Stay away from this veterinary clinic! I brought my sweet pup here because it was recommended by my landlord. My pup was having - and continues to have - issues with his ears or perhaps, allergies. The issue was not resolved and in fact, made worse. The vet made an incision in my pup's ear that has still not healed and he is even more symptomatic than when I took him here. Their mark-up and prices are inflated and whoever answers the phone gives more attitude than help. Their receptionists definitely give away the company culture - that they couldn't possibly care less. I'm not sure why anyone would go here when even their maintenance medications are over-priced. Stay away unless you want your pet to suffer more and not have the original issue taken care of, as promised. Shameful service at best, run!

Today was the 1st visit for my lab. I am blown away by Dr Anthony and his amazing team. Friendly thorough and professional, they listened to the story of the daily life of my dog , behavior and health issues, and offered really great solutions. Thank you!

I can not express enough how much we love this office. We found this amazing little guy on the road as a super small kitten. We nursed him, loved him, my daughter carried him around in her bike basket but unfortunately we discovered he was born with FIP. We did everything we could to save him but couldn't. The compassion this office showed to my family has gone above and beyond. My kids and I were put of town when it happened but they walked my husband through this, who did not grow up with animals and this was a first time experience for him. Thank you so much!

Everyone at this clinic is very professional, takes great care of my boy every time I come in, and they have a genuine love for animals. They even sent us home with a new kong toy on our last visit. Can’t recommend these guys enough!

I just want to thank Dr. Peltier for being such a caring Vet. My cat Spyke is a very high maintenance and difficult cat to put in a carrier to get him to the vet office. Spyke has an allergic reaction that is reoccurring. Because Dr Peltier knows my cat, he took the time to "think outside the box" to prevent my Spyke from being stressed out about another trip to the vet. He came up with a solution for treatment that I could do at home without causing more stress on me or my cat. Highly recommend Dr. Peltier ( and Dr. Anthony) and the amazing vet techs who care about my 2 fur babies. Thank you for all you do!!

Florida Vet Clinic is a top of the line locally owned vet for the area. The Vet techs were great, Dr. Anthony took his time to get to know my dog, and the visit never felt rushed. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great, local vet clinic.

I cannot even say all of the positives we had during our first vet experience at the Florida Vet Clinic. My 3 year old boxer/terrier mix has been through a lot during his short life. They treated him so well that I was almost in tears. Great staff and people, thank you very much!

I just moved here from Texas and have been looking for a new veterinary clinic for awhile now. I found Florida Vet Clinic due to an emergency situation with my frenchie. They were able to accommodate their already hectic schedule and get us in right away. Dr. Anthony and his team are truly amazing. He is science driven and well experienced in critical care situations. Dr. Anthony is very thorough with his assessments and honestly the only VET I will se in FL! Thank you guys very much for helping out me and my family in difficult and challenging times :)

Extremely kind employees, easy to set up appointments, and reply in a timely fashion to questions/concerns. 10/10 Also I’ve never been to a vet clinic that genuinely cares so much about the well-being of the animals that they see. Knew as soon as we walked in that this was our forever vet. The staff were so sweet and helpful. I can't sing their praises enough, they are easily the best vet we've ever been to!

My family has been utilizing the services of Florida Veterinary Clinic for years. We have also been to other clinics in times of emergency and can say with certainty you won’t regret coming here. Where Florida Veterinary Clinic thrives and earns our business is their honesty. Some veterinary clinics will take advantage of customers who aren’t medically inclined in order to sell services that are either unnecessary or futile. Florida veterinary clinic will not do this and will always be upfront and honest about your pets health and give you a realistic assessment of the situation even if the outlook is not good. Their techs are some of the most experienced in pinellas county and will always take the time to communicate with you and help you understand your pets situation. These people really do care.

Recently we had an experience with our precious girl Sandy. Cancer unexpectedly took over our sweet girl within two weeks. When I tell you Dr Anthony and Dr Peltier and his amazing team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure our girl was comfortable, happy, not in pain and SO LOVED by each and every one of the staff members, to us now they are family ❤️ I cannot even express in any type of way how good they made us feel with every decision we made and they helped us make. They knew Sandy M was giving every ounce to fight and they did the same. I’ll never goto another vet in my life! These people are incredible. Angels work here ❤️ Thank you ❤️ Sandy, Carolina, Jewels and the M’s ❤️ We are forever grateful.

They are great with communicating recommendations and arrival times. They do well in handling my crazy cat. Special kudos to Peter.

I want to thank you Peter and the clinic staff for helping me to have my cat Grisketta taking care of today. She's 17 years old outdoor cat (I had tried multiple times to see if she will go inside but not) and yesterday she had bloody back leg and front paw with scratchers. They handled her with love y compassion. Most of all, they helped me to get some piece of mind without having to leave an arm and a leg. Thanks again Peter, awesome job. Oh, they provide mobile vet services just in case you need them.

Florida Veterinary Clinic provides the best most compassionate care in St Petersburg, Florida. Our family has entrusted our fur babies to Dr. Anthony and staff for over 25 years. They are honest, caring, flexible and always there for us. Thank you for always being there.

The most horrid nightmare happened to me because of the heinous negligence of Dr. Peltier and whoever was working with him on 4/1/21. My cat did not need sedatives for fluid therapy but they were too lazy to find a way to hold her, when she was returned to me immobile I was advised not to worry - it was just because she had been given sedatives. Note that I was not even given a consent form for sedation. I came home to pull her lifeless body from the carrier.. my beloved companion.. they were probably in a rush to go home because it was the end of the day.. I will forever regret taking her there for this treatment plan.. I regret being scared into putting her through it, her final moments were in suffering at the hands of such negligent, heartless people.. they will argue it was because she was elderly, but the fact is sedatives did not need to be given for fluid therapy, she should not have been returned to me like that, it was a cruel irresponsibility that will leave me suffering for the rest of my life..I will forever be haunted by how she was fine before I took her there.. alive and well.. and returned to me dead... Edit 4/10/21- in response to the fabrication of lies you took time to construct to try to save face and make yourself feel better- the reality is , Dr. Anthony told me she was doing good, at NO POINT was I told that she could "expire" at any given time-- if that was the case, I would have preferred not to expose her to further handling and poking of needles, especially the handling of people who don't know how to hold a cat you are trying to describe as fragile. One of your staff came up with the excuse that restrain couldn't be used because she was a "bite risk" and didn't have a rabies shot, like she was some frisky street cat when she has been a domestic cat and your office has known this for years and never told me she needed one. She was handled without sedation in the past!!! The reality is she was being playful and happy again before going to that nightmare appointment, she was eating and drinking her way to recovery after the ER saved her, but your excessive handling and pushing treatment and unnecessary sedatives killed her. I only took her to a follow up after the ER to get a second opinion from a PCP I thought I could trust, I will regret it for the rest of my life.. She didn't die AFTER I left the office you damnable liar, she was given to me as though she was sleeping but I pulled her out dead as soon as I got home. You can't refute the fact that I wasn't given a consent form for sedation or that I had expressed previous concern about its use the days prior to her death. You don't wish me peace, you are just trying to save face and may you be damned.

I can’t say enough good about this place and their incredible staff!!! They are unbelievable. Kind, helpful and go way above and beyond for your pets. If you’re looking for a vet who truly cares about your pets well being, this is without a doubt the vet for you. Everyone there is AMAZING!!!! Best of the best.

Been taking all my pets here for years. They love the work they do.All staff are extremely caring, knowledgeable, and pr professional. Wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

Although I no longer am able to visit Dr Anthony and staff, I believe, he is one of best in the area. Due to the distance, my disabilities, the age and size of my dog, it is more than I can do. I very much like my current vet, but I was with Dr Anthony even before he started the mobile clinic. I am going to guess it was 1985 when I first met Dr. Anthony, and we both had brown hair then!! Dr. Anthony always took AWSOME care of my kids, as well as me too when those times happened where I had to say goodbye to a cat or dog. Like I said one of the best!

I have used this office in the past for my dog Marley. Dr Anthony took great care of him and I. When we got our new puppy coco I knew I would be back! The office staff are amazing and sadly I haven't met the new Doc, because of covid, but he seems great too! Highly recommend this office for all fur babies!!!!

This place was awesome.. Great staff more than fair pricing and when you call for a price they actually stick to what they say they are going to charge you.. I used two other vets over the past few years and always felt like I was hustled and ripped off when I left.. One vet I won't name charged me double what my quote was on two different occasions... NOT HERE.. what they quoted is actually less than I paid.. Bull and I will be back and never step foot in another veterinary clinic.. Thank you guys for the incredible care for my dog and great service.

They have been our vet for over 15 years. The costs are reasonable and the staff is extremely friendly but also professional.
