Heard great things about this vet, however, my 15 year old dog was not eating and was throwing up for two days and when I called to get him in I was told they had no appointments for 5 days and I should go to Highland or Rosewood veterinarian?? Really shouldn’t sick animals have a priority? So disappointed.

Dr. Eric is the best vetinarian I've ever taken a pet to. I was told by two others that my little puppy needed to be put under sedation to have a tooth removed, however, Dr. Eric took one look at the tooth and saw that it was already loose and was able to remove it in what seemed like less than two minutes. My little puppy didn't even seem to be aware that it was removed and seemed perfectly comfortable the rest of the day. Needless to say I was very grateful.

Dr. Eric Wilsnack is a great vet. Very informative and personable! Great office staff as well.

I purchased two applications of 90 flea medication for my two 100% indoor cats at a price of $125 and it is not working. I called the vets office and they said 'oh well' that's what we sell. One would think they would offer to refund all or at least part of the money, but no. I would not recommend this veterinarian at all given their nonchalant attitude for the expensive products they sell. Look elsewhere for a better quality service provider.

We are new to area, Florida is different from where we used to live. The Doctor was very thorough with exam, explained this areas challenges for our dog. Spent time explaining potential poisonous critters and plants to watch for. The whole team was great!

Truly HOMETOWN care!! Moved here 6 years ago and I'm so lucky I found them. They treat you and your pet like family. It's all about the pet...not the $$$ !! Doc and his staff are the best!! Kind, caring folks.

Been to many vets ... he is by far the best dr I’ve come across. I’ve never felt so comfortable bringing my fur babies to him. My 11 year old dog just had to have a cancerous lump removed.. she came out of the surgery and within hours was walking around, eating, drinking, going outside. It was incredible. He even carried her to the car because she was a little dopey at first. He always answers our questions. His knowledge, compassion, and overall care is astounding. I highly recommend him to everyone. Someone came out to my car and took my cat inside per COVID. The vet called me on the phone to keep me abreast of what she saw, discovered, and recommendations. It cost a bit of money, but that's common for an emergency visit/care. Besides, he's worth every penny!!

This vet center is welcoming. We had to euthanize our 13 year old dog a couple of weeks ago and everyone was compassionate and sympathetic. Our current dog has diabetes and we are completely at ease knowing he is receiving quality care. Our 9 cats will all be cared for by this vet and his staff.

We love Doc Eric and everybody at Hometown Pet Care Center. So do our pets.

It was a sad visit. Had to say goodbye to my daughter's dog. Staff was very caring and understanding. Very considerate at such a difficult time.
