Dr Toro and staff are wonderful! I bought a new horse and they were so kind to fit me into their busy day at the barn. He was paitent, kind and informative. Got my horse up to date on her shots and showed me how to properly treat a persistent problem she’s had for YEARS! In only a few weeks she is healing and is a healthy ans happy horse. Thank you for treating Journey like your own pet.

I have been using Sarasota Equine since 2004. They have always been wonderful. I've had emergency calls in the middle of the night, day visits and even hauled to the clinic. They are always helpful and truly care about each client. Most recently I needed to have a mare put down. Dr. Toro was my first choice as he knew this mare and even bred her for me a few years ago. He came on time, showed tons of compassion and made sure she went as peaceful as possible. He stayed and talked to us after and reassured us that we did the right thing. Thank you again Dr. Toro for being such a great human being and a wonderful vet. I truly appreciate you.

I have been using Sarasota Equine for over 15 years and everyone from the office staff to the vets are always so caring, kind and helpful. They don't treat you like a number but more like family and really get to know you and your animals. There prices are reasonable and they don't try to nickel and dime you on something that won't help. They are very straight forward and honest, but at the same time have so much care and compassion in helping our animals. Thank you to everyone at Sarasota Equine for what you do, you all have so much compassion for your clients and the animals and would highly recommend you to everyone.

My experience scheduling an appointment for my boy was very pleasant. The receptionist I’ve spoken with was polite and patient over the phone. She was also prompt and courteous. My gelding and I had the honor of meeting our new vet, “Dr. Copeland”, last week. Dr. Copeland is extremely observant and kind. My horse immediately took to him and seemed to enjoy his visit! (Despite the fact that he needed to be “poked!) It’s obvious Dr. Copeland is highly experienced, caring, knowledgeable, thorough and never wants to leave a client with any questions or confusion. He was sure to ask several times if I had any questions or if there was anything else he could help us with. Along with that, he has a lovely sense of humor which puts everyone at ease and makes the atmosphere light and positive. ???????? ???????? I certainly hope I do not have to call them again except for the usual routine visits, but if I do, I am relieved and confident in knowing that my horse is in the BEST hands! EDIT: Since Dr Copeland has retired, “Dr. Kaiser”, is now my geldings new primary care veterinarian. He is phenomenal! It is easy to see how much he cares about his four legged clients. He takes the time to answer and explain every question you can possibly come up with! He is honest, professional, and, is also very gentle with my senior guy. (I can tell my horse really likes him!) We are very thankful for the top notch care he provides for my beloved, “Killian”. ???????? ???????? :D

Dr. Scott has been a great addition to Sarasota Equine. He is always easily accessible, does a great job following up and puts up with all my worst case scenario questions. We were really happy when he was out recently and gave us the all clear to go back to work with one of our geldings who was previously battling a upper respiratory infection.

All the doctors are great, caring, thoroughly explains and shows things , and extremely helpful!

I was very pleased with the great customer service that Dr. Johnnie Copeland gave me. He came out within the hour and was able to diagnose the problem and correct it. He was informative and gentle with my horse. I would definitely ask for him again.

Let me start with a phone call to make an appointment. The office staff was amazing, friendly and extremely helpful. Dr. Toro came out to see the horses and check them over. He answered every question and I felt confident after he left. He was so patient and kind and of course awesome with the horses. I am so thankful that Sarasota Equine was recommended to us by many people in our neighborhood. Just the best!

This is the best clinic around. The vets are all great and go the extra mile for you. The office staff is so nice. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my animals.

Dr Kaiser responded to a call made for my mare several years ago. I did not have her records from Colorado and he constantly harrassed me because I did not have them. After some time and ending up extremely upset I said I wanted the appointment ended and I would pay for his time. I received a bill for $175 and received nothing. I have recently paid the amount owed and requested one of the vets to come and treat my horse. HE HAS BLACKBALLED ME FROM ALL THE VETS AT SARASOTA EQUINE. SO MUCH FOR CONCERN FOR THE ANIMALS YOU SHOULD BE TAKING CARE OF. I am considering reporting him to the board overseeing veterinarians Very unprofessional

I have worked with Sarasota Equine for 16+ years!! All of the Doctors are informative, kind, patient, and understand that us equine mommies do all we can for the horse no matter the discipline. I have had only positive experiences overall. The ladies in the office are wonderful! Kelly and Sue are always kind and communicative. If I am ever in a pinch, I do not worry as I know the entire team at Sarasota Equine believes in communication and will do their very best for me and my horse!

Love this veterinarian group! They have been caring for my horses for several years. The office staff is the nicest group of ladies. I have been with vets offices before that would run every test imagined but not this group. The Vets only test what is necessary and they always let you know your options. They are understanding, compassionate, professional, and most importantly they truly care about your horses!!!
