This is the best vet I have ever been too. My partner has been going here for years and other members of my family have been seeing this office for over 20 years. They are responsive and friendly and so patient. Even with my grumpy old chihuahua, they treat him like he's a king. I love this office!

My wife and I want to tell everyone how awesome Dr Ansara is and all of his staff. You absolutely can not get a better Dr then this. Dr Ansara listens to you, he talks to you so you understand what he is explaining but he doesn’t talk down to you. He explains every step of the way with the treatment of your pet. He does not rush the examination if you have questions he gives you all the time in the world, I promise you, you will love it here. All the vet techs absolutely rock, you can see from the minute you meet them they handle your pets like it’s there own. They do not kill you with the bill, they will work with you if necessary. The girls up front that answer the phone god bless them because they do a fantastic job, they do EVERYTHING they can to get you an appointment when you want it. Well I hope you decide to take your pets to Dr. Ansara, if you love your pets you will let him and his staff take care of them.

I had been to Banfield 10 times and saw 7 different vets for my cats issue. After getting so frustrated I took him here. The care that we got was exceptional. I didn't have to repeat my story every time. They came up with a treatment plab that worked and was affordable.

First of all I want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for all of you who prayed for Princesa today. She had an tumor removed, and now she is resting home. Our concern was that she couldn’t come back from the anesthesia, since she is a 15 years old lady. But she is strong like a rock, and God listened our prayers and she will be here with me for a longer time, I hope. I have no words to how to thank enough the future Dr. Michael Baker, my client and friend, who works with Dr. Carl Ansara, 2 amazing people who took a good care of Princesa today. Michael have the passion and love for animals. Since he saw the picture that I sent about her tumor, he took this time off to open his busy schedule to help us. She looks great and she is recovering well. You guys are the best. From now on, I know where to bring my pets when I need.

Dr. Ansara and his staff have always been very welcoming to my cat. For the past 3 years, whenever there has been any problems with my cat, they have always tried their best to have her brought in as quickly as possible. My experiences here have always been great for both my cat and I! Thank you!!

Highly recommend this Veterinarian office...been coming here for many years with various pets...cats & dogs. The Vet is kind, caring and staff friendly. Been to other places before over the years and this is definitely THE place. I never feel oversold and fees are very competitive.

Best vet hands down! Dr. Ansara and his staff are amazing, understanding and their dedication to animals and their people is off the chart. I'm so glad we found them a few years back and have been around to watch the practice grow. We take all of animals there, and never had an issue. He will let you know if he feels a test is warranted or not. Just amazing. There aren't enough words to describe their dedication.

My female dog had a open pyometra, after calling several places describing her symptoms they all gave me crazy estimates off all the tests that needed to be done to rule out other possible illnesses. When I called Animal Hospital of University Drive they listened to all my concerns and told me to come in, I saw Dr Ansara who was very professional and knowledgeable. He told me he didn’t need to do unnecessary tests and diagnosed my dog with pyometra. He explained all statistics, outcomes, the condition and I didn’t feel pressured to make a decision. He recommended surgery and we did the surgery the next day. He was always checking on my dog via text and was very responsive to my concerns. The price was very reasonable and fair. All the ladies at the front desks were very helpful and also knowledgeable. The technician “Nicole” was very nice and caring to my sweet dog Leonela. I thank them very much for saving my dog, this was a serious condition and they provided good medical advice and treatment. I highly recommend them.

I have been coming to this animal hospital for years. The staff is wonderful and professional as you would expect. Dr. Ansara is top notch and I totally put my trust in him. They offer a dental for my dogs that is affordable which you cannot find anywhere else. I highly recommend this practice.

There are several great Veterinarians in the Fort Lauderdale area, however Doctor Ansara and his staff are part of a special lot that are some of the most caring, attentive, and skilled experts in the field of animal health. We'd actually switched to their practice from another area Vet (also quite good at what they did) however, the feel at AHUD is genuine, the care of our pets is in very good hands, and the Doctor will always set out several options of care so that our family can figure out what's best for us. To me, that is a special touch that differentiates this practice from many others. - The staff and doctor have made themselves available to us by making personal calls to let us know how things look, and always give us the real scoop so that there are no surprises. We appreciate the honesty, and the sincerity that these folks bring to the care of our pets, and so we would recommend them to anyone that loves their animals.

The doctor is super friendly, nice and very knowledgeable. He is a very Professional in his field, all these reviews are true about their doctor! Also their staff (front) are very sweet, too. My only complain is regards a mask policy. They said that the owner of this building are not allowing ppl w/o mask on their premises and that’s totally fine (I respect their decision) as they respect mine decision not to wear a mask and sit in a car (totally fine and even more convenient for me). But… I’m sitting in a car and waiting to pick up my pet. Other car parking next to my car, the old guy in his 70th together with a lady in her 40th are going inside the animal hospital (no masks) I can see thru windows that they not even provided masks nor they are wearing them. After 10-15 mins they did picked up their dog and walked away with no masks on them as well. Interesting thing, we had a small talk and they said that the staff never pointed them for not having masks on them while when I was there they asked me for a mask and if no mask I must wait in a car because of the above rules… So, they either discriminated me based on my age (I’m in my 30th) or are breaking their own rules. Of if they think they are vaccinated bc of their age and I’m not (even thought I work in a medical office and you know the rules there). So this is the only thing I really dont like. They said one thing at the beginning and I followed it with no complain but in other hand that what happen…

Dr. Carl is AMAZING! My first time meeting him and I am not going anywhere. My Oreo (dachshund) woke up with a swollen eye. I called several offices and everyone was booked. My sister remembered that she took her dog there one time and got us an appointment. I am so glad we went there. Dr. Carl's energy was out of this world. You can see he cares and it the best Vet that I have ever met.

I love bringing my Shayna here. Dr. Ansara is knowledgeable and takes his time when caring for our Shayna. You can tell he’s extremely meticulous. The best vet in the area hands down! All of the staff are very personable and willing to make your experience great. The girls who work the front are friendly and Alisha is always very kind to us. Best place to take your pets. You definitely won’t regret bringing them here! I always feel welcome and comfortable leaving Shayna in their care.

I feel extremely lucky to have found this vet office! Every single staff member always makes me feel like my dog is in good hands. I’ve been taking my German shepherd here since she was a puppy for her vaccinations and Dr. Ansara thoroughly answered all my silly “dog mom” questions with patience. I also have been blown away with Alicia customer service skills. She always does everything she can to make sure my dog (Arya) can be seen as soon as possible by Dr. Ansara even when the office is running on a tight schedule. I can’t imagine taking Arya to another vet and i will forever be thankful to the staff and Dr. Ansara.

Our two dogs are comfortable with Dr Ansara. His treatment is always appropriate. I rate his knowledge and concern 5 stars. I trust him with our two babies. I drive 25 miles each way to insure the well-being of our Italian Greyhounds.

Dr. Ansara loves what he does and this reflects in his manners. His love for pets, attention and kindness to your family is genuine. What a wonderful person and veterinarian!! He goes above and beyond! My only regret is not having met Dr. Ansara when our furry child was just a puppy. We never got the same treatment with our previous vet. Our beloved DJ crossed the rainbow bridge and I’m still heart broken but Dr. Ansara was of so much comfort in this extreme painful moment. He’s out of this world! Thanks for all you did for DJ and for us.

Recently moved up to Broward and brought my four pups to Dr Ansara today. I found him to be a very knowledgeable, kind and professional veterinarian. And his staff were amazing! I was thrilled to find this vet's office. These people are off the charts with the professionalism and customer courtesy. Dr. Ansara was equally great. He is not rushed, and is more than happy to answer any questions and give advice. The prices were reasonable and he is a straight shooter. Will never go anywhere else again.
