I recommend this veterinarian hospital, the staff is so helpful and very nice, the place is comfortable and clean. I recommend ????

Really bad experience. I took my dog in for some basic cough. They gave her medicine which made her vomit. I contacted them right after the weekend with this issue (since I had gone on a Friday) and nobody followed up. The next day I called again, and they asked me to schedule another appointment since it is a ‘separate issue’. I don’t recommend this place at all. They definitely overcharge even when the issue isn’t fixed.

Dr Long is excellent and explained the type of surgery for my dog Giovanni and all the staff is excellent and I highly recommend my friends and family this doctor.

My two pups and I absolutely LOVE the team at Gandy Animal Hospital. They saved my dachshunds life after a terrible attack a couple years ago, and they have been helping me more than expected over the last few months since my older dog was diagnosed with diabetes. They are with you every step of the way. I will be a loyal customer as long as I have my babies. Shout out to Stephanie Flynn! She is so compassionate and just incredible at her job. Thank you to everyone at GAH!

I had a wonderful two experiences with care at Gandy Animal Hospital. I was seeing quickly and they really took care of my little Cheddar Vizsla after he got ganged up on at the dog beach.

I have to say this company has helped me in so many ways! My Dag Consuela had a large mass on her back. I called Gandy animal hospital and Jessa was so knowledgeable about what I needed to do in order to get her into surgery asap. I was so scared for my pet but I was reassured rehabilitation was painless and quick. Surgery was quick and easy and Jessa called me as soon as the procedure was over to ease my stress. I will be bringing all my pets to this location as they treated me and Consuela with respect and as family.

I would 100% recommend this vet to anyone who needs help with their fur baby! I have to say a big thank you to Hailey Rankin for helping me throughout the whole process. She was supportive, thoughtful, and made sure everything went as smooth as possible as she knew how hard it was going to be. I was overwhelmed with sadness but between Hailey and the vet they truly were amazing. Thank you!!

They can always get my girls in same day or next day when a problem comes up which is very important to me and a huge relief. This was my first time going inside the office (moved here during Covid) it was so clean and nice! The staff and doctors are great. Have nothing but positive things to say!

The vets were very professional. The vet was responsive to my questions that I had about my dog. The vet was also very knowledgeable about what was going on with my dog. Over all the good quality of the staff will be the reason I will return to then vet

Such an amazing place to visit. I have a 1 year old rescue pitbull who is terrified of everything and always needs some warming up. They were so calm and gentile with her and took their time to gain her trust and sat on the floor with her before even beginning the visit. They really care about our babies and that’s all I could ask for, I’ve had a team from another vet immediately put a muzzle on her because they didn’t want to make the effort to make my dog comfortable. We notice these things as fur parents so thank you for being so genuine and thoughtful, Jessa and the rest of the team are the best ????

Terrible experience. I waited over 2 hours just to receive a vaccine for my cat. No one check on me while I waited. I had to go to the front desk just to be told they were running behind. I proceeded to wait and eventually left. Worse Tampa animal hospital.

Jessa was able to answer all my questions when I was pet sitting for a friend very knowledgeable.

This group is fantastic, and I love this office! The staff is always efficient and timely, and their vets have a wealth of knowledge. I brought my female boa, Hissy Elliot in for some X-rays to be done and the receptionist Jessa made the entire process seamless. Its a nice feeling knowing that the staff cares about your animals well-being as much as you do. I appreciate the attentiveness to care, that’s exactly what you want in a veterinarian! I would definitely recommend Gandy Animal Hospital.

My cat and I were treated professionally and compassionately during our visit to Gandy hospital. We did not have to wait long beforehand, which was helpful since our cat can easily become stressed. The diagnosis and costs were reasonable and thoroughly explained with all of my questions fully answered. The vet and tech handled the cat gently during a complete exam and two shots. So much so that the cat did not even cry. The vet gave me options for the follow up treatment and I also felt that they did not order excessive tests but only what was needed and prudent. I will gladly return to this animal hospital whenever my cat needs additional care.

I called about my dog ingesting a bag of dark chocolate at around 5:45 . She mentioned that I needed to go to an emergency clinic and helped me with finding a place and getting me through this panic of a time . Even though I have not attended Gandy Animal Hospital. Hailey provided me with comfort. I was able to get my baby to the emergency room just in time and she his now home safe and feeling better. If they treat non clients this well I can only imagine actual clients are treated amazing as well. I will be switching over to Gandy.

Very prompt, professional, caring staff - took great care of our 70lb dog (even though he didn’t think he needed their attention). They walked me through all the care, tests, medication & costs before hand. All in a very nice, clean, inviting facility.

Veterinarian Reitz was very sweet. She took her time with my dog who was very scared.

I called and was thankfully giving an appointment for the same Morning for my very sick puppy. The staff was friendly, quick and efficient. After a speedy lab test and determining they weren’t able to treat him because he needed hospitalization, they referred me to a great hospital that was able to take care of our needs.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I will start by saying that I have been bringing all four of my pets to Gandy Animal for the last 5-6 years and was always satisfied when Dr. Hinen was part of the practice. Ever since he left, there has been a noticeable decline in service and diagnosis in my opinion. I have had multiple negative experiences here, but most notably was when my dog was having a seizure for the first time (I didn't know what was going on, she's only 5 years old and had never experienced this before), and I rushed her to Gandy Animal. Once I got there, the front doors were locked with a paper sign on the door saying 'call the number to be seen', well i'm standing there frantic holding my limp dog in my arms crying, and the girl sitting at the front desk truly just stared at me through the doors with a blank stare on her face and shook the phone at me insinuating I need to call to be seen. I was so incredible astonished at the lack of compassion or even common courtesy for that matter. I immediately ran back to my car and rushed her to an emergency vet near by, where they properly treated her and thankfully she was okay. Aside from that, was another experience prior where I went for a routine appt... They brought my dogs back without me "due to covid", and then came out with a receipt for over $400, almost $150 MORE than what I paid in previous years for the same appt. When I asked why, they told me they only offer a la carte services and increased their prices. Aside from the extremely poor communication, they kept my dogs back there for TWO HOURS, without updating us while we waited in the parking lot. We called multiple times to check in only to be told, it would be a little longer. If I could warn you not to go to this vet one million times, I would do it. I honestly am disgusted by their service and lack of compassion and this is coming from someone who used to love going there and has been a patient of theirs for multiple years. EXTREMELY disappointed.

Friendly staff, and knowledgeable doctor.

I called before I came to make sure my pet's yearly shots would fit into my budget. I was quoted $150-$200, which I thought was great! When I got there however, the total quoted price was $461. I got out of there with an exam, 3 years rabies, rabies tag, and allergy shot for $220. Shot Vet does all the shots and tests for &175 compared to the $461 I was given. I will never go here again. Edit: I did voice my concerns and the only option I got was to NOT get she what she needed. Second Edit: Vetco at Petco will do all the same shots/exams for around $120. You're welcome. Stars only because the staff is super nice.

I needed to get into a vet last minute so I could take my dog to daycare. Most places needed a couple weeks to get my pup in for an exam and shots. Gandy was able to sneak her in quickly and keep me working. They were very responsive and friendly. Everyone explained all the details of the visit and the bill and was super helpful. Thanks!

I’ve been taking both my dog and cat here for a few years and have nothing but good things to say. The front desk staff is responsive and kind and even snuck me in for a visit when I accidentally showed up on the wrong day for my pet’s appointment (oops). My animals have been very well cared for by their team, even through COVID. I highly recommend them!
