not over the top. I am so glad I found Cross Creek Animal Clinic to care for my dog!

Cross Creek Clinic has always felt like a safe place for me to bring my animals. From the staff to the veterinarians, they have always treated me and my pets with respect and given quality care to my pets. They don’t pressure you into expensive treatments or products. I have great confidence in Dr. Hale’s experience and knowledge and anyone else he brings into his practice. And, they always follow up with a phone call to see how your pet is doing. Never long waits. And once the doc is in the exam room, he takes his time and goes over everything, and genuinely seems like he loves your pet as much as you do.

Dr. Hale has been our vet for nearly 20 years. He listens well to humans, is compassionate and thoughtful, his staff is stellar. He correctly diagnosed a treatable illness my cat had when the emergency vet diagnosed a death-sentence disease. I trust his knowledge and honesty.

Cross Creek worked with us so that we did not have to leave our pet for several hours. We really appreciate that.

Dr. Hale is very knowledgeable and has been a vet for a while. My dog also love the staff, and they've always been super helpful and kind. They also have had good availability during Covid, and they have curbside drop off for the safety of clients and staff.

New to Tallahassee and my pup has an irritation on her ear. I called and they were very nice. Got the appointment set up and thought we were good. Dropped my pup off at 7:30am because they wouldn’t let me inside. That’s okay. I had to be to work at 3pm and I called every 2 hours for 8 HOURS and it was the same response “oh the vet is gonna look at her now.” I finally went up there at 3pm and I stood outside for 45 minutes while they finally took a look at her. Never got to see the Vet or talk to him. Very disappointed in this service. Take the precautions for Covid, but don’t let it take away from the patient care. I do not leave this review lightly.

Wouldn’t let me go in with Crybaby and he had to stay in a cage for hours just for a simple check up. They called me and told me he’d need a 2 thousand dollar procedure and when I asked to talk to Dr. Hale, they told me he’s too busy. When making an appointment you should give time to talk with your client, especially when diagnosing something serious. They gave me a two sentence note with no information. I had to ask for the doctors note, which then I learned everything I could. Really disappointed with the professional help with this place. I will also note Crybaby looked very distressed when being handed to me, and the nurse holding him held him with no comfort or emotion. That of course bothers a fur baby parent. Some of the nurses were very kind on the phone but others need to check their attitude. I advise you to avoid this place if you can.
