Dr. Veronica and staff were absolutely amazing! We are snow birds/aka new clients - our cat decided he wanted a treat for breakfast (the dogs arthritis med). First call to our vet at home, they told us to get our cat to a local vet. Could not be happier with the hospital and their staff. Dr. Veronica kept us informed and made us feel at ease. 100% recommend Tyrone Veterinary Hospital!

Couldn’t ask for a better place to take you pet, who I consider a family member, ive known Dr K and been using Tyrone Veterinary since 1999, even when I have my best dog I ever had, they helped me through doing the right thing and assuring me I was doing the right thing, also the staff was the only people that sent a condolence card when we had to put her down, and I used Lap of Love, they took the time, and it made me feel so much better knowing that they cared more than anyone realized, hands down the the best place in the area.

They are extremely accommodating Very helpful, friendly , all of the vet assistants are so caring . I wouldn’t hesitate boarding my cat there. I know he would have excellent care and they would play with him. This is the best Vet I have ever had. They truly care.

Needed them in an emergency and they kindly accommodated with a good amount of attention, advice, and an action plan.

While visiting our family here in St. Petersburg we drove by the veterinary hospital to get some information about our dog. We made an appointment and within 2 hours we had our chubby little chewy seen. Thanks to the dr at this location and the wonderful staff we were sent home with instructions on what to do with him when we got home. They took care of him as if he was our child not our pet this place is the place to take your animal if you are worried and want answers and to be treated so kindly with their knowledge they figured out what was wrong with our chewy!! THEY DO GOOD JOB, BUT BEWARE OF THE $200.00 3rd doggy visit… this was unexpected and doesnt seem justifiable

Both the vet tech and the veterinarian were so kind and did a great job of explaining everything even while I was so distraught. The tech brought in a blanket for my dog so that he would be comfortable too. The office smelled very clean and we were brought back immediately since my pup was unable to walk much at all. I am really happy with my experience there. I wish it were under different circumstances, but I felt that they did an excellent job.

Dr. Livermore Has been the veterinarian that has taking care of my pets on and off for the last 12 years. I can’t imagine ever having anyone but her for my furbabies. But I would like to say that at times when I have had to use one of her associates they have all been excellent. The staff is also as nice and friendly as can be. I have recommended a lot of people to Tyrone Veterinarian and will continue to do so in the future. Thank you, Lucille King

I boarded my dog Buddy here for about five days while I traveled for Christmas. Came back and Buddy was super happy was not stressed out which means he got plenty of attention and the staff was kind to him, and had been given a bath. They also gave him his meds. 10/10 I will Def board here again when the need arises. Good place nice people.

These ladies are FABULOUS!!! I'm a traveling nurse and have to he away from my dog on occasion, he LOVES it at Tyrone vet!! They treat him so good, give him his vitamins and treats, I can call for daily report, the price is also very fair!! Couldn't ask for better service!!!

This recent visit with a new member of our family and the new Doctor. I was amazed the time she spent and the information of things I was unaware of, it's was comforting and at the same time, I felt like family. After years of raising smart dogs, I knew she had my back in our new collective adventure with the new member of our family.. I'm new to the area and I had seen a different veterinarian for a problem with my dog. When the problem came back along with an additional skin problem I contacted the original vet who never asked what was wrong but had no time to see me for several days. On researching I thought I would give this office a chance and I am so glad I did they were extremely responsive to my call they got me in the same day and I actually saw the veterinarian with my dog at this office! They were caring, professional and very knowledgeable. This will be my veterinarian for my time here.

Everybody was extremely pleasant and helpful. Made a stressful situation much easier on me. Would definitely recommend this office!

Dr. Paige Tripp was beyond compassionate and provided the best possible care and treatment plans for my beloved senior dog. Leesa, the Veterinary Assistant, was also extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate during a difficult visit. I highly recommend Dr. Tripp and Leesa if you are looking for a Veterinary team that brings the right combination of skills to provide the best possible visit, even in a difficult situation. I have been taking my dog, Nitro, here since he was a puppy and he loves everyone at Tyrone Vet and so do we! They always answer my thousands of questions and never make us feel like a burden which I so appreciate!

The best vet I have been too. Last year when I had to put my dog down. Thay were very compassionate and let me have all the time I needed.. This past week I was there with my other dog. I waited only 5 minutes before that saw me. I wasnever alone more than a few minutes before someone would come in and update me as to what was happening. Thank you for all you have done for me and my dog. Just the best!!

We have been loyal customers of Tyrone Veterinary Hospital for over 27 years and drive past several other Veterinary practices to get there. Over the years we have always received professional, high quality service that we can rely upon. Most recently, we took our two dogs in for their annual visits and received the same excellent service. One of our dogs is very anxious and they went out of their way to make her feel comfortable and safe, including getting down on the floor with her to comfort and reassure her while she was trembling. That kind of attention is above and beyond great customer service and just the most recent reason that we continue to take all of our animals to Tyrone Veterinary Hospital. Thank you for all that you continue to do!

They took time to explain what was happening with my pet. They could have done part of a procedure and sent me to a specialist for the remaining procedure. They told me for the wellbeing of my pet I should take her to the specialist for the entire procedure. They made sure I understood what was happening and what needed to be done. Taking procedures for covid. From the time I walked thru the door until I walked out each person was friendly pleasant and knowledgeable.

Price is too high but all employees are professional, reliable and caring. No place is better in the St Pete area. This Hospital has always gone out of their way to accommodate our family of pets!
