Everyone is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They are always willing to take the time to answer my questions and explain my options. Really grateful to have found them.

Like many Downtown businesses they gouge the affluent client base with unnecessary charges - i.e., a groomer who wouldn't groom my wee Papillon without a $150 lepto vaccination. It wasn't the cost, it was the reason given and the guilt games played at my expense. The receptionist got the dates wrong, which delayed the process by two weeks. They truck on the attractiveness of the neighborhood. My darling is an indoor dog. She never gets close to other dogs. She WANTS to go inside. The air cleaner runs 24/7. She has never been given tap water. How can could her health have declined from her vet's telling me at Anclote Animal Hospital in that he could tell she had been very well taken care of to this mess? She's now going to Northeast Animal Hospital. She has NO medical issues. We shall see.

My visit to the Downtown St Petersburg “Pets in the City” was a great experience! Dr. Scribano is a very knowledgeable, professional & caring Vet❗️He has taken care of “all” of my Alaskan Malamute’s over many years and he “loves” all animals❗️I highly recommend him & his very professional staff. Very convenient if you live in downtown St Petersburg for routine medical checkups, health concerns, & grooming❗️

They saved my kitty when he was anemic. Very friendly people

I have never owned a Persian cat before. He was willed to me by a good friend. However, I began to have violent sneezes during the summer. This went on for almost two months. Then, I took him for his grooming session and confided my problem to our groomer, Tara. They called us when the session was over and when I picked him up, the groomer told me that she gave him a lion cut... "A What ? Why ?" says I. "Because of your sneezing problem" she answered. The result is that my sneezing has diminished to almost nothing. Tara solved ALL our problems !!! Our petting, cuddling and grooming sessions have greatly improved ! Thank you Tara !

We brought our ferret into see this vet this week. He was so knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel at ease. We felt so comfortable that will be bringing our cat & dog in for their annuals now. Chose this vet because of the great reviews & that they could see “pocket pets” but will be coming back because the Dr was awesome!

They are great with pet's. Very friendly and very convenient.

My cat was groomed while I waited so she didn't have to stay all day. They did a great job and the price was more than fair.

I call in the morning for a grooming appointment the same day. They were booked but they were able to accommodate their schedule to get my dog groomed. She was happy when I picked her up and she looked great. Thank you

They did an excellent job taking care of my puppy, Babu, for the day. They even gave him a report card at the end saying how well he did and how he interacted with others. It brought my wife tears of joy. Thanks again!

Just rescued a 17 mo old Golden. New to town and did not have an established Vet relationship. Went to Pet’s in the city for the first time yesterday and they are wonderful. Dr. Scribano took the time necessary with a new patient visit, established instant creditable with me and answered my pleathra of questions. The Vet Tech was also terrific and helped me get all settled in. I highly recommend these guys and have found my new Vet.

My dog looked really nice after the grooming, however the service is a little disorganized. They didn't provide me with a wellness report after I had him receive a shot, I had to email them the following day to actually get it. Nor did I get a report of his behavior at the daycare like they told me they would, or a bandana for my dog after his grooming like stated on the bill. I was also told I'd get a follow up email when he needed his booster shot, and haven't heard from them since. They place is nice, clean and the people are friendly and seem to like the pets, but the disorganization will probably keep me away.

Truly the best vet in all of St Petersburg. Dr. Mark and his staff were so kind and patient and helped to ease all my concerns with regards to my fur baby. He treated her abscess on her front elbow and she is healing nicely! Would absolutely recommend to anyone to him if you want a personalized and welcoming experience. Thank you, Dr. Mark and staff :)

My husband and I love the way they pamper our furbabies here.

My dog has been attending their daycare/daycamp since he was 3 months old. He enjoys his days there playing with other "campers". He comes home happy and less energetic, easier to handle after a long work day. Staff is great and caring. I recommend it.

We came in as first time clients and brought a difficult bird to be seen and treated. The office when you walk in is very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The receptionist was also very welcoming and made the beginning of this experience wonderful. I have to say from the start, we were absolutely amazed at the time, attention and lack of hurry the vet gave us. He did not seem to be in a rush at all . He took the time to hear my concerns, asked me questions then proceeded to address each issue individually while he examined the bird. She was a complicated bird as she's new and I had questions I needed answered as well as information on how to proceed in helping her get better. He continued to discuss her and his findings while examining her. I was very pleased to find a vet who involved us in his observations . The things he did do to her he did perfect. She was already on a road to getting better and he assisted greatly. I have already been referring my friends and others to this office and will continue to do so. I will also say, we we're shocked when we were ready to leave. We expected a much higher bill. That too was a shock which made this wonderful experience seal the fact that this office will now be the vet we choose for any animal we have.

My fiancé & I used to take our dog to Pets in the City but were somewhat unhappy with their lack of organization and communication esp. regarding wellness updates and behavior. In addition we were regularly annoyed by one of morning lead staff members whose tone was regularly unprofessional, authoritative, and ungrateful (although we have great regard for the non-managerial staff—helpful, kind, and professional). We were initially recommended this service by our friends who were regular good customers, and thought we just had a one-off lackluster experience. We come to find out today that they too recently experienced the same issues, but worse. After no previous reports or communication, and with no warning, their dogs were no longer welcomed. Although the care seems to good, we recommend looking elsewhere.

Great Day Care and good groomers. Also a great location if you work downtown. Very happy caring staff.

I've been taking my pup here for grooming and could not be happier! She is always so excited to see all of the staff there, and I know she is in excellent hands. They are so great to her.

I adore the Pets In The City staff and Dr. Scribano. My dogs mean the world to me, so I’m very particular about where I take them. They’re very personable, while being very thorough. If you live downtown St. Petersburg, or anywhere for that matter, I highly recommend this clinic!
