This is a business. Google ‘retail rescue’. My experience with them was horrific.

I am very disappointed. We have been denied yet another puppy. Before the excuse was we had no one working from home, now I work from home and we were still denied. We have a beautiful home, clean, no clutter, minimalist. A nice fenced backyard with a play house. We had a detailed plan as to how we would train our puppy and emphasized our puppy would be loved. The biggest disappointment is that the puppy was put back up for adoption. This is why people have to move away from rescue centers and buy from breeders. We as a family were not enough for this rescue or any other.

Are they open? I have been calling and seding emails and I do not get any answers.

I have called these guys three times. I'm interested in adopting one of their dogs. They do NOT return phone calls. I guess they're not interested in finding homes for their dogs.

A dog got caught in my fence and when I let it loose I could see he needed water and food. As I was feeding him I called Big Dog Rescue. They were here within 30 minutes and I live way out Miccosukee. The gentleman who came to pick up the dog was very nice as I couldn't stop crying. Also when I called to check on the dog they were very helpful, answering all my questions about how the dog was doing. Awesome place with awesome people!!! I would have kept him but I already had 6 dogs and they were so understanding.

Rescues dogs, do I really have to say more...

In the end they do place dogs, but working with these blue haired women who think that just because they have a dog they think they have a clue. For the sake of so many canines on death row, I decided to try again... they didn't even care enough to respond. Would not recommend, unless you wear earplugs so you don't have to hear their cackling...

Big dog rescue does great work with these animals. You'll not find a more caring group of people. Please consider a rescue before going to a pet store or breeder.
