I have taken my year old dog to them for daycare , 4 times in the last month with no problems. The daycare and boarding staff is Awesome. When I needed to see the Vet I was turned away. They state “walk ins welcome “ on their building , signage and website. However after submitting the online profile. They turned me away stating they are not taking new clients. They now have lost my business for boarding grooming and daycare. Very unprofessional !

AWFUL!!! Do not take your pet to this place... IT WILL GET SICK!!! My dog stayed there for 2 days... healthy, when we picked him up, we noticed that could not bark really well, and after few hours started coughing. Took him back to their clinic and the lady there was acting like she did not know and charged us $80 for the pills. Obviously they don't keep the place clean and disinfected as they should. They were not worried about my dog at all, was all about the money!!!

Very thorough caring veterinarians. I moved from out of state and needed a new vet for my 9 year old at the time, Golden Retriever. With her being elderly I wanted to develop a good relationship with the veterinarian who takes care of her. Dr. Brodie gives Maggie Mae excellent care, very compassionate. I highly recommend them.

My dog loves this place. She gets excited when she is within a mile of the place,wagging her tail and howling.

They took good care of our furbaby while we were on vacation. Followed our feeding instructions which I had written out for them. She had her bath before we arrived to pick her up. She seemed just fine with the experience and glad to be home.

My dog loves it at Hagans pet resort, shes always happy to go! And the staff is outstanding!

Was a great stay ! Friendly greeting and nice people . I know my dog was well treated as she was happy and bathed as promised . Very happy pet owner and will absolutely visit again .

Took my Grantdog to her vet. I have never seem a dog who loves going, but she does. Her tail is going 90 miles a minute. Everyone there is special ????????

Words cannot express the amazing care Hagan's has given to my pets over the years...they are so accommodating and provide such professional care whether it's a routine visit, a procedure/surgery, or whatever issue comes up. And they care...the docs, vet techs and staff take the time to address issues and explain things and are compassionate to my pets and to us, the humans, as well. I had to bored my boys for a few weeks well I got my place ready. I love it here I also use the vet very reasonable in price. And every one is friendly. My boys love there doctor too.

Our dog has been boarding at Hagan's since she was a puppy 12 years ago, and it's always been a good experience. Now that she's an old lady, she requires a little more attention, and Hagan's staff is happy to take care of her. The only complaint I have is that they are closed for dropoff and pickup on Sunday, so when we go away for a weekend we have to wait until Monday to pick her up.

Everyone was great. Still working on my dogs problem. Very thorough.

Dr. Brodie performed surgery on my seven month old puppy and it was a big success! He and his staff took really good care of my dog who healed quickly. Dr. Brodie always takes time to listen to my questions, and is very caring, warm and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Brodie and Hagan’s Pet Resort. ????????????

The staff is so rude. I am extremely disappointed in the attitude of the staff because this clinic has been so highly recommended to me for years! I've been living in Sarasota for almost 10 years and based on recommendations I thought to myself, "If I ever get a dog, I will bring it to Hagen's". So, my boyfriend and I finally got a dog and drove 30 minutes to get to Hagan's 15 minutes early for our appointment, just to be treated unkindly by most of the staff (except for one very nice and informative middle-aged man with brunette hair who gave us sign-in papers and led us to the exam room). The lady who I set up the appointment with over the phone was nonchalant and impatient...that should have been my first clue. And then the receptionist who I saw upon walking into the establishment was rude. Her first words were not "Welcome to Hagen's. What's your name/do you have and appointment?". Rather, she said, "Do you guys have a dog?" I said, "Yes." She said, "Well you need to wait outside."...that was all. Dr. Huber himself was the most unkind of them all. He was extremely dismissive, condescending and unkind. I was floored. He was with our dog for no more than 6 minutes and was the rudest doctor that I have ever come across. His first words upon walking into the room were, "Let's switch sides here; You're on my side of the table." to my boyfriend. His second sentence was "Did you bring the stool sample?". We explained that no one told us to bring a stool sample, this was our very first dog, etc. He looked at the dog's ears with the otoscope, got verbally frustrated when the dog wiggled, checked the dog's genitals, etc and then pointed to the exit door saying "You have a healthy dog here. See the front desk about your next visit." Not once did he welcome us to his business or give us information or look us in the eyes or even smile!!! This is our first dog and that was our first vet visit with that dog, and I don't want us to give them another penny. I'd rather spend more at another clinic (that is closer) than to drive 30 minutes away to deal with (and pay to deal with, for that matter) rude receptionists and rude vet for the next 10-15 years ...no thanks! They seem to treat most of their clientele nicely and they get a lot of business, so I'm sure they won't be sad to lose us (or even notice that they lost us) as future customers...but whatever. Perhaps they were ready to end their work day or judged us for some undeserved reason...in any event...I thoroughly hated my experience there (with the exception of our treatment by the One nice man)

The vet here is so great and the staff is so nice, I took my mothers dog in to have him euthanized and they were so sympathetic and nice. They took care of the dog for my mother for years as well as several other dogs she had. Shes always been very hapoy with them and my experience was very nice and comforting given the situation.

So took our puppy in for one thing and never met this Dr. that everyone has spoken so highly of. The front desk people were very rude and not helpful at all. Very concerned about our puppy now. I think we made a bad choice here.
