I really love this vet office, and I was disappointed that my pet would no longer be in their care after I moved away. All of the vets are extremely knowledgeable and caring! I trusted them with my 15-year-old Chiweenie, and their care gave me an extra month of good health with my beloved son. I recently purchased a Cavalier, and they have taken exceptional care of him as well, making sure I am aware of pertinent information regarding puppies/the breed and answering any questions. Dr. Maldonado even weighed and checked up on a family member's dog that came to the visit with my puppy, even though they had no appointment, and at no cost! So, you will find an extremely caring staff here that does not try to nickel and dime you! An added bonus to this clinic is their online portal (epethealth). With this, you can go online and see all the visits and treatments for your pet. Additionally, you can send messages/questions to the clinic, and one of the staff or vets is always quick to respond. You can book appointments online as well! Finally, you can add a picture to the portal of your furry friend, and it shows up on every receipt you get from the clinic. Just something extra that I thought was really neat, and something visual that helps you distinguish which pet the bill was for if you have multiple.

It has been 15 years since we added a new member to our family. Dr. Hook's is still one of the best and knowledgeable veterinarian's in this area. His team all follow the example he put down for the past 50 years. When your best buddy is injured or sick you can always rely on Monterey Animals Clinic.

We've used Monterey for years and love them. The only down side to their popularity is that it's hard to get in to see the vet on a Saturday. We actually switched vets to find someone who had more weekend availability, but regretted it immediately and switched back to Monterey. We won't switch again!!!

I've been taking my shih tzu here for about 5 years now, and couldn't be any happier with the service. Everyone is so warm and friendly and they genuinely care about your pet's health. The office is always clean, and the prices are fair. 10/10 my doggo agrees

We have been brining our dog to Monterey Animal Clinic for a number of years. Whether it is just routine health maintenance or figuring out a problem, the doctors and staff are very patient, caring, and professional. Even when they are busy they have never made us feel rushed and their communication is top notch. You can feel good about bringing your family pet to this clinic.

We recently lost our sweet dog Wilbur to cancer. Everyone at Monterey Animal Clinic made a difficult time as easy a possible. We are so grateful for all their love and support.

Love these people!!! They have seen my dog at her worst- depressed with awful allergies and have been receptive and determined to help her! She’s now thriving after they recommended Cytopoint shots. My dog has not been to any other vet since finding Monterey Animal Clinic 4 years ago!

Absolutely LOVE this clinic and I drive 30 min away from home just to visit them! They take great care of my cats and dog, and let me tell you my dog Samson is not easy to deal with! They never made me feel discriminated on by our pit that hates the vet. Definitely recommend this clinic for your fur babies!!!
