When our 8 month old chihuahua started screaming nonstop we were terrified of what was wrong also being 1300 miles away from our regular veterinarian did not help. We had seen the new office at beeridge rd while shopping, we checked the reviews and they seemed like a good place. From the moment we called they couldn’t have been nicer or more caring! They took excellent care of our puppy, found the issues, prescribed and supplied the meds needed. Back at home now thankful for having found this amazing group!

I came home and found my kitten in a very bad way stuck in a grand mal seizure. I called urgent vet and they were very kind over the phone and answered a lot of my questions. Brought snowflake in right away but unfortunately he could not be saved. The doctor and the staff were amazing! Losing a pet is so hard and they were all so professional, compassionate and kind and made the experience as pleasant as it could possibly be. I am truly grateful!

UrgentVet was wonderful. They were very pleasant and calm with my Frenchie. They explained everything in detail including how my dog needed to be given his medications. The best vet/urgent clinic around. The staff, technicians and vets are so kind and awesome. I have been there twice. One time the treatment the vet gave our dog was so advanced our regular vet was impressed. They are kind and communicate really well. I believe the prices are fair for an emergency clinic. It is obvious they care! I would highly recommend this clean, professional and caring clinic. Good luck.

Everyone was beyond nice and kept me and my pup calm. It’s a brand new building with technology to make your trip to the vet quicker.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. This place shouldn’t even be in business.

Nice clean lobby with easy check in. Coffee, tea and snacks are offered. I saw a door labeled ‘bark’, so I’m guessing that room is for dogs. We were immediately greeted. We had a wait of under 5 minutes on New Year’s Eve. My dog, Snoopy, was not hesitant to go with the tech at all. She listened to my concern, and was empathetic with my pup. Our problem was resolved, and I am extremely happy with the service and attention that both Snoopy and I received! I will not hesitate to recommend this establishment!

I took my German Shepherd in for a limp on her back right leg. Normally I’d wait to see my primary vet, but the limp started on Saturday night and looked the same on Sunday morning so I didn’t want to wait in case it was something not good and I needed to act quickly. The care we received from Dr. Campbell and vet tech, Zoe, was excellent. Zoe did all the intake and wrap-up and was uncommonly nice and kind. She also handled my dog’s anxiousness with ease (which is a feat - the dog can be a jerk at the vet). She even trimmed her nails with minimal fussing! Dr. Campbell listened to all my concerns and my dog’s leg history. He did a thorough exam including watching her move. I appreciated his recommendations and insight which was well-reasoned and logical based on how she was presenting. He also gave me good advice on different things to consider with medications that no one has explained to me previously. I thought the price was surprisingly reasonable and appreciated that it didn’t seem like anyone at the clinic was trying to spend my money (as compared to sometimes how it is at the ER vet). I left feeling very confident with the care she received and would easily take her back to see them again.

We were watching our son's dog and he was not himself. Blue Pearl suggested we go to UrgentVet. They were wonderful. From our initial contact in the clinic to Dr Campbell. They did a cursory exam and gave us options to do or not to do..no pressure. It was a great experience for us and the pooch. An excellent place to visit with your animal. Thank you.

On Christmas Eve Day our Greyhound Elijah needed antibiotics to quiet down is gum issues. Every vet that I called was closing at noon, understandably, for the Holiday. One Vet, Clark Animal Clinic, was kind enough to refer us to URGENT VET. We called them immediately and the receptionist was very warm, welcoming and understanding. Once at their facility, we were warmly greeted. She said there would be a bit of a wait, which was just fine with us. In the waiting area they have coffees, snacks... water and other drinks in the fridge, free of charge. Dr. Campbell and his technician were wonderful... explaining all of our options for Elijah. We left with the antibiotics and a pain medication...and Elijah is feeling better already! The doctor emailed care instructions which were VERY thorough. Today, Christmas, we received a call from UrgentVet asking how Elijah was doing!!! VERY, VERY PLEASED with our first experience at UrgentVet. We wouldn't hesitate to go back...and will most definitely tell our friends and associates. Thank you!!!

The nurse was very helpful and very sweet. The room that I was taken to was so cozy and home like, dim lights... The doctor was amazing and again so sweet. If you find yourself in the need for end of life... I totally recommend these wonderful folks.

My lil guy (black cat) got into a plant he was allergic to and his front paws got inflamed. He now has to wear the "cone of shame" and is on medications for three days.

We are on vacation and our little girl had a very swollen paw and it was infected. We easily made an appointment online and walked right in. The staff was so friendly and my little girl felt very comfortable with them. We were in and out within an hour with all tests, X-rays and medication done. Would highly recommend.

Very professional, very understanding, very knowledgeable, all around a great care facility. We didn’t even wait to get a room, we were takin back to moment we walked in the door. The nurse and the doctor were quick, polite, and extremely helpful. Fairly priced as well, don’t try to upsell you.

I am a traveling nurse and sadly my dog broke out in hives that were unrelieved by treatment prescribed by home vet prior to leaving for my contract. Once I had finished my course of medicine in Florida her hives had gotten worse. I then reached out to urgent vet here in Sarasota. When I arrived the staff greeted my dog and I with pure excitement and smiles. When we were taken back to be seen by the veterinarian, she walked in and sat right on the floor next to Maple. Maple absolutely loved the one on one attention and love. Not only was she excellent with my dog, but she did an absolute extraordinary job at explaining the course of actions and options for medical treatment. Maple has been home from the vet for one day and has significant improvement. Beyond the exceptional staff and facility the pricing was great. I did not feel like I had been overcharged. To top it off the medication was hand it to me and I did not have to pick it up at a pharmacy! If I lived here I would claim this place as my home vet! I can’t say enough!

Great Place for after Vet hour treatments. Well run, kind compassionate staff. Signed in online and only waited 30 minutes to see Vet. Thought the office visit charge was not bad however the price of the meds was more than the office visit. (antibiotic & pain med) Ouch!
