Knowledgeable kind people and they do a lot to say the animals that nobody else can

Had to surrender my eleven year old cat due to aggressive behavior to other animals. The girl was kinda cold and unfeeling.

This people are there for the salary! They don't care about the animal situations! That's the true!

This is the worse animal shelter ever. We got a cat from them and we took her back to get spayed. They killed her because she died 2 days later. Last Thursday they had another cat that looked exactly like the one that they killed. I filled out the paperwork and paid the fee to take him home. They told me that they would call me to let me know when they schedule him for surgery to be fixed. Friday no call, Saturday and Sunday they were closed, Monday no call, Tuesday no call and in that afternoon I seen that he was back posted on their website and labeled as neutered. I called this morning as soon as they opened and they told me that the cat was already adopted. Saying that I was upset was an understatement. Their explanation to me was that they got my phone number wrong. The 3 looked like an 8 and they tried calling me on both possible numbers. I never received a call and I have no voicemail from them. I asked why didn’t they email me. I was told that they don’t email people. My reply was why do you ask for it then. Basically to register him online. They said that they could either give us a refund or we can get another cat. We looked and didn’t see one that we liked. We ended up getting a refund with a check that will be mailed to my house. Hopefully they have my correct address. You get what you pay for. You can’t expect a lot from cheap service. I will never go back to this shelter again and I would advise people to stay away from this place. My impression is that they’re the type of people that they don’t care unless it happens to them.

What a wonderful place to adopt a pet from. I adopted Scout, a black lab last Saturday. Facility very clean, warm & inviting. Miss Lauren let us take our time observing Scout, answering all our questions & letting us get to know her. I lost my 14 year old black lab Sage 2 months ago & Scout has filled the void. She loves the dog park across from my apartment & cannot get enough of chasing the ball. The animals are well taken care of. Highly recommend coming here for your next furry friend to take to your forever home. Kudos to the entire staff. Can't thank you all enough!!!!

I called the animal control on Sunday the June 13th because I found a pit bull on Neptune road, very busy with the traffic. The officer told me let run the dog on the road because we open Monday at 8am and we respond only for emergency. It is not an emergency when a dog can be hit by a car or cause an accident? The safety of everyone is engaged in this case!!! Thanks Animal control...
